What can be prescribed by a dermtologist for a burn on the face from tretinoin? I accidentally combined it with something else and got a burn. Trying to use something that will help with hyperpigmentation that is there now. I know there's ointments and creams, but what would be good rx for a mild burn and scar care. I'm a medium light Hispanic skin.

Like you mentioned, slugging is not recommended with it. But what about the day after when you're not using trett? Are there things throughout the week? On the days you're not using that ingredient that can help your skin tolerate it better?

So you are probably experiencing a damaged skin barrier, let me help u, so first wash it it’s a gentle HYDRATING face wash, cereve and laroche poussay has one. Next apply a good moisturizer! Something with ceramides/peptides/ even centella can help! Allow that layer to dry down, THEN ADD ANOTHER layer of moisturizer! Let that dry down a bit and THEN put HALF than a pea sized about of the tret on your skin. Let it dry down, AND YET AGAIN another layer of moisturizer! And your all done! U should see some improvements from that
