I always thought this should've ran on the air for another season or two this was a really good cartoon
BomberMonkAssassin35 yes. i liked it too
Cyberpunk
With cancel culture I doubt it'd be possible . We're living in interesting times
It got 65 episodes, like most cartoons in the 80's, because that was the required amount to be allowed to sell the series for syndication to the other networks.
@@Piledriver86 It could have at least had another 65 episodes (would be a total of 130 episodes), especially as we’d have gotten to see two of the cops drivers (hence their Hasbro figure counterparts were boxed with vehicles) - Roadblock and Heavyweight, and especially (of the crooks) [and was one of the carded figures in the Hasbro COPS toy line] Nightmare (the android). We could even have seen an additional appearance of Automated Police Enforcement Systems (one of the cops, and one of the carded figures in the Hasbro COPS toy line), who, finally, would have spoken (as, for some reason, he’s mute in his one and only appearance - ‘The Case of the High Iron Hoods’).
"I DON'T NEED DRUGS, I GET MY KICKS FROM CRIME."
Goatmon that's my G!
What I love about this episode is the old saying: Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
Yeah, & "Life works in mysterious ways."
80's and 90's cartoons.
Kids these day have it so rough.
You got that right.
@@kellychuang8373Yeah, & it's not just drugs
@@danaabel1049 You got that right and now there's this lethal drug Fentanyl entering the scene and other illegal drugs getting cut with it and also just noticed an old series that I used to see Miami Vice just is expiring on TUBI still good series but trying to relive the old times of the 80s and 90s is rough and really got into trouble for this just like a lot of people now and the rising inflation, pandemic and bad weather and things just added to the misery it's not all living in sunshine and rainbows that's for sure.
While it is corny, I actually find it entertaining how much they're hammering in the anti-drug message! "See kids, even the dumb bad guys in this show are smart enough not to take drugs!" Got to love the late 80's!
Bravestarr took the anti-drug message in a dark bleak way
Which shows that they're not so stupid after all
Corny? 2022 is corny af
Anti drug campaign was huge in the 80s. Some of my first memories were anti drug commercials
Berserko did admit that he might have been a lamebrain at times, but he wasn't stupid.
He was into money, like his uncle Big Boss, not drugs.
20:22 - “For his crimes, Addictem was sentenced to life imprisoned. Several of Crystal Twyst addicts remain hospitalized or mental institutions. Drugs are dangerous. Please remember, if anyone offer you drugs, you got the choice: Say NO!!!”
Right you are! I say NO to drugs, because drugs kill!
Also, Big Boss is right about one thing he says, "Drugs Kills!"
Right!! Drugs do kill
Alcohol and cigarettes are DRUGS! SAY NO!!
@@cartoonliker7820 Even Big Boss knew where to draw the line.
He was no dummy.
I love the 80s , 90s cartons..im a old head...still in love. They had a lot of positive messages at the end of the series back then.
37 years old i am
Yep
The really heartfelt part of this ep. is when Big Boss almost cried when he saw Berserko in the hospital b/c of his accident. Even though Beserko might be an idiot, in this ep., Big Boss showed that he really does love his nephew.
Yup and you remember this show? i was 6 years old when this aired and taped every episode even this and this is one of my fave episodes.
Be glad Berserko lived! and Bravestarr and Captain Planet both did heartbreaking drug episodes where a kid in Bravestarr and a teenager in Captain Planet overdosed on drugs
@@Johnlindsey289 I have the whole series DVD set, & I was only 8 when this ep. came out. They also did a similar ep. in "Batman Beyond", but the kids didn't die. They were arrested instead.

He didn't do it intensionaly though
@@mattbartolovich8228 No, he didn't. He just provided the opportunity.
5:42 - My headcanon is that Big Boss had a close friend/family member who died from drugs, hence why he refuses to have anything to do with them.
Greatsaiyakirby His brother. Those two were like two peas in a pod. Until he got mixed up. He darted.
@@seanwhite6418 Actually, Big Boss is Beserko's uncle on his MOTHER'S side, not father's, but that's a good hypothesis there.
@@danaabel1049 that and a lot of old school Mafia guys took a dim view of drugs

I, for one, don't blame him for not going down that road.

