Wow I have a gel press and I'm going to do this and have fun....Love those rich backgrounds...all you need now is a bold sentiment or what ever and end up with a bold artistic card with so much going on in the background....a real winner...love it....thanks Jennifer for all the inspiration....this pandemic is driving me crazy...I'm more or less housebound now and going nuts...ha ha ha ha ha...your videos are a real blessing for me...at 88 they don't want me to run around in public so I'm homebound and your video's are a blessing for me...I know there are others who feel the same way.........Bless you always for all you do for all of us............pat

I am amazed, many times speechless, at what you do with stamps, ink and die cuts - all of which are common to most card makers. But Jelli plates are new to many of us. I wonder if peeps understand what we are seeing! This like watching when MJ put the moonwalk in the 1st dance routine, when Aristotle realized gravity, when I typed 'www' back in 97 and my computer "found stuff".
Oh, the places, you will go and us too cause we are riding shotgun. I cant wait to see the new techniques you come up with.

Yes Jennifer, YOU are the EXPERT! You are the "go to" for every card maker. You have 409K Subs. I don't know of any other card maker that has that many subs. So, YES, you are the EXPERT that we all go to. And, THANK YOU, for all you do for us. xo 🧡🤗

That’s what I think too. I come up with ideas on my own and feel lots of uncertainty. Like is this a legitimate technique or not, you know? But if I see Jennifer do the same technique, then I feel like it’s legit. I was that way with stacking die cuts for sure. Didn’t feel certain till I saw Jennifer doing it.
This might be an issue in my life. I always want an “expert” to validate my choices and experiences. Sigh.

Dang it! I knew I'd need a gel press eventually! I love that you showed it with ink (duh! why didn't I think of that!) because my main reason for not getting into gel press is that I didn't want to buy mooooorrrrrreeeee supplies! This method is quick, which is right up my alley! Thanks for the inspiration, you're amazing.

My very best regards and compliments to you Jen! I know that there are sooooo many talented people out there and I have subscribed to just 2 others, but in all honesty, you are my favorite. Your card style is exactly what I like and I didn't realize it until I watched a ton of your videos. This video is next in line as soon as I can find time. LOL But the most important thing I learned from you was on your old room tour. You said, determine what kind of crafter or artist you are. Do you like to see everything you have or do you like it all closed up and hidden. BOOM! I finally knew what was driving me crazy about my extremely well organized stamp room. I am OCD when it comes to organizing, but I hated my room. And the same applies, I realize now, to card making. I make great cards, others love them, but I have never been like, "that's it!" Now I know why. It is a particular style. Just like I want all of my stamp room supplies tucked away as well as organized, I love the simple look to the cards. It's not simple we all know that! But it is a very clean look. You hardly use colored cardstock and when you said that on the room tour video I never got that out of my head. I have a ton! So, I've learned a lot about what kind of card maker I am and why I was always frustrated. I hope to be able to re-do my room in the year ahead. It is still what I started out with as a single mom in her 30's and I'm now 54. It was what I could afford and temporary. Now I know what I want thanks to you and its only growing, it's never going to be temporary. LOL So, thank you for helping me in a way you probably never expected to. I also know how to make my cards more appealing to myself. Thank you for all you do. It's more than you imagined!!! XO God Bless. Denise

These cards really do have a "touch me" look to them. I just might give gel press techniques a try. I do not own one, but if I remember they are inexpensive and almost everyone carries them. With all of the supplies I already own, this could be an entire Saturday creating with all the inks, stencils & paper in my stash. I really like narwhal card and all things beachy. I could create a lot of underwater backgrounds to go with all my fishes. Yes, an entire Saturday. Thanks for the inspiration!
