Hi Andrew, Shame having carb problems with the P-47. She flew nice. Did you determine the retract problem? You were honking with the P-40. Sounded great and you greased the landing. Did I hear correct you didn't like P-40's. Sure didn't show with that flight. I located an FMS 1700mm P-47. Needed something not complicated to put together with my two sisters using all the space in the house and leaving me with no building area. You and the family stay safe.
Very nice! I agree with the comment about the tower/horizon merger. I have the Top Flite giant Corsair and was looking for the zero or 190. Shame they’re not making any more.

P-40 was awesome.... P-47 has electric gear that needed to reset then worked fine.
Now top Flite is back Dino in Florida has them

Never cycle the gear on a maiden flight. Needless risk.
Gear always goes up..... what if the engine quits and I'm forced off the runway? If you don't trust the gear, you shouldn't be using it!
