    I bought a secondhand TSR22 a year ago. Having ridden bikes all of my life, I’m now 65 and I have arrived at the best bike.
    I find hill climbing easier than larger wheeled bikes. It’s an experience that’s difficult to explain when you ride one.
    Thanks for your video showing your passion for these bikes.

    The one thing often not emphasised about owning a Moulton is it's transportability.
    I have a TSR, and love it.
    The best thing, other than the bike itself, is the fact I can split it in two, and get it in the back of my Fiat Panda.... Brilliant.

    And that's why I love Moultons 😊😊
    Great to see you guys loving them too.
    I've always described them as like riding a velvet covered girder. The frame is so stiff yet the suspension makes it amazingly comfortable and with super roadholding. The ability to just ride over things like tree roots is ace. I once failed to see a roadworks sign which was laid down and just rode over it. It was dark but I'm sure I'd have come off on a conventional bike.

    Hi Paul and Sarah. What a brilliant video...your best yet. I bought years ago a Moulton MK3 stripped and rebuilt it. It was the love of my life..😂😂. Unfortunately, I had it stolen around Easter. After looking at various options, I replaced it with an electric brompton C line. If I'm honest, I'm very disappointed 😞. The battery and motor are great, but what a hard ride...especially compared to the Moulton. Sarah is spot on when she says the ride is fast and smooth, plus it's such an iconic and beautiful bike to look at. My Brompton is going on the market after watching this as a Moulton has always been the bike for me. Probably go for a TSR8a.
    Thanks again for the re-education. 😊

      @@paulrichmond9720 hi Paul, Sarah here. Having this bike stolen would be an absolute nightmare! Just thinking about it makes me feel a little sick so I understand how you must feel. Paul loves his Brompton but I have never fully felt the love he does! I find them rather twitchy and heavy but apparently you do get used to that. So I for one and very pleased we’ve inspired you to get another Moulton! We are both very excited for you and thank you for sharing and watching 👍

    Wow, what a brilliant series!. I've been eagerly waiting for each episode and I was actually rewatching the entire series when this popped up as the next video suggestion! Honestly really enjoyed the series and the both of you. I have a 1965 F Frame that I need to get repair but I've been pining for a cheap APB to repair/restore and they get snapped up very quickly and go for silly money. You are absolutely correct, for the money, one could've bought a brand new bike but this APB is built with care and love that you'll never get from one off the production line.

    The APB is brilliant to ride, but they somehow managed to make the dynamics even better when they designed the TSR. It handles better, is lighter and feels even more a part of the rider. There are bottle cage mounts on the bottom tubes on the TSR which is an improvement on the seat tube bottle cage on the APB.

    • @johnpot7323
      @johnpot7323 3 месяца назад

      Fitting a front rack you can mount two bottle cages. But brand dependen, as some cause bottles to hit steering tube from experience on TSR, and APB, dependent on how the cage is designed! The higher the cage sits the better! Also using some Ortlieb parts fitted two Axiom hanble bar bags as mini front panniers.

      @@veloworks9266 hi thank you for your reply, aquestion for Paul, I am new to moulton riding and having recently purchased a tsr 30 I love it but I am reading up on everything Moulton. I am just wondering if I have purchased the wrong bike for me, as forums are saying you have to grease the bushes around the pivet and rear suspension every 200mls or so. Ijust wouldn't have a clue. Paul what's your thoughts on this? I don't have a Moulton dealer by me so a bit lost now. hope you can helpout Paul

    • @veloworks9266
      @veloworks9266  3 месяца назад

      @@julieannwhitehouse8148 hi Julie, thanks for the question. The best thing to do is find a bike shop that is happy to work on Moultons near you (doesn’t have to be a Moulton dealer) and make them aware that the bushes might need greasing but generally I would just aim to have the bike have a full service once a year or twice a year if you have heavy use. We don’t look at forums ourselves at all because they are quite subjective and over analytical and generally when people tell us they have info from a forum it’s not often right 🙈 The best thing to do is ride the bike, get to know it and find a good local mechanic 👍
