Thanks so much for this video comparison, I've been struggling to decide between these two sets of pencils. I think I'm going for the cheaper option as I'm on a budget. Also, loved the contrasting colours on the leaves - so effective! 😊
De o Castle Arts l120 lay down better in Amazon books compared to Prisma? My Prisma don't play well with Amazon paper. Which Castle Arts set is best to purchase for Amazon books? Is the set oil? I'm also looking for another oil set aside from my Brutfuner squares that is not budget. I have a set of 12 polys that I'm not a fan of and I was thinking of possibly purchasing a big set, but after about 10 minutes of using the 12 set, the smell is so overwhelming that I find it difficult to colour, so I know that it would be difficult to deal with. Suggestions?
I am curious about what the difference is between Brutfuner macarons and the kolour macarons? I only just got a set of the brutfuner macarons from temu they where pretty cheap compared to other online stores, only the names are different to the ones you have on the chart you did so I’m curious if they are in fact the same colours or different.
Are there any pencils on the market that are not pastel that perform like the Macarons? They are the easiest pencils to use and i find myself wanting to colour entire pages using them. Also, can you add to a future video list an episode on when it is ok to do straight colouring and in what situations. I would also like to know when and why burnishing is used in line art. I see that when you colour line art, you rarely burnish. I often am careful of burnishing because I don't want it to turn into what looks like straight colouring. How does one determine if a person has burnished vs straight colouring? Of course, I use burnishing for greyscale.

I don't have the Kalour Macarons so I'm not sure what the difference is. I just do know that they are different sets.

Macaroon pastel set is by Brutfuner. Brutfuner has 120, 180, 250 and 520 sets.
@@ronikwan6249 Yes, i have the Macaron, squares and love both. I have the 80 set which I'm not impressed with at all.