Yes. COPS aired on Fox Kids during the Fall of 1988.
I was 6 when it first aired
@@Johnlindsey289 I was 5 going on 6.
I blame the parents. If you name you're kid "Addictem" what else are they going to grow up to be?
Even as a kid I thought this cartoon was wack. Big Boss' voice always cracked me up though
They don't make toons like this anymore. I'm afraid the 80s kids had the last best era of TV, especially when it came to cartoons.
mcbrideart they wouldn't air something like this now. pc parents wouldn't stand for the thought that their little darlings might be exposed to drugs, even in a glorified PSA about how bad they are for you.
bezoticallyyours83 Actually, I think parents today would find this incredibly heavy-handed and idiotic.
mcbrideart There are some surprisingly good animated shows running today. Look up Adventure Time and Steven Universe.
Loy Turns Adventure Time???? Are you serious? Just one of the worst cartoons ever made, characters lack depth and ability to connect. These 80s characters built a relationship with their audience…its something that todays characters really lack.
mcbrideart Actually, the show has built a magical post-apocalyptic world inspired by Mad Max and Dungeons and Dragons. Look up the episode "I Remember You". It is considered one of the best and most heart-wrenching episodes of the series.
kids today need cartoons like this one.

" I don't need drugs. I get my Kicks from CRIME " . Man, I watched this show every day... Its not as cool As I remember it when I was 8... but still watchable. this cartoon takes place 5 years from now... jesus... I feel old...
+MapleBalls I was 5 and half when it aired during Saturdays on Fox Kids way back in Autumn 1988. I enjoyed it. Alot.
My favorite episode is the one with Nightshade turning into good guy because she loves Mace.
It takes place now! It was a confusing message for sure. Crime is ok because it's not drugs.
I dont even mind that they pushed the anti-drug message here. Because it's still an excellent story-driven episode. Plus come on, team-ups are always cool. I remember BraveStarr having a similar episode, and a kid actually DIED from drugs in it. Powerful stuff.
Yes i was 5 when i saw that episode of Bravestarr when it aired and was sadden by the kid's death in it and i was 6 when this show aired and this is one of my fave episodes.
And Captain Planet i remember when i was 9 when it had Linka's cousin hopped on drugs from Vermin and Linka was hopped on it but her cousin died of overdose
Yeah, while some of these PSA episodes were pretty blatant I'm not gonna fault the message.
That one as well as the two He-man episodes didn't have or require a team-up either.

Yeah, you just gotta roll with it.
Even a crime boss like Big Boss cares about family.
Saddest parts of this episode:
Berzerko's accidental overdose
Big Boss at Berzerko's bedside
The addict robbing the jewelry store
And the best part: Addictem surrendering to the cops after Berzerko wanted to give him an ass whooping in his hospital room.

Even the boss had morals.
Its based on the fact that when the drug business began to take off in the 30s, the old crime bosses opposed it, because heavy drugs are dangerous and destroys the customer base, which is bad for business. Unfortunatly, their succesors did not share their dislike for drugs.
Henrik Magnusson yeah you are actually correct
Henrik Magnusson oh I didn't know that.
+Henrik Magnusson (Me) as a Big Boss wannabe: I also don't believe in drugs.
For years I paid my people extra so they wouldn't do that kind of

to keep it respectable. I don't want it near schools - I don't want it

traffic in the crack people - the junkies. They're animals anyway, so let
them lose their souls

"Drugs kill."
What do you think Buttons does with that gun in his chest, start races?

I could see it more out standard with how drugs cause a lot of collateral damage to innocent people. Some criminals are ultimately about making money, not hurting people who aren't trying to stop them.

