- I will show you how to take an old or shipped up crankbait and make it look new again! This is a very easy process. I know anyone can do this themselves. It is so cool watching an old bait become new again.

Well that was amazing. I have rolls of foiled duct tape and knurled wrench handles laying around my garage that I can catch bass with, who woulda thunk it. Thanks again David and I big thumbs up on the silver metal win in Canada.

Hey Dudley I love everything you show but I wish in this one I could have seen it close up after you did the scaling part. I do it with airbrush and some other stuff like screen but I will definitely try this method I just wish I could see it close up of it before I do. Thanks for the info buddy!

Sir you are one of my hero's sir. I mean your amazing I wish I was as cool of a dad as you are and as great as a fisherman to. I mean I wish I had all them baits on my wall were my kids could just come and get whatever they wanted to fish with like you do I mean all of my three kids and my fishing stuff got stolen over this past summer. I mean I know you probably hear stuff like this stuff all the time but sir if you have any used baits or old stuff you may not fish with I'm willing to send you some money or whatever if you would like to get rid of some of it. I mean if not thats fine to your still going to be one of my hero's ok so thats thats and I want to also say thanks for all you have learned me you one heck of a bass teacher. You need to become a bass fisherman teacher with all your knowledge cause you have alot but anyway thanks for all you do and cant wait for the nexts videos keep up the great work

And a little viewer tip for ya, next time you do a lure upgrade video, take like a couple up close shots with the camera like photos and edit them in cuz I could see what you did but really didn’t get to see a good Visual of the bait up close with all the detail you did

the "grip" is called knurl. It is put on with a lathe manually or by CNC... I like to coat my custom baits with KBS clear coating. In fact, I coat my brand new lures with it. No more chrome redeye shads with missing paint!!

Thanks for the foil tip.. Dave, have you ever considered doing a video about line choice ? I.e. what you use, where in what conditions, and why. And, do we really need to use fluro when the water is clear..? Everyone has their choice, I think it would be interesting to hear what you have to say about your's..Keep up the good work.

OK that was cool, what a great idea that's so simple to execute! Is this the same foil tape you use for sealing ventilation duct work and such? Pretty sure I have a roll of this stuff laying around some place. going to try this!
man thats interesting... it doesnt affect the movement of the bait any? imagine all the color combos u can test n make with considering sharpies even have metallic ones now...

As soon as a bass bites it will rip that foil up. You make millions and I don't believe you spend the time doing that when your sponsors will give you those traps for free or nearly free (pro discount)!!! Hell, at Walmart you can get Cordells for around $2.50 and they catch bass like the expensive ones! No need to foil!
I mentioned to use airbrush paint and to epoxy the lure after helps if you pay attention to video be for you comment!
