Hmmm, The day I got married, October 12th, it was 95f here in Modesto, so im thinking we have about 2 month of summer left. Sept/Oct are the best months for growing here as the days cool slightly and nights stay warm.
Hi Jeff.. Great video and Fruits. If you ever decided to AirLayer the Logan tree and sell. Please let me know. I would love buying a branch (tree) from you.
That blue jay sounded like it was in my house, as I use two Yamaha MSR100 (100W) stage monitors for my computer. I need to search your videos to see what issues you have during our winters with these fruit trees.
Such a healthy plant! What an inspiration. I have a small 4ft tall longan here in San Jose that has been in the ground for 2 years. It has grown only about 1 ft so far and most of that growth this year. Seems to be pretty slow growing. It has a very thick mulch layer all the time (arborist wood chips/leaves).
I love that ficus! How does it handle our winters? Does it lose most of its leaves, or does keeping it close to your house protect it enough to get through winter with only minimal damage?
I bought these longan fruits from my Thai supermarket in Germany, we have very frosty winters, it would not be possible to grow the plant here.@@jared8268

Longans and mangos 🥭 are looking good Jeff. We got to prepare for the weather change, summer is almost over in a couple of weeks.

I add a little soil sulfur each year to lower ph.🌴😎🌴
