Ride a Pashley Moulton with a Rohloff hub ... lovely ride, fast (great fun keeping up with the confused lycrese folk on their flash racers), and a tautness that has to be experienced to be understood. Wonderful on the open road and the best playing-with-traffic bike I have ever owned (and Ive owned a few good uns).
Beautiful film about a beautiful product. It definitely stimulates desire for a Moulton! My pocket isn't so deep but I'm seriously looking at a new TSR2. Which I assume is made by Pashley in Stratford. But the engineering principles will be there and that's what really fascinates me. Smaller, more comfortable, separable, British, iconic design but above all (and most importantly) an extremely effective bicycle.
I ride a TSR with a Rohloff hub, it is a beautiful ride, and is seriously quick. When I bought it (third owner but first to ride it, the first two had just had it hanging up to admire... pips were still on the tyres) I worked out the gearing (chain-wheel size) that would suit based on the gear-inch range that suited on my previous 'standard' bike. Within a couple of weeks I realised that the 'energy saved' by the stiff Moulton frame meant that I needed stiffer ratios, and swapped from a 65 to a 75 tooth chain-wheel. And have a wonderfully fast machine : ).
Appreciate the craftsmanship, my favorite small wheel bike
A work of art for sure. Lovely bike.

state of the art
200 braze points? I appreciate that
I need a replacement fork as my steerer tube broke at the first thread of the threaded section.
However no replacement part is available.
