After the beast that was Emily, I was really looking forward to see what the new screamer could do. Shame there wasn't any in this new song. I thought the very essence of Ladybaby was to have cute girls and brutal screams, so this makes me a little worried about the future of Ladybaby, hope it doesn't become just another generic idol group.

@@harrowkay1296the screams are more of a background mix track than a foreground vocal track; it’s a lot more noticeable on headphones and you have to be paying attention to catch it (unless you’re a real audiophile), but it’s certainly there. Example being the portion starting at 3:01. (Edited because I needed the timestamp. 😅 it’s not everyday you have to timestamp something like this.) Either way this is a far cry from the more run of the mill idol groups in the same agency such as iLife (which you may hear on TikTok sometimes).

I can guarantee as someone who’s followed HEROINES for a while now, LADYBABY are in good hands. They’ve struck the balance between quantity and quality pretty well.

While Rie herself has been silent on LB 4.0, Emily, Nana, and Fuka gave their public approval and Fuka attended the redebut show!

Early LADYBABY introduced me to other idol groups I likely never would have heard of w/o knowing Rei & Rie first!

UPDATE: One thing that really makes this lineup stand out compared to the others is they use social media a LOT more than every former member except maybe Nana. Even when active in Ladybaby; Rie, Rei, and Emily weren't super communicators. Fuka was about average but slowed down after quitting Warepuwa. I've seen some girls like Ei even reply to fans since, y'know, they don't _have_ many fans yet. Sakura talks about voice lessons. She's putting in the effort, y'all. ❤💜🤍💙💚
