To me it mirrors telling someone you love them for the first time, or sharing something you never shared with someone else. You are trusting the will not use it against you, to hurt (kill) you. I have people I can talk about my day, or who know some stuff, but nothing like that.

Agree 100%. Tom Ellis´s performance in this show is for the ages and his chemistry with Lauren is legendary (who is also great, but this season showed the best of her acting skills). Most endearing and fascinating TV relationship I´ve seen in a while.

There also is this scene where he forced Ella's brother to keep face in front of her so she isn't disappointed by him. I like how he cares about so many people now, not just Chloe.

Moments like this along with many others with Lucifer saving her life and risking his proves how much he loves her. In this moment it should tell her how much he loves her as actions always speak louder than words. Lucifer is more 'human' than he realizes and he's very insecure because he doesn't feel worthy of Chloe so he was always afraid to say the words and being rejected. It is evident in this moment that he is saying that he loves her. ❤️

Lucifer is more 'human' than he realizes and he's very insecure because he doesn't feel worthy of Chloe so he was always afraid to say the words and being rejected. It is evident in this moment that he is saying that he loves her. ❤️

@Dire Wolf I used to watch Grey's Anatomy the first two seasons. Yesterday I watched a current episode. They've replaced at least 90% of the cast. I wouldn't want that to happen to Lucifer at all.

Good thing is there almost were no fillers till now, so one season may be enough to answer some open questions and give it a proper ending. I just feel like the weapons in question you're talking about are more like combat knives, that axe isn't exactly a balanced/good weapon, unless you're a tree. The sadness in his eyes that he has to tell her that he'd die for her is heartbreaking. Lucifer has always been more about actions than words when it comes to his feelings. Easier to show his feelings than to voice them. When he does voice them, though... Damn. He holds your heart in his hands.
