  • The reigning bestseller of open world racing games is one that needs no introduction. Forza Horizon 5 is one of the most important games within the past few years of my life. Not only has Forza horizon been an essential part of my childhood, but plays a tremendous role in what lead this RUclips channel to gain a following in the first place, leading any successors to inherently be under the keen and critical eyes of myself and the community we’ve built around them. Forza Horizon 5 is the most devisive title in the series, and for good reason. In this in-depth critique, join myself, Moses alongside my best friend and co-host Serp joined by a fleet of friends and community members as we undergo, the ultimate Forza Horizon 5 critique.

My biggest complaint is that the roads keep getting wider, longer, and more obstacles become breakable. You almost never have to lift off the throttle in anything under A class anymore because it's all designed to be easy in X class

      that makes sense!

Issue is: that's far from the truth and realistic road size results in another problem. Motorfest.. the roads are WAY too thin for how unresponsive the controls are. In Forza it's near impossible to do a stint without hitting a sign or pole along the way because that's where the best line is. If roads were thinner itd be more of a bumper car fest single player and online than Forza already is

    • @existentialselkath1264
      @existentialselkath1264 10 месяцев назад +82

@@XxWarmancxX I haven't played Motorfest specifically because what I've seen looks far too wide.
Forza has an incredible handing model, it can easily deal with thinner roads, and I've made event labs that do just that. The reason you still hit things is because they're so long that you end up going so fast, so when the occasional 90° turn comes along it's a lot harder to nail it.
Besides, you only really struggle to avoid things in S2 and X class. The two top classes in the game. They SHOULD be a challenge to drive, but making the roads so accommodating to them results in A and even S1 feeling really slow.
If a map is designed for A or S1, it makes slower cars feel as fast as they are, and hypercars as monstrous as they should be

The wide roads of motorfest killed it for me too. No real struggle and designed to be easy to stay in the lane. Horizon 5 have some narrow roads, wich are great, but the wide ones are twice the width of a normal road irl. Its always a good time playing the narrower roads in Assetto, wrc and dirt rally. More adrenaline and sense of speed. Just hope the open world games can have more difficult roads. And where is the traffic? Just a few cars here and there..

It is Sadly very difficult to do a Story in Horizon now, as Microsoft *Mandated* a PEGI 3/ESRB E Rating for all Future Forza Games back in 2019, it needs a very Careful Balance of the Needs of a Dark and Powerful Story, and the Requirements of the Strictest Age Ratings out there, this, although it Can be Done, Requires a *Professional Screenwriter* , as it Certainly cannot be done, as FH5 was, in house by the Developers Themselves (why it is so Cringey and Amateurish, because it was Written by People who have *never* Written a Game Dialogue Screenplay Before! ) as they just would not know how to balance the two , however, the best Screenwriters for that Balance tend to be those who Wrote for the Golden Age of Saturday Morning Cartoons, back in the Heydays of the Marvel Animated Universe (X-Men The Animated Series) and Detective Comics Animated Universe (Batman The Animated Series/The New Batman Adventures/Batman Beyond) back in the Early to mid 1990's, these Writers charge an Absolute Fortune however, and I doubt Microsoft would Greenlight that Expense, I feel Microsoft would be more likely to Force a Massive Saving in Money by Ordering "No Story, no Cutscenes, and all Dialogue to be Written and Voiced by Artificial Intelligence" instead.

You can tell that PGG wasn't really trying anymore just by the menu screen. In all of the previous Horizon games menu screen, they would feature some of the new mechanics that was introduced in the respective game (FH2 introduced new weather systems, FH3 introduced bodykits and different biomes, FH4 introduced the season) but FH5 they just show you the empty landscape of Mexico instead. One other small thing about the menu screen is that the main cover car would usually be the first car you would see, in 5 it's the last screen before it loops back.

