    Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing this video & great outcome too.
    Question; can you;
    1. Use these molds for materials like (especially) cement or even that plaster material? &
    2. Do you have a video on how to make silicon moulds for 3D pieces, (eg. ones without a flat back) like horse sculptures or other animals & flowers etc & if so or you have a video on the method used for making moulds for these types of sculptures that’d be hugely appreciated if you can share them! N.K :D

    • @lexyesss
      @lexyesss 6 лет назад +3

      NicKullenNiksharStud if you want to learn how to make molds for 3D objects without a flat back you should look up "two-part molds" and start from there. If you're molding with silicone you'll either have to brush it on and work in thin layers, then add a support shell, or you can pour each side like a block, using a clay wall (but that wastes a lot of product). The pieces will need to be "keyed" in so they lock together. It's much easier to learn by watching, most consumer level silicone manufacturers have instructional tutorials on their RUclipss.

Thanks its going to be cheaper in the long run, instead of keep buying them! And yes its very satisfying taking them out of the molds! 😊😊😝

      You can find info on food grade silicon on manufacturers websites, or you can CALL their tech support. Some of the people on tech support are really sharp.
      When you find one marked “food safe,” please share-the names and sources of the products. Other people would like to do similar projects, Im sure.
