There’s no way to time something like this, but my father passed away last night, so this song truly means the world. I’ll always associate it with his memory. Thank you, BERNTH.
I am SO sorry for your loss bro. I am glad something has brought you some comfort in what must be one of the darkest moments of your life. Having already experienced this, it never goes away but it will get better with time. Hang in there.
Sorry for your loss the video almost got me until I saw this comment that sucks man I'm glad you found something beautiful to remember him by my condolences to your family
Sorry for your lost bro. I lost my father in march to covid. He was the one that introduced guitar to me, we both loved led zeppelin and deep purple. And he fell in love with yngwie after i introduced it to him. I remember when i was a teenager and want to sleep in, but i woke up because my father was watching yngwie's concert on full blast. Great times, great memory.
This means a lot right now. My grandmother was just told she has 3 weeks to live. She has an inoperable brain tumor. It's really hard to feel so powerless. So thank you bernth. As always, best wishes. Amazing song
damn i hope you feel better, i officially cut contact with my ex a month ago but the relationship was over months ago when i found out she was entertaining someone else during our entire 3 year relationship.
duuuuude, this is powerful! i feel that tears of pain, will run down the cheeks of many that hear/see this. thankyou sincerely for this truly beautiful composition, brother Bernth! we all know you shred, lol, but this is the art the world needs right now, more than ever. remember, we're all unique. just like everyone else.😉 to anyone who reads this, your obviously an epic person, with great taste in music🤘 that or you got it randomly in your suggested...
I've been stuck in hospital for the last 4 weeks, and have been told I might be permanently disabled and unable to work, travel, or walk properly for the rest of my life, and I'm only 30. One of my pets back home (4 hours away) needed to be put down while I was stuck here and I didn't get the chance to say goodbye. My partner hasn't been able to visit me and it's just as hard for him as it is for me. This piece sounded like everything I have been trying to put into words - the anxiety, the grief, the loss of potential, the stress, the tears, the depression, and the tiny glimmer of hope, but I'm glad it did. Thank you eternally for this wonderfully complex and beautiful piece, Bernth.
Needed this, no path to find but telling this broken heart “NOT TODAY” was the best bit of advice I’ve ever been given. You’re a legend mate. Keep them chords going. 💙
Bernth is not only a very good guitarist, he is a great composer. dear Bernth, he must have suffered so much to compose such beautiful compositions at such a young age. An extraordinarily beautiful composition at Waterworks ❤
How can I thank you for this? Broken hearts are a real thing. Sometimes, you can feel grief in your chest, and it radiates a dull pain continually, despite all your efforts to struggle on with out your loved one, or through a devastating failure, or through painful rejection. I couldnt stop crying as I listened, as I felt my pain being drawn through my chest and turned into the most incredible music. The words you wrote to go with the music, are like real food to my soul right now. I CAN fight on another day. We ALL can. Thank you so much again, Mr. Bernth.
It's been my favorite song for the last couple of days. And I love the message and the vibe. Somewhat sad, anxious, impatient but at the same time hopeful and bright. Just brilliant.
Man, I teared up listening to your playing. I think I really worry to much about the future, about things that might repeat themselves. This gave me hope. Thanks from the bottom of my heart ❤️
One of my favorite guitarists out right now. Just so much craziness happened and it’s almost eery how much I needed to see this video. I didn’t want to share, but maybe it will help somehow… Uncle just passed, greatest inspiration of a soul is on hospice, money problems, legal issues & about a billion other problems. But, damn if this wasn’t what I truly needed to read to get by with positivity for the next few months. Thanks, Bernth. Your progression into guitar makes me want to shred and this video makes me feel a bit of hope again. Thanks ::)
So I came across your work with your most recent video of “Waterworks” and man you really are something else. They say that the soul resonates with music and vibrations and honesty I feel that with both of this and “Waterworks” this for its emotional evoking tones and the other for the almost peaceful and serene tones. I really enjoy them. Thanks for sharing them with us. I’ll definitely be sticking around for more.
Same. I found waterworks first and then this. I didn't find any other music vids which is only instrumental and not metal.. so I'm just sticking with how much I know and it really helped write a few poems :)
The timing of this one... I am broken for some time now, but somehow this song helped me to break even more, like completely into pieces. And after having this on repeat for sometime I suddenly felt that I'm not done yet and I have hope again. I relate so much to this I can't even tell. I don't want to get ahead of myself like my problems would disappear after hearing this, but I think I'll manage. You're an amazing player, we all know that, but are also a beautiful human being. Best wishes and THANK YOU.
As a catholic priest, I didn't see this coming. Great vid, great tune, great sound. Satch has a similar title song: "What breaks a heart". God bless you, your family and fans! Really - YOU are not alone but like St. Augustine said: "God who created you without you(r help), He won't save you without you." Man up!
This made me tear up a little. My best friend died in a car accident 2 days ago and I have not been handling it well. I needed to see a message like this so thank you.
Bernd, please take this as the compliment it is meant to be. ^^ Im here a long time, never said much though. I appreciated your skills as a teacher but the constant shredding was not really my style of music. I like trash and shredding but more in a Marty Friedmann way, with expression in the solos etc. And imo this was lacking in the tutorials for a long time. But now we come to the important part. Songs like this, and also the Waterworks "thing" now show me how much skill you really have. This is absolutely amazing and are imo very very important pieces of music in these times, where noone seems to find anything new worthwile to liste to. I hate charts. Im raised, grown up and lived everything from Hendrix to Death but if one has to listen to the same things since decades, because there is simply not much worth to listen nowadays, pieces like this change everything. Im really impressed. You found a way to bring my hope back into modern music. The way how you express youself in the last months is truly amazing. Keep on this way please. This starts to show who you turly are as a musician. Congratulations! Very very nice.
Wow, just wow! It takes a lot to move me emotionally at 43 years old. I lean towards a more stoic position for the most part. This moved me with the pure beauty of the sound and as always amazed me with the incredible technical skill you have. I began playing at age 8 playing my grandfather's acoustic. At 12 I found Metallica, that led to Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Judas Priest, later on Pantera, Sepultura, Fear Factory all the other 80's-90's thrash and metal bands. I always played in bands when younger but by the time I was 25 I gave up on bands and became a bedroom jammer. Then, along come RUclips and Bernth... I have used RUclips to learn from in the past but just bits from here and there. Bernth had a way of explaining things that just made sense and fixed many of my flawed techniques. I have been reborn as a guitartist over the last year. I'm able to play faster and better now than ever before and I'm hungry for more. I became a Patrion subscriber about 6 months ago with Bernth and I was not disappointed in the least! It is worth every last penny for access to the masterclass and workouts. I'm learning theory at long last as well. Great work Bernth! This song is incredible!
Thank you for the music. My wife left our house with our two children to live in a new house bought by her mom a quarter hour away. Our decade long strained relationship takes its toll since two weeks ago and i still try to regain strength to move on with my job, my duty, my life.
Bernth....I'm speechless...You Are Amazing Musician. One of The Best , and in a line with others Amazing guitarists... Your feeling , Your style is One of a kind ❤️🔥🤘 I love this ! Man, You don't play guitar , You speak the guitar language. Under unbelievable perfect control of it. You are living your dreams Maestro. Your very hard work paid of. Wanna get at least 1/4 of Your way there. It is maximum level of sacrifice. I'll just stay right here for longer I think. Please keep Us entertained 👊💪
That was super incredible. By combining greatness in composition, technical execution, and greatness in helping the downhearted, you've done a great thing. I love it 😍
You are a musical genius. Listening to you play is amazing on its own. But, watching you play is an art form itself. You have a talent some people might sell their soul for. Thanx for sharing it with us.
I saw this yesterday evening on the RUclips Bernth Topic. I really liked it and I love that you think of your community. I'm going trough things and this helps. Thank you :)
Dude, that's so technically an emotinoally magnificent! Can't believe someone is such preciosly dedicated to Music, love your style and moto! Never give up, thats the only way! Huge love from Siberia, Russia!!! 🤝🤟👍
This made me emotional thank you! Music is special but this really touched me. Bernth you are incredible and my new inspiration. Love and continued admiration!
This might sound cheesy, but I needed this, both the song and the messages. You're one of the most inspiring people out there for my right now. I truly thank you, man!
Bernth, I hope you're doing okay. We often forget to take our own advice, but you deserve to hear the words of encouragement, too. Depression gets the best of us, and like you said, we're in this together.
4 days ago one of my most beloveds person passed away, so my life turned dark and sad. Thanks, your words and your music touched me, and give me the strength to try one more time, to stop overthinking and fight today and now. Thanks a lot and excuses for my bad English.