Not an excited voice actor who just won the lotto. Is the future perhaps moving "away from the country concept?" @@LooterUniverse I'm not the one who you're asking but in this case it's not that it offends people, just that it's cringeworthy. It's clear they don't care about Mexican culture, they just want the bonus points for featuring an exotic location, otherwise they would've put effort into bringing Mexican car culture into the game. I'm Brazilian and I'm sure if they were to make a Horizon set in here they would blow it big time looking how they treated México.
Most of the embarrassing stuff comes from the fact they are dumbing down every line of dialogue to be as inoffensive as humanly possible, and as you mentioned, it wasn't bad in FH3. There the characters behaved as you'd expect instead of the playground teachers from FH5 trying to be quirky and hype you up every 5 seconds.

I really enjoyed the grind you would have to enjoy in part Forza Horizons. In FH3 I remember having to leave the festival sites and go out and do a race to get money and upgrade my engine. Now in FH5, all I have to do is leave my house, do a wheelspin, and boom I now have 200k more dollars, and I didn’t even have to drive! Progression in older games was so much better..

For FH6, I want to see part of the map focus on highways and interchanges. Imagine having to maintain speed around a cloverleaf or jockey for position in between exits 25 and 26 before diving off the freeway and back onto surface streets, or a challenge where you have to navigate the maze of city streets and highway exits to get to a specific point on the map.

Glad to see you closed the "FH5" arc so to say. Going from previous videos I wanted to see what you would think of the game finally "finished" with all it's DLC.
A video this long must have taken forever to make. But I'm sure many are glad you two took the time to make this and address the games issues. Too many 10/10s has made fans and PGG blind to just what made these games special to begin with.
It really breaks my heart too, as a Mexican, it sucks when I see videos say "Mexico is boring" and talk about how the old games brought their settings to life, and seeing this game be the most mid of the series is a huge bummer. Mexico deserves better

Plus, maybe the competition the Crew Motorfest and Test Drive: Solar Crown will provide to FH5 will finally wake Playground up to make Horizon better. I've played the newest Crew game and while the janky physics of the game can't hold a candle to Forza and the dialogues aren't really much of an improvement, the playlists are far more engaging than the ones in Horizon 5, and the festival in Oahu is far more livelier than FH5. For example- Donut Media's playlist in Motorfest seem to have had more effort put in than theirs in Horizon 5, the graphics is far more colorful, picking cars is a lot more exciting since they're in a showroom inside the festival site and there's actual acted cutscenes in some playlists(like the Japanese tuner one).

💥 Ultraviolet, you've just unleashed an absolute demolition derby of a critique with this 2-hour epic takedown of Forza Horizon 5! 🚗💨
👏 Kudos to you for fearlessly diving into the game's flaws and shortcomings, and laying them all bare for the world to see. 🙌 Sometimes, it takes a passionate critic to point out where even the most beloved franchises fall short.
🌄 Mexico might be stunning, but your critique has me questioning if FH5's beauty is just skin deep. Your analysis of the game's graphics, despite the initial dazzle, reveals cracks in the facade that I hadn't noticed before. 🤔
🚘 The gameplay breakdown exposed the game's handling issues, lackluster car roster, and underwhelming customization options. It's high time someone said it like it is! 📢
😂 And let's not forget the humor! Your witty commentary kept me engaged throughout this 2-hour journey of criticism. 🤣 You've managed to make even the game's faults entertaining!
👍 I've smashed that like button and subscribed for more honest critiques like this. It's refreshing to see a content creator willing to call out a game, even if it's part of a beloved series. Keep up the fantastic work, Ultraviolet, and let's hope this critique reaches the right ears at the FH5 development studio! 🏁💥💯

I have two main issues with Horizon 5:
    1) Way too many cars way too quickly. I rolled some of the top cars in the game in the first couple of days. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones, but it took a lot of wind out the sails for me.
    2) Races seem like an afterthought. I like all the stories - I think that was a home run. And then they kept adding more to give you more to do. But there was never anything pushing you to do the races or run the championships besides grinding for credits.

