It looks like a ground drive muck spreader - the floor is like a conveyer belt. The mechanism is powered from the axle (probably by chain) and moves the load toward the beaters which rotate throw it out the back.
Joe, Does anyone make shims that can fit in a coupler pocket to boost the height of the shank ? This is to remedy coupler droop when trying to match a car to the Kadee coupler gauge.
Kadee themselves sell washers that you can use. You could also use a thin piece of styrene. Other than that, I don’t know of anything specific, but there could be other solutions.
