What episodes of C.O.P.S. when it was re-branded as Cyber C.O.P.S. when repeats originally aired on CBS' "Kid TV" Saturday Morning cartoon lineup from March 27, 1993 to September 4, 1993?
Did you happen to catch the animation studio in the credits? I don't remember such a listing in the one episode I decided to keep ("The Case of the Crime Circus", for posterity when CyberCOPS aired on CBS back in 1993).
0:01 Ken Ryan said, "Cops". 0:02-0:05 Ken Ryan said, "Central Organization of Police Specialists". 0:04 Ken Ryan is closing the case of his police badge in his hand. 0:06 Ken Ryan appears. 0:07 Ken Ryan said, "Fighting crime." 0:08-0:09 Ken Ryan said, "In a future time." 0:10-0:14 Ken Ryan said, "Protecting Empire City from Big Boss and his gang of crooks." 1:13-1:15 Ken Ryan said, "It's crime fighting time."
Does anyone remember what the closing credits of the repackaged show CyberCOPS (1993 CBS reairings of the 1988-89 animated cartoon series) looked like?
Here's a toy tie-in series, based on a Hasbro property, that wasn't produced by Marvel Productions. C. O. P. S. (The acronym stands for Central Organization of Police Specialists) aired initially in syndication in 1988, produced by DIC and distributed through Claster Productions, which usually handled distribution for Marvel & Sunbow's series. C. O. P. S. was set in the year 2020, where a mobster code-named Big Boss has taken control of Empire City, leaving it up to a specialized team of officers. On the surface, it's a reworking of GI Joe, substituting cops & robbers for military characters. Like, was Hasbro really fooling anyone? Apparently not, as the show was cancelled after 1 season, only to return, as a weekly series of reruns on The Family Channel from 1990 to 1991, WGN from 1992 to 1993, under the name CyberCOPS on CBS on Saturday Mornings for 6 months from March 27 to September 4, 1993, presumably as a mid-season replacement. The name change was to avoid confusion with a certain Fox reality series that far outlasted the cartoon. 2 years later, It was rerun again on the USA Network's USA Cartoon Express under its original title from January 2 to March 9, 1995.

Channing Tatum/Hardtop
Meh. I like my choices better.
Bulletproof--The Rock (look at Bulletproof's "People's Eyebrow" at the end of the intro)
Longarm--Chris Evans (That was a good choice you made there.)
HardTop--Grant Gustin (The Flash from the CW series) Channing Tatum would be too old for the role.
Mainframe--Caley Cuoco
Bowser--Michael Jai White
Highway--Chris Pine
Bullseye--Karl Urban
Barricade--Tom Hardy
Mace--John Cena
Sundown--Steve Austin
Mirage--Trish Stratus
Maybe growing up a wrestling fan I just have wrestlers on the brain. Well moving along. For the Crooks:
Big Boss--Al Pacino (because of how good he was playing Big Boy Caprice in the Dick Tracy movie)
Squeeky Kleen--Joe Pantoliano
Berzerko--Jake Busey
Rock Crusher--Dave Bautista
Miss Demeanor--Brigitte Neilsen (She could snap little Tilda Swinton or Toni Collette in half like a dry twig.)
Turbo TuTone--Andrew Bryniarski (Zangief from the Street Fighter movie)
Dr. BadVibes--Matthew Gray Gubler (Spenser Reed from Criminal Minds)
Buttons McBoomBoom--Christopher Walken
Nightshade--Zoe Saldana (Halle Berry WAY too old. And who's that other one?)
Also: Patrick Stewart as Mayor Davis & Shannon Lee as Commissioner Highwater
BP Vest is voiced by Global's voice over man Ken Ryan
Michael Lake Wow you're right...I always thought it was Mark Dailey.
either way it's a white guy voicing a black guy... kind of odd when you think about it
@@rickkilimun5430 Yeah. I thought it was Michael Dorn, who played Worf on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine" who voiced Bulletproof.
Hey wait who was it that Nightshade had the romance with? Was it Mace or Hardtop?
Mace
What episodes of C.O.P.S. when it was re-branded as Cyber C.O.P.S. when repeats originally aired on CBS' "Kid TV" Saturday Morning cartoon lineup from March 27, 1993 to September 4, 1993?
Did you happen to catch the animation studio in the credits? I don't remember such a listing in the one episode I decided to keep ("The Case of the Crime Circus", for posterity when CyberCOPS aired on CBS back in 1993).
Yeah I know I just love cops cartoon intro theme song
+ ED Jones, well I've had a HUGE crush on Mace.
fighting crime in a future time
Jonas Welldone without Muslims 😂
1:24 "P. Gun Chic Chung" is actually Peter Chung, creator of Æon Flux.
ACAB -- except Bulletproof, he's cool
0:01 Ken Ryan said, "Cops".
0:02-0:05 Ken Ryan said, "Central Organization of Police Specialists".
0:04 Ken Ryan is closing the case of his police badge in his hand.
0:06 Ken Ryan appears.
0:07 Ken Ryan said, "Fighting crime."
0:08-0:09 Ken Ryan said, "In a future time."
0:10-0:14 Ken Ryan said, "Protecting Empire City from Big Boss and his gang of crooks."
1:13-1:15 Ken Ryan said,
"It's crime fighting time."
I used to love this shit.
Where's Buttons McBoomBoom??!!
If you are talking about the intro, he's in the same scene with Nightshade.
I'm talking about the roll call at the end.
Not all of Big Boss' minions were mentioned.
Yes, they were. All but Buttons McBoomBoom and Big Boss' bald manservant.
The bald man is Squeeky Kleen who is actually Big Boss's yes-man.
Reed Shelly wrote this C.O.P.S. animated show.
classic.. I used to have all the toys.
Turbo Two-Tone was a hipster before it was cool. Also, Mace always reminded me of Sgt. Tackleberry from Police Academy.
I worked for a security agency back then, and we all had a name of one of the C.O.P.S. I was "Bulletproof." Others swore I was "Longarm."
