Love RH! Thanks for the tour. When going for the RH vibe these are the things I’ve learned in attempting to create the RH look: 1. Scale 2. Color scheme - super neutral, super cohesive but light and airy or moody and dark. 3. Lighting 4. Texture 5. Contrast
Valentina, I didn't know what RH pieces and rooms looked like, thank you so so so much for taking us there, so many ideas, I love you're channel so very much, truly!!!!! You are so much fun to do things with, as many of your subscriber I feel a soul connection with you and Jack is always awesome to have with you too, this time we even got to go with your oldest son, that was great!!!!! I loved so many things at RH like the art all the way up to the ceiling all in the same frames, also the kids rooms with the kind of beautiful fabric from floor to ceiling, gorgeous!!!!! I love the beautiful chandeliers, the cool chairs, omg I love so many pieces!!!!!! Thank you again, I'm learning so much and so much of what I love and my inner creativity and inner artist, it makes me excited about life and a deep desire to express my love and taste!!!!!
I loved this tour! In fact, the young people floor was my favorite,,! And I’m 63! I could totally do a lot of those styles in my house! I don’t live near this store so I appreciate the tour more than you know! Also you did it perfectly to be able to see so much and yet not drag out boring, thank you so much for your time and sharing this! I also love Z Gallery, hint hint....... West Elm.......
RH to me is.... all about the gorgeous lighting , mirrors and tone on tone texture . It’s beautiful but feels cold. I actually gravitated to the kids rooms ! I enjoy the lightness and channeling my inner child and you can’t forget subtle color . Love this video!
I just purchased the Arles dining table from RH outlet and I was thinking about visiting Rh showroom to see how they styled it with seating and low and behold I spotted it in your video (12:16). And what's more interesting is my bar stools have a chrome base and I see the chairs they pair the table with do as well. Awesome!
Please don't feel that your content is like others. Its still unique and different even if your speaking about the same brand. Your doing a amazing job keep going
Restoration Hardware is so amazing, and their galleries are truly remarkable. I finally understood why RH’s stock price was so high after viewing their promo videos on RUclips. I especially love the warmth of their gilt filigree mirrors within a modern neutral setting. Thank you so much for sharing!
This was soo helpful. I’ve had dark taupe on my walls for years. I love the warmth and how good art and furniture look with it. I’ve been batting around in my head to go white walls since that seems to be such a trend and many of my fiends have that in their home. You’ve helped me decide to stay with what I have, it makes my home cozy and I just love it....which should really be what drives my decisions. Thanks♥️
yes, the taupe walls!! White is so trendy, but when I see it in person, it drowns out decor/art and rest of the furniture in whatever room. The Columbus Ohio RH has a few white rooms and it just throws off the overall vibe of the concept since its sooo bright and the lighting they use is so warm. Love the taupe
We went on our 3rd date to Restoration Hardware almost 7 years ago and just bought our first home in September. I think we may need to have a date and pick a special treat for our home. Thank you for bringing some great memories back and new ideas!
That was a great tour, thank you! I love those wood/glass display cabinets. Every time I see one on Pinterest no matter what the colour, they look awesome. I’m not into taupe but the values, contrast in shapes, styles and textures they’ve use make the rooms just stunning and timeless, and that’s what I’m hoping to apply as time goes by. You’re so lucky to have great decor shops in the US.
I really enjoyed your tour. Thank you for taking the time to show us the beautiful showroom, but most of all, thank you for sharing the beautiful sunset.
Thanks for taking us along! You're a great tour guide. Although I love a lot of their pieces, most of these showrooms reminded me of a luxury hotel versus a cozy home. I guess I feel that they lack warmth and character, but I know that's more of a personal thing that you can add in your own home after buying the pieces. Looking forward to seeing the upcoming changes you have planned as well.
