      I found a 2000sqft 4 bdrm 2 bath house with a nice big barn on 3/4acre for $102k in VA. It needs no major or super costly repairs. Might end up at $110k-115k in the end. The same exact type of house where we live in WA is at least $500k.
      Fibromyaglia & endometriosis make making money practically impossible so we have to think about moving.
      Depending on where you move it is totally economically possible even for the very poor.

    Sister, you are delightful. Never denigrate yourself! You are saving the planet😊
    Your recycling is just so genius!
    As a 74 year older lady who is also a retired violinist now a street violinist next to Disneyland, I have stuck a layer or two of bubble wrap in my blouse or vest to keep me warm in winter.
    I'm planning to make a cordura vest in two layers so I can stick bubble wrap inside.
    The pockets of air make it a dynamite insulator.
    You are soooo creative that I think you could enjoy a prosperous future by popularing recycled clothes if you just design the exterior with design and flash.
    It would be not so hard to design cool-looking homeless ponchos, coats and jackets with water-repellent exterior like nylon etc. and an interior pocket all around for bubble wrap stuffing single sheets.
    If you market it well enough, others would buy it and if lowcost enough, homeless advocates could afford to buy by the dozen.
    (But being a homeless advocate for years, they'd want some kind of large patch or logo or design to convey respect, such as the old flag, Don't Tread on Me.
    A+ from an old teacher!
    May the Lord bless your creative little heart❤

    Love this. I didn’t even know those things that held the toilet paper had a name. I’m thinking of making myself one as well. Not with bubble wrap since I don’t have any.
    Side note: You inspired me to cosplay. I’m old and from a country that thinks those things are for young or privileged (or both) people. Also to dress in vintage style. Love you and your content. Keep doing you.

    You singing "Trashion Queen" made me remember that the art teacher at my middle school put on a *Trashion Show* every year where groups of students signed up and made all sorts of elaborate outfits out of newspapers, bubble wrap, and other assorted trash and then had a fashion show in the auditorium modeling everything. Definitely a memory I forgot I had 😂

    4:00 in my area when people move, they post on the local Facebook group to see if anyone has or needs boxes. Stuff gets passed down rather than bought new and/or wasted. There's a lot of cardboard boxes you can get free from businesses too. So before you toss things in the recycling, you could see if that's an option for you! Fun idea to make a dress! It's so fun and poofy.

    Grippy-dot socks - I collect them for when we go to the beach with my family in the summer because 1) the rental houses always have un-carpeted main floors (due to sand) and 2) someone always cranks the air conditioning so my feet get cold. Love the "toothpaste room". Minty green is the accent in my otherwise gray kitchen.

    From a person who has moved a dozen more times than I ever wanted... boxes from grocery stores: water, laundry detergent (if you can handle the scent) & egg boxes. The first 2 are heavy duty and have handles, eggs boxes are large, not heavy duty, with handles. They all make great storage boxes. 2nd recommendation: packing material. T-shirts, sheets, towels, socks, winter hats & gloves (if your climate requires them),...etc. I even wait to donate clothing until after the move... easy to sort as you are unpacking. Finally blankets, comforters, pillows, etc make good furniture protectors. Scarves to wrap add extra padding on corners, or wall hangings. Coats and pillows are also good to put between larger items so they don't rub....and newsprint!

    • @blazertundra
      @blazertundra 3 года назад +1

      Adding to this, if you happen to know people who work at places that do mass mailing, the paper and envelope boxes are great for moving. When I used to work in that industry, my friends always asked for boxes because they're sturdy enough for paper, designed to be easy to carry, and were all in a very consistent size, which made loading the truck more effecient.

    • @purpleclove1929
      @purpleclove1929 3 года назад

      @@blazertundra Ahhhh yes!! Boxes with lids!! Saves money on tape too!!Forgot about those! And again they are great for storage too...and they are easy to give away to others for use. The more these boxes can be used before recycling them, the smaller their footprint!
