This is Laurie Strode’s last stand.

Icon Jamie Lee Curtis returns for the last time as Laurie Strode, horror’s first “final girl” and the role that launched Curtis’ career. Curtis has portrayed Laurie for more than four decades now, one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history. When the franchise relaunched in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.
Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
Halloween Ends co-stars returning cast Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as The Shape.
From the creative team that relaunched the franchise with 2018’s Halloween and Halloween Kills, the film is directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay by Paul Brad Logan (Manglehorn), Chris Bernier (The Driver series), Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. I would say they did that pretty well in Halloween 2018. They didn’t do that in Halloween Kills simply because it was already in the end of Halloween night. So make sense it didn’t have the spirit of Halloween but it was more like end of the party. Not for Michael obviously he had a lot of fun in Halloween Kills. 😎😎
I would say the Halloween atmosphere was actually downplayed in the original film.
Halloween 3, Halloween 5 and both Rob Zombie films (but especially the sequel) had the most Halloween atmosphere imo.

The first time I watched Halloween was when I was 9 years old, and since then, it has become my favorite film series of all time. If this is the final film of the series, I give you an emotional farewell. Thank you for showing me how horror films aren’t as bad as I thought they would be, thank you for showing me how not to be afraid of scary things, and thank you for all the memories of all the scares and enjoyment of this long running film franchise.

It was alright. This trailer was so good but the movie was just okay in my opinion. About 6.9/10 for me. Good acting though and I love Jamie Lee Curtis, she did amazing in it. But the 2018 one is the best one out of this trilogy

Legit! It was terrible. It was almost that corny and cringey I couldn’t look away. The 2018 Halloween was amazing and they ruined it by having Halloween Kills as the follow on. Hopefully this one is as good as the 2018 one

This whole series has been forced winks and nods to the original hoping people would be dumb enough to take the nostalgia over expanding the story. Yes. I know at the end of the day it’s meant to be a slasher but as a total fan of John Carpenter I feel that past the usage of the original mask and Laurie being in it, this franchise is so poorly done it’s kind of insulting.

The greatest thing about the 1978 film was not only the nostalgia but how there was barely any blood and you would just assume what would happen. The lighting as well was just dark and eery and with Carpenter's score made it even better. I hope this time they show more of Michael doing what he does best. Stalking and staring.

Worst movie 🎥 worst Halloween series 😮David Gordon is a horrible writer WTF did I just watch ?? Michael myers is hardly in the movie and when he is unfortunately he acts like a wimp !! For the monster that just killed 20 armed people in Halloween kills . He can barley beat up a kid in this one , no wonder grandma finished him off hahaha this is by far the worst horror movie I have seen. For what you had and what you could have done with these Halloween series is what’s really sad 😞 you had the original cast and made a Halloween that is compared to season of the witch 🧙♀️ it was so bad and off the story line of it’s foundation that I am wondering if David Gordon was drunk or way too high when writing these awful scripts
My daughter had the pleasure of meeting the guy who has played Michael Meyers over the years. She has a picture with him and they sat and talked for about an hour. She said he is the absolute sweetest old man in the world!!! Now when we watch any of these Halloween movies she says, "there's my friend my sweet buddy"!!! Ironic in real life that this guy is a sweetheart and he plays a psychopath killer in the movies lol..

It is funny but everybody says the same about Robert Englund who played Freddy Krueger and Kane Hooder who played Jason Voorher at Friday 13th parts 7,8,9 and 10. For sure the fame do not affect them so much since the majority do not know who they are and they can be basically normal dudes and go to have a coffee in Starbucks. So they are not celebrities and they can be themselfes and therefore more relax. Of course is not only that but my guess is that not being a celebrity helps !!

I love it when studios actually pay attention and listen to the audience and fans. All of the past trailers for 2018 and Kills showed way way WAY too much, but this….this trailer is absolutely PERFECT! On top of that, it looks like we’ll be getting the best of both worlds in this movie, by having a more character focused film like 2018, and the absolute brutality and wrath of Michael from Kills, all rolled into one epic conclusion….well, “conclusion”.

Well, there were multiple reboots and contradictions throughout the franchise, but the original and the three latest entries make up a solid story.

What a car crash of a movie to end such a great franchise. It had hardly any plot, Michael Myers was hardly in it and the reasoning behind what was happening was not explained. Anybody who payed good money to go and see this, must be fuming.
I’m glad I watched this disaster on Peacock and did not pay money at a theater to see this flop! These people need to learn when to stop with this movie and leave the original alone!
Halloween ends concludes the trilogy of the new Halloween series. This first trailer is perfect not too much is revealed but just good enough for people to get excited. Ends meaning it could be the end for Laurie Strode or the end of Michael Myers or both of them dying. I believe it's possible that this Halloween will have more brutal deaths and thrills and chases and house fights.
As much as I love the Halloween franchise it really should end . 13 movie s in . Both Micheal and Laurie are seniors at this point