Love you video!! I’ve been umming ahhhing about biting the bullet and buying the bed I’ve always wanted at RH and I finally did it!!!! Thank you for your reassurance to get what we want. Life IS too short. My new bed is the first bed that is in your video. I took it as a sign to move forward. Thank you Valentina!! 💕
This trip was soooo fun...just had a good time... who wouldn't! Rh is so beautiful... helps you stay on track with your ideas, in your decorating ... loved it, so calming❤
Ohhh! I loved that! I feel so calm, inspired, energised, jealous.....all of the above I live in a small 2 bed house in England, Abbots Langley, but o will find a way to get some of that feeling into my home, thank you, always a pleasure to watch you x
I love small homes, actually. I think it requires more creativity to decorate a small space. I sold my large home and moved into a small ranch house last year...I would never in a million years want to move back to that big house.
Reeeeeeally enjoyed this Valentina. Thank you❤️. So many beautiful things in that shop. I am European and really enjoyed seeing what America has . Your vids are always such fun and content is awesome.
I really enjoyed this video with your commentary. It made me rethink my entire idea of what I thought I wanted my home to look like to how I want my home to feel. Thank you for sharing!
Many many many thanks Valentina! I really appreciate tour through Restoration Hardware. Please make more videos like this. Regards to you, your husband and beautiful son from the Nederlands.
You’ve helped me be okay with my style and this was a treat. I’ve shopped RH but their pieces are huge and I’m a lil’ gal like you. It’s been 40 yrs. and I have just figured my style to be alchemy where color is mute but finishes and textures are king. Definitely adding some greenery and soft things are key. Scale is the biggest problem for me now.
Your RH video was so well done. I loved it. I thought RH was only for very modern items. Loved that they had pieces for various rooms. Please show more of these. Thx especially for reminding us that life is short so enjoy the pieces you have. ❤
Thanks for taking us along the RH tour! When you’ve been cooped up at home for a month because of a stay at home order, taking us along these tours with you, really does help. Hope to see more tours!!
I was super excited when you said RH!! Love the collected look that RH has. Our RH outlet just went out of business unfortunately in ARKANSAS. Thanks for filming your shopping trip! So fun
Love this vibe. Interesting and very inspirational. I love a sleek but traditional style and the taupe is beautiful, the perfect backdrop. Great content, thank you xx
Thanks for the shopping tour as many of us are under lockdown. It’s interesting that you showed us the kids rooms because personally I love the colour combinations of kids rooms as their elements and colours are so inviting. Even the way the stylist place the furniture gives me ideas such as on other stores like Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, etc.
I’d love to see you design a “restoration hardware room” the way you would do it. I didn’t think the modern rooms were cold per se, just lacking greenery and pillows.
@@HouseofValentina It started as a hardware store then they started selling furniture and home decor that was similar to PB. I think around 2010 RH decided to go in a different direction aesthetically, to a higher end gallery look.
Yes that was a lot of fun seeing how I've never been a Restoration hardware before I love the styles I loved everything about it all the different styles it was just beautiful and the sunset too
After seeing all the chandeliers so low into the rooms, I asked my husband to extend ours down and wow what a difference it made! Much more of an impact! Ours isn't as big and spectacular as these but lowering it really gave it much more of a wow factor! Thanks for such a fun tour of RH! One of my favorite stores.
Does anybody besides me remember when restoration hardware just had knobs and drawer pulls? Some curtain rods and curtains. A few maps and pictures and vintage knicknacks? They had the cool Christmas music cds, and stocking stuffers. Things really changed.
ok.... LOVING a few of the chandeliers! The large round one is dreamy! Definitely on my list for my larger family room. Also may have an idea for stacked art ;) Thank you!

Wow. I LOVED your RH tour. It was so informative. I also felt like I was shopping with friends who share my passion for design. 😆Thank you for all of your amazing content.
I have subscribed to your channel, so fantastic. I noted that Restoration Hardware and you and your husband mix black framed prints and gold framed prints, which seems to balance a room with a black palette. Thank you for the tour, it was fantastic. All our shops in Toronto Canada have been locked down and not open since first part of November, so thank you for this, so interesting.
Well, everyone has used all the good words of delight and inspiration. I only have one. OMG. Yes more please, loved it, wish this company was in France 😁❤
