I bought this back in 2015 when you produced it or maybe it was 2016. Thank you for bringing me stoke with minimal glorification to pros and maximum glorification to development!
This is stunning! I have been dodging this watch for a while probably because of the length(mellow getting us used to short feature films). I called in an early day and decided to watch this. WHAT A MAD PRODUCTION!
This is crazy because I just moved to Alabama and I absolutely love it here. There is climbing everywhere. Even in peoples back yards. There’s a house near my job with probably 15 climbable boulders and they have never been touched.
57:11 "What's that thing on your back?" ...I explain... "Oh I see. but what if you fall on your front?" ...further explanation required... Even here in Switzerland, where the climbing community is BIG, I get asked multiple times on every outing. On the bright side, it means that bouldering hasn't gone mainstream enough that all my favourite spots are crowded. Company can be wonderful, but often I prefer to enjoy the solitude of the forest and my project. Excellent video! Really inspiring vibe.
Probably one of the best climbing films I have seen. Really enjoyed it and actually took a break about halfway through to really focus on the climbing and the beautiful scenery. Thanks for this gem!
Paul, thank you for sharing this content. Is there a way for you to enable the auto-caption on as I'd need the accessibility to get the full comprehension of these dialogues? Again, you rock!
I think I still have the DVD somewhere, good excuse to rewatch it! Good to see things like these up on youtube instead of slowly being forgotten about. If only someone would get Progression (from 2008 ish?) up on here. Still my favourite of all time.
Thank you for the video. I'm not a strong climber by any means, but that feeling you get when trying new routes is priceless. Going where there's no book and wondering, "can I climb that?" That kind of exploration and creativity just isn't common in the modern world. I think it gives me a feeling of what our ancestors used to feel. It's amazing. Thanks again. You guys are awesome as fuck.
great video. kinda makes me want to get out and finish the cleaning of my small local piece of wall with a few v4 to v6 boulders :) you definetly ispired me to do so before end of the year :) thanks for that
This was and still is one of my favorite bouldering films! I remember buying it on digital release back when I first started climbing. Great footage and tones, still a banger!
Classic is defined as “best of its kind”. You certainly hit that definition here Paul. You really should bring your crew up to southern interior British Columbia😉
Wow kings of contortion had some of the craziest technical footwork I have ever seen. I’m no pro, but I have watched a LOT of rock climbing and that one really stood out to me. Impressive. How long did he spend projecting that before the send?
Loved the first bit. Really inspiring. The zimbabwe segment tho.. felt rough. Beautiful place, but it felt so corny to me. From calling a makeshift coffee filter a "ghetto filter" to talking about how you want to find new climbs so that everybody praises you. It just had this air of ignorance about it.
Thanks for sharing! Going to be back in Alcaniz with the crew for the winter in three weeks :) Do you remember where the line is that Chris climbs at 29.00?
man I wish I knew! its been too long and there are too many odd roads out there. I remember you could see it from the road and it was next to some old broken down house
Instant classic, personally inspiring, stacked crew, great footage, location, and music, superb job!

Very good. Comments about new routing especially Jimmy's final one ring so true 👍

Bravo! Thoroughly enjoyed watching your journey this past year and a half, inspiring! Don't ever stop what you do. Much love.
Paul: I don't want to say you are now a better videographer than climber, but that was a V17 movie.
hahah!!! thank you I appreciate it

All music is listed in the credits :)

When was this created! Awesome film!
few years back. I think 2018 it came out
What's up with the area in Zimbabwe? Have you gotten back there yet?
Not since then but I hope to again soon!
Muito bom o filme! Galera precisa fazer mais filmes assim!! Só a trilha sonora que ficou meio ruim...abraço!!
Great!!!
When Chris brought up flashing and then blows his flash in .5 secs 🤣🤣🤣
Wow kings of contortion had some of the craziest technical footwork I have ever seen. I’m no pro, but I have watched a LOT of rock climbing and that one really stood out to me. Impressive. How long did he spend projecting that before the send?

Chris asked for spotters' attention on his flash attempt on Unnamed v12 but they looked away on his next try lol
Nice soundtrack to boot
what's the name of the song at time 23.50 min
New Aggros...nice :)
How does this work? If there isn’t a place to hold on to do they crave one and do they mark the path going up? Also why don’t they show coming down?
You are living my dream.
awesome!
Adventure outdoorsy film vibe >>> skater film vibe
