Just bought my first Moulton, I have cycled for over 50 years. Not competitively but for utility and pure pleasure. It is a pleasure to ride and an amazing experience
I note one inaccuracy...Bogdan was not in the 1983 Race Across AMerica ( I should know, I was in the race) More like 1985 when he was part of the "Tiny Tire Team" kicking my ass at the JMO West.
You never see them in international competitions like the Tour de France, why not?? Because the international cycling federation banned small wheel bikes ! Probably under pressure from French bike manufacturers.
I'd love to see some top quality tubulars on Moultons again. Right now (2017) there are Vittoria Juniores 406 tubular tires, but I don't know what rims there are for them. The top-end tubeless (Schwalbe Pro One) sound like they could be contenders in terms of construction, but again, what rims? The main reason I haven't gotten back into Moultons since selling my titanium prototype is the seeming disinterest of the market (or current Moulton management?) in pushing the limits. The MDev 90 was introduced in 2010, and looked to be brilliant, but then just faded away.
Thank you for this quite beautiful video showing the superb work of Dr. Alex Moulton.

Like also the "Tea Man" at 3:33... with the hot water "kettle" tied to his back???

Dynavector in Japan are making some absolutely beautiful high-performance wheels especially for Moultons.
No suspension on these Moultons, right
Brilliant...