I spent about 250 hours in the first couple of months and I have barely played it since. I've played every horizon game and put thousands of hours into each except fh5 which just feels too boring and lonely to play compared to it's predecessors. It's honestly insulting how bad the game is after spending £80 on it and it literally makes me feel bad for not playing because of the money I spent on it. I really hope they can bring back the original horizon formula for fh6 and make it a genuinely good game.

If there are two big issues i have regarding horizon 5 and some other games, it's too friendly and lacks motivation. The catering to a bigger audience makes the game feel like they say and do anything to make you happy. Super and hypercars should honestly be something you unlock after reaching at least the second half of "story" mode if not later. Having a goal to beat a rival or a grand race between you and the best to end the story would make the story more motivating to finish. Having certain in game characters with different personalities like the person you hate and want to win against, a funny down to earth character etc... you get my point. This feels like a game that only gives you positives and no struggle at all. There are other things but these two things are the first that comes to mind.

I don't know if this was mentioned or not, but a complaint I have with FH 5 is how the Forzathon Arcade is set up. In FH 4 you only had one spawn every couple of hours. In FH 5 there is usually anywhere 2 to 4 on every map when they spawn. It's hard to get that Accolade when I'm usually by myself or maybe 1 other player. In FH4 I've never had less than 3(or sometimes 8) in the same group. And I like how FH4 the game would make it more of a spectacle.

Honestly when it came to DLC, i have a Eliminator-esque theory that you proposed. Since in the previous games, the first DLC was always (i think) a "realistic" DLC and the second was more fun, i think their realistic DLC was planned to be big but got either cabcelled or shelved. That would explain the delay, why the expansion came out around the time the second expanison usually comes out in prevous games and, why the second expansion felt so half-assed

Direction of the h2h race and the final race is very easy to predict if you know how it works. I'm playing this all the day and i will never stop, this is the only good mode in this game. Yeah the cars are poorly leveled but this only making this more fun. Funco is amazing car when you know how to drive it, and Camaro and P1 are one of the best too if you are not crashing trees. FH6 needs to be set in the US and take notes from the Crew. Need a Gulf coast area with long coastal highways, wetlands, and beaches. Needs a Midwest area with wide open fields, farms, farm roads, and long straits of asphalt. Need a Rockies/West coast zone with mountain climbs, mountain roads, snowy mountain peaks, and curvy Hollywood roads in narrow tight roads through million dollar neighborhoods. Finally completely new biome for Forza, the South. The south could have new racing types like mud races with all new and realistic mud physics, new tire compounds, new suspension set ups, ext., make all the big 4x4 trucks and SUVs feel useful for once. FH6 needs to go back to Horizons roots while adding something completely new and unexpected lile Mud physics or rock climbing physics. Also think the car list should be the same as FH5 at the end of its life cycle, starting with a catalog of 800ish cars would be phenomenal and also leave room for cars we would never see again like a C6 Z06 even though we already have a C6 ZR1. They also need a genuine career mode, I don't want to start with everything given to me, I want to start with junk cars and no reputation and build up as I play, FH5 I was a millionaire after a few hours with over 30 cars. We need more body kits, engine swaps, customization options, more biomes, more daily drivers. Please no more Hot wheels or Lego, give use add ons like proper cross country endurance racing like Dakar, or off road paradise with new environments and off-road physics, or mabye even something crazy like boats or motorcycles added to the game. Ultimately the gameplay is getting stale, Forza needs some drastically new driving experiences, aswell as a map that's actually fun to drive and explore.

I got to be honest, I started the series with FH5 (then FH4) and as a new player, the game is great, with a few annoying stuff sprinkled left and right.
So the game is great, if you never played anything but NFS before.

