If you’re using chrome you can essentially pin your gcal at the top & it’ll have a lil gcal icon. There is also an app download that can sit on your home doc! Makes accessibility sooo much easier! Love your content, Thankyou for your gcal use update💯
There is an add on you can get that allows you to put a green check and crosses out your event. Google Calendar Event Checker

I love this your ideas so much! I also watched your video from last year. I am getting so excited about using Google Calendar for organizing my life and time blocking! There have been so many jaw dropping moments as you have explained certain features, like Tasks and Keep! As far as crossing off the events that have happened, I noticed that the event becomes grayed out when it is completed. So it's not a check mark, but at least there is an indication that it has already happened.
I discovered the grayed out option for events when they are over. Love it!

This was great, and I probably have to listen to it again. However, for those of us on the slow side, how do we get the same calendar on multiple devices?
I use google calendar and was usong a digital planner on noteshelf but cant stick with it. I need to learn to use tasks and notes more to work wirj goofle calendar. Love this. I struggle with consistency as well.

@ Brianna: Great video, thx! Question: My google calendar on my laptop does not show the sidebar containing google task etc. I searched for it, even on google add-on but could not find it. How do you get that side tab? Thx.
There is a tiny little arrow < at the very bottom on the right hand side of calendar, Gmail, etc. that opens and closes the sidebar. Unless you know it's there you don't even know to look for it! 😺

Thank you for this! Have always just bumbled through google calendar. My completed tasks disappear and are not crossed out. Can't figure out how to change it. I also have my iphone somehow set as a separate calendar so anything I enter from my phone is it's own color/calendar. Anyone know how to get rid of that? Thanks!
Hi, To show completed tasks on your calendar, go into settings, general, views option, and check show completed task. You will have to do it on both your desktop and phone if you want the same view. I can't help you with your iPhone because I am an Android user.
