Yes we love to go to Patley Bridge, we tend to go to the rallys on the show ground its even closer to the centre and a lot cheaper😅 the crown pub is also worth a visit , anyway great video keep them coming 👍
You are right Karina we were really impressed with what the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. We loved Bolton Abbey, Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks and of course all of the Ice Cream, cake shops and foodie places that you insisted we visited 😂 Very much looking forward to a return visit 😊
The site looks nice and what a perfect location, just a short walk to the town. The Motorhome looks great and the pies did too. Butchers pies are always good. Nice to see you out and about and look forward to the next one.
Weatherheads butchers is nice too. Also the Nidderdale Museum is amazing for such a small town. You mentioned Bolton Abbey but Fountains is probably nearer. Also you have missed out on Stump Cross Caverns which are great. Lived there until I was 8 so know it quite a bit.

The last time I was in Pateley Bridge was in the 70s a 10 yr. old nipper...We stayed at a campsite just further up the road to where you stayed right next to the beck...I remember it well because we trekked all the way from the site to Stump cross caverns, did the tour then trekked all the way back...talk about uphill and down Dale 🥵

You need to give Heathfield caravan park a try.A little further out from Pateley bridge but has a great feel to the site,and only a 5 minute walk to the bridge inn.
We were at The Riverside caravan park on the following weekend, really nice location and site. We did try the fish and chips and they were good. We also got pies from both butchers and on balance we liked the Kendall's ones better. Also i lost my glasses on the pitch and the campsite found them, messaged me and then posted them back to my home address in one piece.
Another fantastic video one question if you can help, we have had 2 caravans and are looking to change again we seem to change at 3 years old but this time caravan or motorhome I have fell for a Mobilvetta k yacht but it is a lot of money, i thought I would ask you as you have done both.
Thank you for watching Wayne.. Mmm, the way we see it is, a motorhome is not a caravan, you need to get your head in to that and what will work best for you. We would stay with the Motorhome for now as we like how easy it is. We literally set off and thats it, and on site it takes minutes to be sat back relaxing. However, once on site you have to plan more about how you will go see places. You either have to research car parks before you go to make sure you can park a motorhome, or book a site where you can walk to where you want to be. (Unless you tow a small car and then maybe you are best with a caravan). With the caravan, more hitching, unhitching, getting water etc but you have the car and usually more room inside depending on the size. If you are thinking about a motorhome try rent one first, even if its a few days, you will know within a few days if it will work for you or not. It could save you a lot of money if you decide you dont like it. We absolutely love the motorhome..but its not a caravan..if you use that mindset you wont go far wrong. I think Mobilvetta are Italian and were supplied initially through Marquis..I dont know if that has changed now. A good thing to do is also join a Facebook group for that manufacturer and see what owners are saying..always sound advice there. All the best with whatever you choose…😊👍

We went to Pately Bridge from Woodhouse Farm near Fountains Abbey. I found it rather dissapointing. If you travel a bit further over pately bridge past the resevoir you come to studfold camp site, much more picturesque. We also go to Wood House farm caravan and camping site near Fountains Abbey, it is extremely nice there and peaceful between weekends and has tge best amenity block i have ever seen as well as walks and a massive lake, a pub and some rather friendly chickens and helpful and friendly staff.
Thank you for adding some good information about where to stay. There are also some good reservoirs to visit in the area, such as Grimwith and the town of Masham is also very nice, just up the road. Enjoy your travels and thank you for watching 😊👍
Oh no You missed the best Pork Pies. You passed the butchers at the bottom of the main st. Weatherheads. Go back and try. They don't have the variety but the pork pies are the best, so no need for anything else.I nearly had a thrombi when you passed by. 🤣😂

They're not. They are crap. There was an excellent chippie at what is now the library. Unfortunately it was bought out by the high Street fish shop and run out of business some years ago.
We had a very quick stopover for a couple of hours in 2020. Had the most amazing pork pie 🍮 from that pie shop 😊