The 80s/90s were an era when you, as a kid, could also get educated via tv shows... too bad it doesn't exist anymore ;-(
I remember those messages from arcade machines. It would show up on the game over screen, “Winners don’t do drugs!” I remember thinking “well I just lost so does this still apply to me?”
I’m 41 and remember things from 4 to now.
Eighties and nineties were great times to grow up
And there are people who suffer health issues, which were not their doing. Didn’t’t do drugs, did’t drink alcohol, didn’t smoke and still ended up with health issues. Me for example, I am a hydrocephalus patient and i have spasticity in my legs, which is kind of a mild form of cerebral palsy. Both of these conditions are congenital. I am a teetotaler. No drinking, no smoking, no drugs. Smoking, drinking, and taking drugs are choices that one makes.
I prefer tea myself. So I guess that would make me a ""tea"-"totaler"", too, huh?? Get it?? LOL!!!
5:56 oh wow..this quite rare..in all my years experiencing cartoons as a kid, this is FIRST, i've seen a kid show illustrate a main villain refusing to offer drugs.
Gotta admire the reverse physiology to get the delinquent kids to wise up.
It’s based on real life mafia bosses like Al Capone who refused to sell drugs as they had codes of honor
In Saturday Morning Cartoon Land, the lowest crime is selling drugs.
In real life, it's committing murder.
Dont be silly, no one DIES in old cartoons, thats why bullets dont exist
Henrik Magnusson
That is so true.
This propaganda piece was made during the 80s when the drug war was ramping up. 30 years and untold billions spent later, and the fact that it's still ongoing tells you how horribly it has failed. Humans have always loved drugs and all the propaganda and mandatory sentences in the world will never change that fact.
Death Metal,
Well there’s few limits to how cruel humans can be when they apply themselves to Godlessness. Rape is kind of unimaginative. Think of all the shit Vlad the Impaler did. He’d have people impaled on stakes from their anus through their mouth, avoiding important organs so they’d take a long time to die, and post them out in the sun until they expired. He’d also cook up children and force their parents to eat them.
The catholic inquisition comes to mind too. They had all manner of almost unthinkable torture devices they’d use on people; Iron maidens, the rack, that wheel thing they’d strap people too.
I’m not trying to be morbid or edgy. I’m just saying there are levels of evil out there that never cross the minds of normal humans beings. I’m thankful I live in a place and time where such deeds can’t be paraded around in broad daylight without society coming against it. The world still has some good left in it.
+Aegis
_"Well there’s few limits to how cruel humans can be when they apply themselves to Godlessness."_
A rather asinine statement, considering that more people have died for the name of "God" than for any other reason. The Abrahamic religions are especially guilty for bringing out the worst in humanity. Just look at the state of things in the US because of Christian dogma, and look at the shit that goes on in the Middle-East because of Islamic dogma.
Consider all the crimes against humanity because an old book sanctioned such actions. ...so-called "holy crusades", unjust witch hunts, and the dehumanization of women, homosexuals and trans people.
God is the bane of humanity.
Ahh, the 80s with its heavy-handed anti-drug messages. The character of Addictem, both in name and appearance, seems to have stumbled right out of a Dick Tracy strip.
It is kind of funny that Big Boss has issues with drug dealing, considering the other crimes he does. But then again, I think it did fit the old Mafia code back in the day.
+Loy Turns Amen to that!
+Loy Turns to be fair, Don Corleone in "the Godfather" was against drugpeddling as well. It fits this show that it actually had a crime lord that refused to deal with drugs. It literally was "dirty business"
+Loy Turns I remember this show. It used to air on Fox Kids during 1988. It was silly, lighthearted, charming with likable characters both good and bad.
I also remember this episode, very poignant to see criminal decency.
+Tornado1994 I belive fox kids came on 1992
Corey Levine Actually it started in 1988 unamed, but didn't get the "Fox Kids" moniker until 1990.

