    Oh thank you for sharing and showing how much you love life and sewing. God shines in you. You give me hope and I see a huge improvement in my sewing from watching you . I am so glad you are back. I love how you show all details. That is my only way to learn. God has blessed me and with his guidance from the holy spirit I am able to grow and let others see Christ in me. I now belong to a sewing group ,have taken sewing lessons ,bought a better sewing machine.: A Vibrant Baby Lock . I am working toward a Baby Lock serger .Alto I do have a brother serger which I use and love. Thank you for all you do and most of all your living for Christ.

      Hi Mary! You make me smile while reading your comment. Love all the fun you're having with your sewing. Just want to make sure you know that the Vibrant is a serger. You mentioned you bought it and also want to buy a serger. Not sure if I read that correctly.

      You are one of the few whom answers. Yes I want a Baby Lock serger and I bought a Jubilant baby lock sewing machine. I do have a Brother serger . I just made a pair of wide leg pants and I love them. You told me to practice with either Muslin or another fabric before I cut my main fabric. It works. I am such a happy person. Thank you again for your blessings you gave today . You give me confidence.

The T-shirt was always great looking- but when you paired it with the long skirt, it looked elegant. The very next photo was with you wearing shorts and it looked great there as well. You did really well! Great style, great instructions.

    You are the answer to a prayer. I have a young neighbor who wants to learn to sew and with you doing a lot of the work, I can help her learn. I sew very well but have reached a point where I have trouble remembering what to tell her that she must learn. You do a wonderful job of that and I get left with answering questions and telling her how wonderful her sewing looks. May God bless you for the work you are doing.

About your trials and tribulations from a couple years ago and how you're dealing with it. It is very apparent that you are living in your design! May God continue to bless you and watch over you!

    Hi, Anita, I’m Really glad that you are in a place to start giving us education.again and I’m so glad that you took time for yourself. I appreciate that you shared how difficult it was for you to give away your husbands clothes. That took lots of courage. I applauded that you are redecorating your sewing room. That too takes courage. I personally am glad to have met you on RUclips. I have lots of suggestions for garments. I have been afraid of knit fabrics and want to learn and practice with them. For me and my granddaughter. I too have very old patterns from high school and my twenties. Whenever you want suggestions, I’ll be here to give you mine. I just want to learn more about garments. I’ve sewn since high school, but never had formal education. Well, currently I’m making masks for folks and want to sprinkle in something a little different now. Let us know what we might be doing soon. I’m so very glad to know you. Would love to meet you!!🤗💕😊🤷‍♀️. Do you have a Facebook page. We could hook up there to meet. I made a knit t-shirt (out of Doodles knit) some time back and every time I wear it am a bit dissatisfied with it....it has stretched out at the bottom. Sure wish I'd seen this trick before about using interfacing at the hem. I just never thought of doing that for knits but I will from now on! Thanks for all the tips and tricks!

Here's the link: learntosew.anitabydesign.com If it sounds interesting, make sure you join the waitlist because my email community will have the first opportunity to enroll when the course opens again.

    Loving your channel, which I only recently came across. I'm a very visual learner so your camera placement and detailed instructions are just excellent ! Thank you for the effort you put into these videos. Best wishes from Hampshire, Great Britain x

      Thank you so much for pointing out the camera placement. I'm learning how to do this on my own and that's one thing I really wanted to nail. When I watch videos, I want to see exactly what is being demonstrated. Therefore, I wanted to provide what I look for in other videos. Thank you for watching in Great Britain.

      Awesome Juanita! It blows my mind that so many people with years of experience are watching my videos. Just proves the point that we are always learning from each other. No matter how much we think we know, there are always little nuggets of information that can help us improve our craft. Thank you for your feedback.

    You are really blessing people with your talent. Between you and Brittany Jones, my girls in sewing camp are learning so much. I have a free sewing camp for at risk youth and these free videos are a blessing from God. Thank you for sharing.

      @AnitabyDesign  5 лет назад +1

      Yes, Eileen! Bless your beautiful heart for what you're doing for the young ladies in the camp. I love sewing and to know that I can be part of helping young people learn a craft they can use in so many ways is absolutely worth all the time that it takes to produce this type of content. I really appreciate you for this feedback. Makes my heart smile so BIG!!! Tell the girls I said HELLO, and that thy are so precious in God's eyes. Tell them that everything they learn, in every area of life, is building the foundation from which they will launch into a bright future. You are a gift to them Eileen. God bless you.

    Thank you so much, Anita! I just ordered the pattern and the twin needle too. I don’t have a serger or cover stitch machine but have the Baby Lock Soprano like yours and am hoping to purchase a combo one in the future.
