Top notch visual aids for explaining the system! Great video. It would be very cool to see a video on the wire arrest system too. Have always wondered how those work
I feel that this will make weak pilots but I do understand what this will do to help people land safely I think that you can relate it to shooting in ILS approach with and using auto pilot. Your still flying the airplane but your using the knobs . I prefer flying it by hand but it’s nice to have that back up. Conversely if you always use auto pilot I feel it weakens you and can put you in a scary position.

That’s why some airlines require a particular number of hand held landings per month from the pilots