Addictem looks like Gary Busey.
Only in a children's show would selling drugs be considered the worst crime ever.
1 of my fav eps. Shows even evil has its standards. Those 2 women who repeated adictum trying to sell them drugs and Berserko helped too. Seems Addictum is more evil than Big Boss, his crimes are more toward theft.
Well, like Bulletproof said, "Though all crimes are bad, some are worse than others."
And like Long-Arm said, "And some you can protect yourself from just by saying "NO"!!!"
To anyone who thinks its odd that Big Boss complains about drugs killing, Sure, he won;'t shed a tear if his enemies get killed, but Big Boss has never once sanctioned killing innocent people.
Well, as totally absurd & obscure as this may sound, it's actually strangely refreshing to know that there are some lines even HE & his CROOKS won't cross over.
I like how the crooks spray the sleep gas on security but weren't affected themselves. I guess they calculated for wind resistance accurately to not bother wearing masks.
I missed this episode back in the day- thanks for uploading! Gotta say I LOLed when Berserko absorbed the drugs; it was played for laughs a *bit* blatantly that scene... :/
White it may come off as weird that the crime boss who once sent thugs to kill a hospitalized cop to be against drugs, I figure it makes an odd sort of sense. It's one thing to kill someone face to face or to send someone to do it. Even if it's with giant robot arms or some crazy murder machine it's done with an explicit purpose. Drugs however kill and destroy indirectly, often slowly and painfully. Rotting the body and mind until the person is like a shattered glass bottle barely able to hold together and harmful to everything and everyone around them.
It's one thing to kill someone, it's another to kill who they are.
Even if it may be a weird double standard and largely done out because of the anti-drug movement of the 80s, I feel it was still a good writing choice. Seeing Big Boss have limits to what he will stoop too and seeing him genuinely concerned for his otherwise idiotic relative when he was hospitalized because of drugs was very humanizing.
Man, props to Addictem. That man was singlehandedly moving enough crystal twist to dramatically spike drug-related arrests to the point of overwhelming the pigs
lmao!!!!!!!!!
Man, this takes me back.
Thanks for the memory.
This show is good. Now I want to see the uncut rated R version.

One of my fave episodes! even Big Boss who maybe a criminal but he's not low to sell drugs as even other mob bosses aren't stooping low too for drug selling
BB is an old fashion crime boss. selling drugs would be like selling chemical weapons which can cause an epidemic to empire city. plus selling drugs means getting involved in the violent war between drug dealers and the federal government. so he played wisely in this situation
Even real life crime bosses like Al Capone refused to sell drugs
It will be nice that both C.O.P.S. and RoboCop teamed up!
bulletproof was right we can't stop people from being stupid they have to do that themselves.
Indeed, b/c even the C.O.P.S. can't truly save people. In fact, not even the greatest superheroes in the world possess that kind of power. All that ANY of us can truly do is provide people w/ choices & opportunities. As for the rest, that's entirely up to them.
Damn. That robot dog is tenacious.
Good message to the people 🤑🗽🌍🚔📠
Bulletproof: "Its true that crime is bad, some crimes are worse"
Um.... in the pilot they outright tried to murder you. Even tried to assassinate you in your hospitalbed.
I like this so , much. Especially the voice of big boss "neyeah... see"
Big Boss' voice is based on that of an actor called Edward G. Robinson, who was known for playing tough guys in gangster movies.
"In my time I've committed many crimes! i want to make money in the worst way. But *drugs* are where I draw the line *creep*! *Drugs KILL!*"
Is that why he has a henchman with a cannon sized machine gun embedded in his torso? Just to scare cops? Not kill them? Cartoon morals... meh. -_-
+V Guyver Yeah !!! that really doesn't make any sense what so ever. When you have members of your gang carrying weapons, but drugs kill. I know right ! what a serious contradictions. Because what do you think guns will do when fired...
Businesswise Big Boss probably preferred his clients alive, so they could pay him more.
Somehow it was said somewhere in the comics and his filecard, I think, that Button McBoomboom had a principle to never kill. Even if he is the one who probably looks the deadliest of the group. His machine guns are just to kill bugs. And maybe drug dealers.
not to mention they literally tried to assassinate Bulletproof XD... would have been slightly better if it turned into "Drugs kill kids!". But hey, cant be helped. Still a solid episode.
@@MrSniperfox29 Well, you gotta admit 1 thing. For him & his crooks, it's strangely refreshing to know that there are some lines even they won't cross.
Young girl reporting a drug dealer to the police. You know, just like in real life!
One of my favorite cartoons back then. Classic!!
You know the issue that I have with this episode? It's not the anti-drug message; it's actually how if you look at it Addictum's actions are in a way not his fault. Yes, he is still a crook for selling drugs but it's Bezerko's fault for falling into his crate which Addictum didn't want to happen and you can see by his reaction he never intended Berserko to even get such an overdose. In a way, this makes Addictum a 'victim of circumstance' even though he's still doing something illegal. Everything in that scene happened by chance and bad luck and makes it feel like Addictim wasn't pushed hard enough as an actual and DANGEROUS crook. Everyone just happens to hate what he peddles, he looks creepy as hell but in the end he's the least threatening baddie the series has had and that's because he doesn't really do enough.
I kind of wish that Addictum had done something a little more sinister after Big Boss had rejected him, something that would still result in Berzerko getting an OD and Boss having to team up with the COPS in order to get Addictium. Like maybe after BB rejects him he actually does set something up and make it look like Berzerko was the one who took the drug by choice only for BB to find out that Addictum had slipped it to his nephew with an intention to actually make him OD in revenge for BB not seeing him as a decent Crook and denying him money. BB would still have a good reason for the COPS to go after Addictum and his capture would feel a lot more deserved.

