The first thing you said is not true at all. Organic listings still appear. Sometimes eBay charges you for the promoted fee and sometimes they don't, it depends on how the buyer got to the ad. I watch this video to learn something not to be fed false information.
Hi I’ve realised that although I promoting my listing at 15% I still get sales without promotion because on some sales I’m not being charged any ad rate is this something new because you did say that when you switch on ads your organic listing disappears can you explain thanks

Use a different browser to test your listings as each browser has its own set of cookies.

i normally don;t drop prices, it will get picked up, takes time sometimes