As a veteran Eliminator player with thousands of games played and nearly 700 wins, I'd like to address some of the Eliminator points made in the video.
20:35 while 10 hours of Eliminator experience may seem like a lot, it is in fact not nearly enough to actually learn how the finer points in the game work. With more experience, many of the critiques listed in the video would be both understood and answered.
20:50 imo the game is 75% skill and 25% luck. The more you play, the more you understand, the better you will be at the game. What may seem like random or lucky coincidences are actually not so to the experienced player.
21:00 purple level car drops are rare and hard to find. Yes are are some available at the game start, but the game isn't handing them out like candy. It took me many hundreds of games played before I ever found my first level 10 car drop. But, it is entirely possible to beat a few opponents and then upgrade to a high level car as well.
21:06 the race direction isn't as random as it appears and is actually quite easy to accurately predict. Every Arena has a certain number of race finish locations; as the circle shrinks, the amount of possible locations decrease as well. Remember, the map is always shrinking towards the Final Arena where the Final Showdown will take place, so you will notice that the race directions will increasingly go in that direction.
21:18 just because a car has a higher level doesn't automatically mean it's a better car than a lower level car. For example, the Audi RS6 is quite capable of beating any level 10 car in the right hands. It was a level 5 car in FH4 and it should have been at least that in FH5 as well. With experience you will learn which cars to choose and which ones to avoid.
21:41 the "mile long lead" comes from preparing for the Final Showdown beforehand. You need to pull up the main map (make sure to bind it to a key you can quickly access; this is vital) and determing the most likely direction of the final race, then try to exit the final zone at a high rate of speed right as the countdown timer hits 3 seconds or less. In your case, the final zone was to the far east. Since there is water farther east and not much room north or south, a long Final Showdown race must by necessity go west (which is exactly what happened).
22:35 yes the Brocky and RS200 are good, but so are the other level 10 cars. It all depends on the type of terrain you're on. The AMG, with its 250 mph/400 kph top speed, will absolutely destroy any other car on the road, and especially in a highway race. Meanwhile, the Funco has the fastest acceleration, a top speed around 350 kph, and is a beast offroad (once you know how to control it). I've won with every Eliminator car from the level 1 Beetle straight through every level 10 car and can tell you that map knowledge and race setup is what will win races, not necessarily the fact that your opponent is driving a higher level car.
22:57 I agree that the Eliminator needs to be updated; at the very least it would be great to get a changing roster of cars. I wrote a Forza article titled "Improve the Eliminator: here's how" where I list 25+ suggestions of how the developers could improve this game mode. Maybe someday we'll see some of these changes, but right now it seems more priority is given to things like a longer nighttime cycle than to any Eliminator improvements.
All in all, the Eliminator is a fantastic game mode. I've been fortunate to meet many great players and enjoy interacting with them on my channel or other social platforms. The open world freedom, game to game unpredictability, and all the funny crazy moments is why I spend 90% of my Forza gameplay time in the Eliminator. Not much in Forza actually excites me, or is as fun as this. My channel is based around the Eliminator, and many questions (how to predict car drops/how to predict race direction/where are the best spawn locations) are answered on the channel.
If you ever have any questions about the Eliminator, feel free to let me know and I'll be glad to help 😀

Hello! Firstly wanted to say thank you for the giant comment, glad to see people very passionate about this game. Secondly just wanted to say I recognise you! I used a few of your eliminator guides for research in this video! So I’m honour of that I’ll try to address that section a little more clearly.
Firstly just want to state I’m no expert, you’re right when you say 10 hours isn’t nearly enough to have proper game sense, but we had no one on the team who had even really touched that game mode, so I decided to give myself a day to play it for the purpose of this video, considering I really didn’t enjoy my time with this mode, I wasn’t willing to play anymore than that, a lot of the stuff stated in the video is hyperbole for the sake of entertainment, but a lot of it still remains true to my experience
In my experience a lot of my losses felt as though it was luck, from getting bad car drops to being stuck in a bad high level car (I swear every time I get to tier 10 I get a road car then the final even is miles away off-road) I understand finish lines do spawn close to the centre, but I’ve had times they spawn going back towards the edge of the circle and losing because I was trying to go to the centre, I was extremely frustrating every time it happened.
That being said it is incredibly impressive that you managed to win with every single car, that’s an amazing achievement!