once you get into a bad habit like drugs, it is very hard to break that habit and that is where all other bad habits come into the picture also lying, cheating, stealing etc...
There is an evil spell inside every dangerous drug that once taken, the addict will keep craving more blindly until they die without any clue what is happening.
True, but I wouldn't try to judge them too harshly, b/c even w/ the best intentions, it's extremely difficult, but not "impossible", to change a lifetime of bad habits.
Without Any Problem
Ahhh yes. One of my favorite cartoons. I haven't seen this in awhile. Far more better than today's moderate. Now why do they don't put this on boomerang?
I’m aware of another show that should be put on Boomerang - James Bond Jr. (A - in English, and B - without editing out scenes, hence making them ‘uncut episodes’; there’s no way episodes would have audio going funny, where we could finally see a better sound quality version of the episode ‘Northern Lights’) [it would be good to see the uncut / unedited version, and, needless to say, in English, of ‘Danger Train’]. Both episodes feature Scumlord, the main villain, who I bet fans of James Bond Jr. even wish Hasbro made a figure of.
Fortunately, I’ve seen him in all his other episode appearances - ‘the Beginning’, ‘Location - Danger’, ‘Mindfield’, ‘Avalanche Run’, ‘Barbella’s Big Attraction’, ‘Invaders from SCUM’, ‘Catching the Wave’ and ‘the Thing in the Ice’, and I’ve seen him in the James Bond Jr. comic ‘Homeward Bound’.

I think in better detail big boss is a criminal but even some criminals have lines they dont cross, "some" in his and is organisation case they, heist, Rob, steel catch a few cops in the crossfire, so when he means drugs kills, "he means drugs kill kids" so therefore doesn't want his organisation to be selling to dealers that sell to kids and have their blood on his hands, like as said with crossing lines. This episode was good lighter than the bravestarr drug episode thou.
What about the Captain Planet episode with verminous scum selling drugs to linkas cousin and he slips them into linka’s food as she becomes a junkie and her cousin dies from overdose?

