The trouble with depictions of 682 is that they often resemble the way it looked in the original photo which is supposed to be a picture of it so damaged that it barely resembles the way it should look when fully healed, it isn't meant to look rotted or skeletal unless it has only just been severely damaged.
bears do actually eat like that and they can run at 35 mph and are incredibly adept climbers my uncle was once riding horses with my cousin and great uncle and they saw a bear run head first down a nearly vertical cliff side and across the canyon for a bluff charge to just scare them off and another time I was up at a lake with my parents and we saw a bear swim across a huge lake like two Olympic sized swimming pools in at least less than a minute and it wasn't even motivated it was just chilling also bears can out run horses for short periods especially a bear just out of hibernation is almost starving

I miss when Dr Bob goes into the SCP folders for a more in depth analysis of the creatures :( It was always so interesting and felt really immersive, like something out of a nature documentary instead of just an animation. I hope they come back in the future.

I miss when lesser known SCPs were covered on this channel, recently it's just been the more well-known ones. Although, the storytelling definitely makes up for it. I'm honestly shocked this is the first time 682 has been covered, since it's so iconic.
It does get kind of boring only talking about lesser-known SCPs. I like that Dr.Bob is covering stories from different popularities, and also it's not like he has completely stopped making videos about the lesser-known SCPs, he's just trying things out.
@@smickothesmickest The truth is that what really sells this channel is Bob's incredible story telling ability. It really doesn't matter which SCP he does, its gonna be good regardless. I've witnessed other channels cover a few of the same SCP's this channel has and in a lot of cases its not nearly as interesting simply because of the way the others present it. There's an art to it just like how Mr. Ballen can do a retelling of real life circumstances and turn it into a great tale. I think its time for change, but that's just my personal opinion.

I've longed for a Dr. Bob video about SCP 682, and now that it's finally here, it's so much better than I imagined it would be! I was surprised by how perfectly accurate 682 was portrayed. He's frighteningly powerful, moves extremely fast, is highly intelligent, and capable of speech, but best of all, the video also portrayed the hatred and disgust for humanity that 682 is most known for. This is easily my favorite of all Dr. Bob videos!
The screenwriting of this channel always amuses me, Dr. Bob sure know how to tell a good story. Seeing the most famous SCP through the eyes of History, straight into his capture, was a take that no other channel has done (that I know until now). Why would an explanation for SCP-682 be needed? It's the most famous SCP, which Dr. Bob usually doesn't do. Especially near the beginning of his channel. Besides, the writing of this video explains it well enough.
yknow one of the things i hate about 682 is how inconsistent its strength is. In some tales, one well-placed rocket launcher strike is enough to knock it out. Here it literally eats a tank shell. Like, its supposed to be hard to neutralize, but its supposed to not be too hard to stop in its tracks (compared to something like 096 which cannot be stopped)
Okay, tbh I've been pretty disappointed with the choice of subjects in the Dr. Bob videos recently: what with the "versus" and "origin" rehashes and such, missing the new, exciting, mind-bending adventures I'd gotten used to from this awesome channel. But I have to say he absolutely knocked this one out of the park. My favourite thing about Dr. Bob is that he doesn't just read the SCP description like every other channel, but actually writes these excellent in-world encounters around which he frames the description. I even love the "versus" ones he does, I think I'm just sour because SCP Explained started doing the same thing and now they never cover new SCPs anymore. This is all to say, Dr. Bob rocks.

For those still confused, SCP-682 has been given the Keter Classification; which is a classification given to anomalies by the foundation that are difficult or next to impossible to contain.