Great playing, Bernth. Next level stuff with great feel (never let anyone accuse you of that). The clean tone works well for your playing and I would love to hear more of it. Nice chord progression there, too. :)
The days of a broken heart will be broken forever if you let the sorrow lead you. But if you keep on forth, the heart shall come together again but stronger.

Same, and haven't been able to find anyone meaningful since 😭

Wow, that heart is far from broken. I felt a lot of purpose and strength to keep fighting in those notes! Nicely done.
I can truly appreciate someone who loves their instrument! I have been playing bass for 55 years, and I still love it.
Man, I teared up listening to your playing. I think I really worry to much about the future, about things that might repeat themselves. This gave me hope.

Such a beautiful piece Mr. Bernth!
Great playing, Bernth. Next level stuff with great feel (never let anyone accuse you of that). The clean tone works well for your playing and I would love to hear more of it. Nice chord progression there, too. :)
Man, this sounds like top-tier videogame music from something indie.
Dam you just gave me goose bumps
Man, this is so good. Loving that first sweeping section!
Damn what timing with your current release man, got me right in the feels as I'm going through some major heartache atm
The days of a broken heart will be broken forever if you let the sorrow lead you. But if you keep on forth, the heart shall come together again but stronger.
we all needed this, i miss my homie group. idk if any of the friends from the group will see this, but i hope you guys are alright, or strive to be better. i approciate you, my dude! thanks for the reminder to keep on going!
The most beautiful piece I've ever heard
Holy fuck, best and cleanest clean tone playing I've seen in a while! Great message as well:)
Mr. Bernth, that was so Beautiful, you're really inspired me to wake up and keep singing, playing and make it. You're touch a life. Thanks
Thank you... im fighting against a monster that apparently im unable to overcome and that is destroying the most important thing that i have in my life... i feel alone... a lott
but i'll keep fighting!
I don't even know why im writing this but the music was inspiring
Falling in love sounds like that stunning descending bass line in Opeth's Hex Omega.
Man ...you are ....I don't have words
Ima suffering from same situation ..and you play for all of us ..
You are a guitar god
A guitar gaint
That's the coolest thing I've seen of yours man. Well done. Thank you.

Thanks for the kind words Bernth. Beautiful arrangement.
Thanks for making this bernth I loved listening to it and it has now been added to my relaxation playlist and I will be sure to show people this song.

I just came across your song. I literally can relate to this. I have been diagnosed with Tachy-Brady syndrome. My heart can beat really fast and other times slow. Also, I am going through a really hard time right now with a lot of change in my life. It's like this song was meant for me. Thank you!
