We got the Kansai thru pass for our four day stay in Osaka (including Nara and Kyoto) and the Subway pass for our four day stay in Tokyo after. We got to all of the tourist spots on our itinerary using only those two passes. We absolutely loved traveling around Japan using only trains and then walking in between!
We have a 3-day itinerary for Kobe, Nara, Kyoto and we're planning on getting the JR kansai mini pass. It's not gonna cover all the rides that we're gonna take and it still super worth it.
Hi 👋 tptrvlr, shortcut ko lang 😊 just stumbled your travel video. Watching from DFW Texas USA. I just want to know if you can share some info about shinkansen train. Does it really need to be booked in advance, or it can be purchase upon arrival in Japan, esp if there's a long hour layover in Japan. Then if it's book ahead, what if there's a flight cancelation or delayed. flight what happen to the bullet train booked ticket then? Canceled or need to reschedule/re-book upon arrival?
Hi, I really enjoyed your video. Question: What are your thoughts about the 7 days JR -West All Area Pass? Is that a good pass between Osaka and Fukuoka itineraries? Thanks!
Hi Leslie! We haven't tried using NIMOCA outside Kyushu, but ang alam po namin, kasama ang NIMOCA sa Nationwide Mutual Usage Service dati, which means it should work nationwide basta may IC card reader, including Osaka.
