    Another excellent lesson, 80- 100 grit sand paper works really well for wave sparkle, go easy though and do it only at the end

    Excellent tutorial, really enjoyed it. Worth bearing in mind the colour of the paper-' high white' paper gives an added brightness.

    Excellent material for making stencils - are old, no longer needed, X-ray film. Sturdy, but easy to cut.

      @LizChadertonArt  2 года назад +1

      luckily I haven’t got old X-rays as I’ve never broken anything 😂 great idea though

      @@LizChadertonArt So glad you've not broken bones. I've had a forearm and a hand. Maybe you could scrounge some from relatives or friends. [but NOT while they're still in traction]. 🤣 Haha. All the best. from Oz

    I'm curious.. are Mrs. Moo's whiskers done with masking fluid??😊

    • @LizChadertonArt
      @LizChadertonArt  3 года назад

      Ooh, I never answered that, did I? Most done by painting round and a few added at the end with gouache. I avoid masking if I possibly can! Gold star for observation 😂

    Not sure it would count as a 9th way, or if it would go as pen: white colour pencil, or even better, a soft watercolour pencil can work well on the rough coloured ground. Not terribly crisp, though.

    • @LizChadertonArt
      @LizChadertonArt  3 года назад

      You are right and white pastel pencil can be good too. My watercolour pencils aren’t that opaque….

  • @sueallen952

    It's pronounced as Gwash not gooache

    • @LizChadertonArt
      @LizChadertonArt  2 года назад +2

      I don’t like the pronunciation Gwarsh and it really confuses beginners, so I’m sticking with goo-ash 😃