Yeah, otherwise, they'll have a serious bone to pick. No pun intended.
Blitz, Empire City's first cyber-dog. The toy file card calls him a K-9000.
Why are drug dealers in cartoons always depicted as ghoulish looking?
+Drixenol86 case drug dealers are evil monsters in heart the ugly look is there true face inside them
no hes not that good looking
+Mauricio Mesa The Cryptkeeper is handsome compared to this guy.
tha's right in more weys then one
case its the faces of evil in there heart and souls
This episode was kind of scary. I can’t understand how people can get hooked on to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes all because of peer pressure or bad things that happen in family like divorce, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and then end up having to go to counseling or rehab to kick such habits only to fall of wagon and get right back into the habit again. I guess to cover up or mask the pain that they have been through.
Sometimes, that is the trigger. In fact, there was once a time when I almost felt like falling into that same hole.
So let me get this straight. It took an entire police force of specialists, as well as an entire crime family, to take down one single drug dealer who has no special gadgets, abilities and only fled on foot? Seems reasonable. XD
Well, from the cops & crooks working together as a team, you know that old saying: "Keep your friends close, & your enemies closer."
@@danaabel1049 Reagan: Trust, but verify.
This was before modern surveillance plus he was sticking to back alleys and the like combined with everyone being doped outta their mind means they couldn't really get a description.
@@rjp3837 But crazy thing is that this was meant to be like a futuristic city.
@datemasamune2904 fair point but at the same time they had no idea where he was mostly working out of so they couldn't requisition surveillance info.
If only mankind could watch these anti-drug episodes from long ago and realize where their modern drug addiction problems are getting them, an early grave is where they will be.
Even Al Capone in real life refused to sell drugs
Willem Dafoe made a cameo in COPS?
I wish Netflix can adapt this cartoon series into live action movie or series, or reboot this cartoon as well with more subjects, mature and dark matters like (including involvement of characters, their families and friends) :
Gang war (with brotherhood, Romeo and Juliet tragedy elements),
Siblings, relative or friends in opposite of law (reference to A Better Tomorrow),
Corruption and bribery (politicians, business crimes, sports fixing),
Undercover (take reference of The Departed, Hard Boiled, Infernal Affairs and Face/Off),
Terrorism (hostage situation, bombing, blackmail, sabotage),
Serial killer (reference to Joker, Scream),
Loan shark,
Cyber crime (hacking, scamming, cheating, reference to No More Bet),
Police under attack in criminal building or slum (reference on The Raid and Dredd) ,
Station under attack (reference on Assault Of Precinct 13),
Human trafficking (prostitution, human organs),
Illegal activities (street racing, underground fighting, underground gambling),
Illegal immigration,
Assassination or random shooting (reference on La Femme Nikita, Day Of The Jackal or The Killer),
Smuggling (drugs, firearms),
Counterfeit trading (Piracy),
Street Kids Violence,
Riot or hooligans,
Cults,
Vigilante.
Sometimes I have crazy ideas of having COPS crossover with the following:
Robocop, Judge Dredd, Batman Of The Future, Iron Man, Terminator, Predator, Ghost In The Shell or any cyberpunk franchise.
There are certain crimes I can tolerate like robbery. But I despise Drugs!!!!
Robbery is a clean crime to criminals but drugs is a dirty crime
Big boss looks like comedian Louie Anderson.LoL
Why does Big Boss care so much that drugs kill yet he has dead police officer badges tied to his jacket? Doesn’t make any sense.
Eighties cartoon logic, my friend.
Because drug-induced death is obviously way worse than any other kind of crime 🤷♂️
I wish they'd done more episodes like this