    • @StriderZYT
      @StriderZYT 10 месяцев назад +1

@serperior2264 interesting; I'm flattered that would recognize me 😄 I understand that the Eliminator isn't for everyone, but I'll give a few more quick pointers in case you ever decide to play it again. First, if you're not sure which direction to go in a race but you do have a faster car than your opponent, I'd recommend turning in the same direction that he's traveling when challenging him. This helps to avoid "surprises" as you're both in the same situation. Plus, you can then use your speed advantage to give you the upper hand in the race.
For spawn locations, check out the Horizon Festival site in the center of the map. There are 4 possible drops within that site, and more in the area surrounding it. The highway intersections all also have car drop possibilities.
If I get bad car drops, my solution is to just upgrade by eliminating opponents. So if I start with a level 3, 7 eliminations will still get me a level 10 by the start of the Final Showdown. Often though I get to snipe a faster car, and that helps me upgrade quicker.
Another tip is to check the big map before you start any race to determine a race direction, and again in the middle of the race if you need to. Keep an eye on the distance indicator on the minimap once you challenge someone; this will tell you if you're heading the right or wrong way before the flag/destination shows up on the minimap. If you see the distance increasing, you instantly know you're heading the wrong way and need to turn around. This is crucial in immediately getting an advantage over your opponent.
You mentioned short races surprising you. Yes, this does happen. If you're near the edge of the Arena but the circle is still large and the race distance is 1.5 kms away instead of the normal 3 kms, chances are the race will go right back toward the edge of the Arena. Also, keep an eye on your opponents. If they're all heading in a certain direction, odds are that you'll be going there as well.
Once you string all this together, you will see that much of this comes down to driver skill, which is gained through experience. But don't worry, even the best of us still get it wrong from time to time. If we just always won, that wouldn't be fun either 😄
One last thing: check out my "Funny Fails and Best Moments #4" video which is coming out this Sunday (in 2 days). You'll see how crazy this game mode can get sometimes, but also see the funny side in all of it.
Thanks for the reply; maybe we'll have the opportunity to go head-to-head sometime in the Eliminator. Best wishes until then 😀

    I'd like :
    - 900° Steering Wheel Rotation
    - Indicators
    - Red Lights, Gas Stations etc.
    - Accessible interiors, such as player houses, garages, and car dealers
    - Proper level design, with narrower streets, a map which you can't just fly through cross country
    - More immersion, progression and meeting spots, leaning into car culture. My idea of open world car game is more than just car football and playing catch.
    - Sense of speed that pumps you up and makes the driving actually feel dangerous and exciting.
    - Proper creative direction. A beautiful atmosphere and vibe which elevates a video-game to artistic aspirations. Racing games can create a feeling like Zelda or Read Dead Redemption, the original Forza Horizon proved that. I fell in love with Colorado.
None which FH5 has, and that's why it feels like a tech demo also why I un-installed, play Test Drive and Forza Horizon 1 instead.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't disagree more profusely about the Eliminator section. That, for the most part, was 4 minutes of torture to my ears. Agreed with some minor details, like the large text blocking the screen, and the Ferrari/Camaro, but the rest was an absolute lie. I don't know how to put this nicely, but you need to learn how to play this game. Nothing is "random" or "behind you" if you actually understand the basics. Please read @StriderZYT's comment from a few hours prior to mine - and his videos are also excellent. I honestly can't believe you've basically sold this game-mode to thousands of people as a P.O.S. when 95% of what you've said is pure nonsense. I haven't watched the rest of this video but will certainly be returning to see it soon. For now, thanks for painting a humongous-ly false picture of this very good mode.

