Join the DR BOB SQUAD by going to / drbob and become an Honorary Member of the Dr. Bob Research Staff!
SCP 682 is a large, vaguely reptile-like creature of unknown origin. It appears to be extremely intelligent, and was observed to engage in complex communication with SCP 079 during their limited time of exposure. SCP682 appears to have a hatred of all life, which has been expressed in several interviews during containment.

The trouble with depictions of 682 is that they often resemble the way it looked in the original photo which is supposed to be a picture of it so damaged that it barely resembles the way it should look when fully healed, it isn't meant to look rotted or skeletal unless it has only just been severely damaged.

bears do actually eat like that and they can run at 35 mph and are incredibly adept climbers my uncle was once riding horses with my cousin and great uncle and they saw a bear run head first down a nearly vertical cliff side and across the canyon for a bluff charge to just scare them off and another time I was up at a lake with my parents and we saw a bear swim across a huge lake like two Olympic sized swimming pools in at least less than a minute and it wasn't even motivated it was just chilling

But I have to say he absolutely knocked this one out of the park. My favourite thing about Dr. Bob is that he doesn't just read the SCP description like every other channel, but actually writes these excellent in-world encounters around which he frames the description. Who's the bigger monster? 682, or the borderline sociopathic and maniacally laughing professor?

Idea to defeat 682: get the butlers hand bell and ask the butler for something that can destroy SCP 682. He can give you anything right? Ask him for some liquid or food that can destroy SCP-682 and ask for tons of that.

I love this interpretation a lot, definitely more than the basic, unoriginal "son of the big bad Crimson King" idea. This one is FAR better imo.

682 is one of the most popular. Ask someone who loves SCP a little bit and just say do you know the immortal Crocodile and they responded by yes it's SCP-682

For some reason, when I first saw SCP-682, I fell in love with the thing for some reason, even though I know it's pretty dangerous and hates almost everyone (besides some AI that evolves itself somehow).
And another thing, if SCP-682 dies, I'd be really sad and hate everyone who killed him.