I know exactly how you feel - so do I, rather than ‘The Case of the Visiting Mother’ and especially ‘The Case of the Lost Boss’, when it was better, in this episode, to see even the crooks know what can kill you, hence side with the cops; what’s worse is ‘The Case of the Lost Boss’ even came *after* this episode. This is like two episodes of the 80s G1 Transformers cartoon - the movie and thereafter, in season 3’s ‘Ghost in the Machine’, when the Decepticons showed concern about the Autobots, regarding Unicron, who not even the Decepticons were safe from, and the G.I. Joe episode ‘The Greatest Evil’, when, likewise, even Cobra is aware that taking drugs can be fatal, hence saw eye to eye with G.I. Joe (I do think of the Headman being worse even than the Transylvania Pet Shop characters, as there could have been an anti-drug themed episode of said show, which could even have been based on Transylvania’s zero tolerance policy on drug dealing in real life).
These mysteries, about this show, are still yet to be unsolved (and, unfortunately, might never be solved):
why (of the cops, and was a carded figure, in the Hasbro toy line) Automated Police Enforcement Systems (whose lone appearance is in the episode ‘The Case of the High Iron Hoods’) never has lines
why (another two of the cops, but both drivers, hence boxed in the Hasbro toy line, with vehicles) Roadblock and Heavyweight were omitted from the cartoon (meaning only two of the cops, who were drivers, hence boxed in the Hasbro toy line, with vehicles - Bullseye and Hardtop - were in the cartoon) [the crooks only had one driver, hence was boxed with a vehicle, in the Hasbro toy line - Turbo Tu-Tone]
why Hasbro didn’t make a figure of (of the crooks) Squeeky Kleen, when he was a male (it’s understandable for Hasbro not to have made - two of the cops - Mainframe and Mirage, and two of the crooks - Miss Demeanour and Nightshade, when Hasbro didn’t want female figures in a boy’s toy line, but this issue leads to another mystery - of course, another one that might never be solved - in the G.I. Joe toy line, Hasbro made Scarlet, Cover Girl, the Baroness, Lady Jaye, Zarana and the last female - Jinx, Mattel made Teela, in the MOTU toy line, and LJN made Cheetara, in the ThunderCats toy line) [I’m aware Cover Girl was a driver, hence boxed with a vehicle, and I like how Hasbro made her with short red hair]
why (yet another of the cops, and was a carded figure, in the Hasbro toy line) the figure of Taser had a moustache, when, in his only speaking role - ‘The Case of Big Boss’ Big Switch’, he was clean shaven
most of all, why (one of the crooks, and was a carded figure, in the Hasbro toy line) Nightmare (the android) was left out of the cartoon
I’m aware what it was like, for fans of this show, that they couldn’t have the entire team of the cops, and the entire team of the crooks.
So, no murder or rape are the worst crime, drugs are the worst? this is ridiculous
@Robert Kenny
It's not Spawn the animated series
You do realize this is a children's show.
Murder and rape, as well as racism, and drug dealing, are four of the worst crimes.
20:30 drugs are dangerous please remember if anyone offers you drugs you have the choice say no.
Bulletproof: That includes alcohol and cigarettes as they too are drugs. SAY NO.
One thing, about the dealers, its never just one lone creep selling in an entire city, its a syndicate of manufacturers, suppliers, distributors dealers and look outs, and just saying no to drugs may not work, some of these dealers can get agressive or violent at times, and wont take no for an answer...
Lol, this episode was just another anti drug commercial.
Bravestarr did the antidrug theme in a bleak way which feels realistic and had the balls to kill off a young junkie to teach kids lessons not to mess with drugs or you will end up like the junkie
@@Johnlindsey289 I saw that brevestarr episode and it was sad for a kid to die from drugs. 😥
15:13 longarm was right it was the right thing to tell police officer. if somebody you don't know offers you drugs just say no and tell a police officer.
NO! Go tell! Okay that's what we were taught to do if a stranger tries to do something bad to you but hey, this counts too right?
And weirdly enough, the same even goes for somebody you DO know
I never heard of this cartoon before wow..well im about to watch it hope I like it..
Too bad there was no crossover with other cartoons for this show in the 80s. It would have been cool if Robocop made a guest appearance on this show or Batman Beyond.
Except Robocop animation was owned by marvel at the time, maybe GI Joe since DIC aquired GI Joe in 1988
Actually, there was an anti-drug PSA ep. in the 1st season of "Batman Beyond", w/ those "Slappers". Remember?? I think the ep. was called: "The Winning Edge", featuring Bane.
This scared the fuck out of me as a child.