I think calling all of that a lie is very disingenuous as those were my thoughts after playing for a day straight, I really did not enjoy that game mode, especially compared to something like TCM's demolition royale which in my opinion is a lot more balanced and fun. The eliminator feels lackluster, and I wrote my thoughts just as they are for video's sake. Though don't let me take away your enjoyment of the gamemode if you like it, I'm glad you can enjoy something I can't

I like the part about the festival playlist. It's so goddamn infuriating that legitimately awesome cars (Aventador SVJ, 992 GT3, RS7) are only available if you play at the perfect moment. When the game released and I noticed them doing this to even more extremes than FH4 I started to dislike the game more and more. Back in FH4 it was less bad and I was also younger without a life so I could complete the playlist every week.
A month after release I dropped the game because it was clear what kind of 'progression' the game had in mind and I didn't touch it for 1,5 years. When the final DLC dropped I redownloaded the game to play both DLCs and had quite some fun with the Rally DLC, I was almost shocked that the really awesome cars were locked behind artificial scarcity. And I refused to refresh the Auction House for hours to even get a chance at buying the car. So after two weeks I uninstalled again
It's a shame given that FM3, FH1, FM4, FH3 and FH4 provided such great experiences only to see it being stomped in the ground in order to induce FOMO in people who just want to enjoy an experience instead of grinding. And why does the game want you to grind when it gives you millions of credits after a couple hours of play?

I put hours upon hours into it, I evwntually just outright bought it. All the DLC, etc. Then, once FH5 came out, i got it too and played it for a solid couple months, then I sorta just...stopped. it didnt hit that same feeling thst FH4 hit me when I was younger. Recently, I got back into playing it and saw a bunch of the new cars exclusive to the Festival Playlist I wanted soooo badly, like the K10 and older F150 model. but I was monthsss too late and have had no luck auction hunting. I do wish they took this mans advice and made such cars available to newcomers or returning players.

Do not forget the amount of bugs and unwanted "features" the game has had in it's life-time.
    Few examples:
Over time I've played from beginning to Hot Wheels expansion (only up to this point because dropped the game afterwards), I'd find *weekly* a visual bug that looks different each time (Hot Wheels did bring out truly "spectacular" visuals, turning race tracks into light confetti). Primarily textures but happened with geometry of world itself too.
The Eliminator itself wasn't free from bugs, there'd be times when races would bork and fail to complete, wasn't that rare either. Had it happen to me at least twice/thrice and barely touched the game mode.
Driving behind another player in slipstream could add an unnecessarily high understeer on the driver in front, like in 44:48 . It's not supposed to be *that* bad. That's one among many annoying "features" with physics.
If you were at times depending on completing Treasure Hunt to finish the week's playlist's goals, bad news, it'd break as well. Never got back points for completing some of them. At least once couldn't finish all of the goals because of it. Worse than Mihoyo somehow.
Game loves to expose personal information like irl name, without any control over it from the player. Ironic to put gender neutral pronouns as an option yet ignore existence of people not wishing to hear name they're uncomfortable with IN A VIDEO GAME, SUPPOSED TO BE A BREAK FROM REAL LIFE, HELLO?!
There were a lot more problems with the game, some of them are rather miniscule and a nitpick, just thought I'd share these few.

