From my experience just take the back rack off and leave it off till finished. Carburetor has a hole at to that goes straight through it. Vent those to the atmosphere separately or T them together. There are 2 points that have little plastic 90 degree elbows that swivel that might leak depending on how deep you go. One is on the airbox lid. And the other is located between the airbox and carburetor. It actually attaches to the carburetor. They can pop in and out of a rubber boot. Since they swivel I wasn't too sure on how water tight they were so I popped them out and put a small amount of silicon around the end of the elbows. Do not block the holes. And pushed them back in. On the airbox lid you have to silicon the elbow and the lid at the same time and put everything back together quickly. Put lid on. Snap in place. Gas tank cover in place to hold hose in place to dry. Silicone the air box shut? How do you clean or replace your air filter? Can some kind of filter go in the snorkel tubes as an alternative to the stock air filter for easy clean or replace?
Did you buy that kit? I just want to know what type of hoses did you use. I'm currently using ABS 2 inch pipe but want to use flexible hose on my new bike.
On the forums I’ve read if you don’t run two hoses the jets will have to be changed and you will have issues with not enough air, also don’t be the guy that silicones the air box shut. You will regret every second of that when taking it off for service. Make sure your rubber gasket is in good shape, then get you some regular grease and apply a decent bead of grease on top of your rubber gasket. It will never leak. Just reapply when checking your filter

I don’t think so cause there has been a ton of people that have just done one and it been fine
