I don't yet, I figured I'd probably have to grow the community here a bit before starting a viable discord community, but it might be a good idea to get started early with a handful of people that might be interested!

If anything it might even help it grow even more:) Especially considering the diversity of software and tools you share knowledge of, it separates you from other creators who only focus on one thing (only 3D, only comp, etc). Hey, maybe you could even create your own weekly/monthly challenge, that could be fun:) I’d join in an instant either way though, please do announce it if you choose to make one someday!

So your numbers for fellowship are wrong. There were 574 VFX in that movie. They give this number on the DVD.
Very large numbers of VFX artists are uncredited, thus this comparison is not quite meaningful.