Good video, I hadn't thought before about how trying sell Game Pass vs selling Individual copies would change target audience the developers are trying to hit - but I think you are on to something with that assessment. I've had a kind of weird trajectory with the Forza Horizon series, playing FH2 first, then playing the First, then not playing for several years, then picking up FH5, then recently giving FH4 a shot. I'm actually impressed at the level of activity I see in FH4 - which says a lot about how much people still like it. I find myself liking the FH4 map more because it feels more like a cohesive land area, but FH5 map feels like a bunch of environment type zones joined together with a big field - kind of like Hyrule Field in Ocarina of Time. I also like how the different seasons affect what type of driving strategies I need to use and how I need to configure my cars. I do like Drift Zones in 5 better, because in 4, especially on dirt drift tracks, the pathing isn't always clear, and in winter it gets significantly worse - Shepherd's Crook immediately comes to mind. I absolutely love Forzathon Live and it is really sad how it was replaced by Horizon Arcade which almost no one does, and most of the time I'm doing alone - and is far too easy. Also Forzathon points are way too easy to get in FH5 vs FH4. I agree with what others have said that the idea of starting the game as a nobody with a below average car has a lot more appeal than being the "Super Star Driver" - it gives you something to work towards. Lastly, I'm very surprised nobody has mentioned Papa Fernando and his Vocho yet. 🤣

For me personally, I want a return of quick race in the classic racing games, where you just build a car and race offline as much as you like, without having to earn the money and buy all upgrades from scratch. One thing I'd add is that the content model they imposed on themselves basically kills any chance for a large or mid scale addition to the map. There simply isn't any logical reason to develop anything meaningful if it's going to be in the game for only a month or worse a week like the pathfinder challanges or those small obstacle courses in season ehen they added Rivian. It's painful to see this "evolving" world kill any chance for actual evolution of the game map and content.
It's also extremely saddening to see Motorsport 8, instead of learning from the mistakes of FH live service, lean into it even harder.

I'm about to tick a few people off, but I think that Horizon 5 may be one of, possibly the, worst racing games of all time primarily for one reason, it's history and failure to live up to it. The series went from a racing game with vibrant settings to a bland puke-colored landscape; from a, albeit less than cinema quality, story to a repulsive abomination; from getting respect via championships to already having said respect from the get-go; from playing as a regular racer to a cringe Mary Sue. Don't even get me started on the Festival Playlist, dear Lord almighty save us all.
No sane person enjoys this mindless grind. No one wants to play a game that allegedly has their favorite cars just for them to learn that they may never get them. No one takes offense to the Confederate flag on the General Lee. No one wants to have those lane-protector thingys that bowling alleys have on them 24/7.
In short, stop the cring Playground. Stop pretending that you are for everyone and act like you are for no one. Just go back to your roots, being a fun, engaging racing game.
    Excellent in-depth video Ultra.

54:09 this is exactly what happened to me. I'm a HUGE Initial D fan, so the AE86 was a must-have for me. The problem? I started playing in September 2023. I looked for the AE86 the Autoshow, but couldn't find it. It was only after doing a thorough search through the internet that i found out that those cars on the Playlist don't get added to the autoshow and my only hope for the AE86 was wheelspins, the Auction House or it showing up at the Forzathon Shop or as a FP Hard to Find. It's ridiculous that it took me 4 months to finally get my hands on a tofu shitbox. And there are still cars that i want, but are locked behing a time-gate
Also, to strengthen your point on The Trial, i myself avoid The Trial at all costs. I know it'll take longer to complete the playlist, i know it's the best way to get points, but it's awful. But sometimes i can't avoid because they FORCE YOU to play it in order to get 40 points. Ridiculous

Honestly, the game feels WORSE than a chore at this point. Because if you're a new player, you won't get the cars from previous playlists, unless you're lucky that it shows up at the Forzathon Shop, Auction House, future playlists, you name it. Hard-to-find cars are bad enough, but there are cars that you can't get anywhere but the playlist? And the worst of it all is that the solution is SO SIMPLE and it was pointed out in the video! Honestly, if Horizon 6 has time-gated content, i'm not buying it. I have a life

Should have called this game "Forza Mad Max" because of how barren the map is.

FH5 looks pretty good. I can agree why so much desert. My worse complaint is the handling. The rear breaks loose to easily. In FH5 they have roads going no where for no reason.

My biggest complaint is the cars should be updated and your collection should transfer with your account to the next Horizon game.. you are so right about the re- used old cars!!! Wake up Developer's and make a game with real new content and cars!!!😢😮
