BVM Rc Turbine Jet with GoPro FPV

- Before drones came to play I always love the idea of having a camera inside an Rc aircraft like the one I placed inside the cockpit of this awesome turbine powered Rc Sport Jet made by BVM JETs.
These Sport Jets are capable of cruising as slow as 25 mph and capable of going over 300+ mph in the blink of an eye.
In this video flight takes place at Markham Park located in South Florida.
Now that technology has gotten way more advance and cameras are way smaller and can capture incredible footage I'll be installing small HD cameras in different areas of the jet so while flying not only will it capture great footage but a second person will be able to wear a set of VR goggles and look around as if he was in the cockpit.

Awesome video. I am getting into FPV with aircraft and quadcopters. This video is amazing because it feels like being in a full-size jet with instruments in the cockpit, a high-quality canopy and the sound of a real turbine. The sensation of speed is very profound. I am going to replicate this with an EDF and see how it works out. It won't be quite as exciting as this, but the jet I am thinking of can fly many places this one cannot.

there's a guy on youtube that creates micro LED gps speedometers monitors, that would go perfect on your console instead of the sticker, there's another guy that built a 2.4ghz LORA rx for long range flying. the hobby is getting better and better. I fly drones and Rc Cars Fpv after this video now I want to fly a EDF Jet plane with fpv. Awesome video!

Thank you, thank you. What an incredible video. Your camera setup and view is perfect. It gives one the feeling that you are actually inside this plane and you can experience the feeling of the speed. This was especially true in the dive and the low level passes. I wish there were more of them and for longer. This video is so exhilarating that when it is done, you have the feeling like you have just stepped out of a roller coaster at a theme park. Your heart is beating fast and your legs are wobbly. Fantastic stuff. I would like to see more of the outside of this plane as well as some of the technical details and specs. RUclips should give prizes for excellent videos like these. You should be compensated for your excellent work.
LOL love the video! You can hear the air turbulence from the landing gear being put down, just like on a real plane.

Be cool to fly it watching it through a vr headset. Especially flying it that far away. Seems like it would be a lot easier too.
I don’t see how they keep track of these things when they are at that altitude and the distance they go at 200+ MPH. Having a VR headset would be ideal.
Yea people do fpv stuff a lot but I don’t see it with jets or edfs very much. Possibly because you can’t feel what the plane is doing, and jets tend to get in bad situations pretty quick when something goes wrong. Maybe if they had a live speedometer to make sure they were keeping speed up!
I us to live in Miami Gardens Drive and I had to drive to a park close to 8 street and the turnpike to flight, back in the 80's. Now is a flying field just blocks from my old house. boommer. Nice flight.

Man that's tight flying quarters for Turbine powered "TOY" R/C Model Planes But within the AMA recommended 1000'. Of course Spotters were used while flying FPV? OH max Altitude of 400' was always in observance, Too.

How do they keep track of these at 300 MPH? I would lose it fast and wouldn’t be able to spot it. It’s also crazy that they’re allowed to fly over a major interstate section.

So, were you also flying it from this perspective using the VR goggles? It always seemed so difficult if you wanted to control it from a remote location at a distance.

And what is the max speed of this jet?
It uses Jet A just like the real jets, This jet had a P80 which pushes out 25lbs. Of thrust and its best speed was 269. I have another one that's bigger and has a bigger turbine that pushes 38 pounds of thrust goes over 300 mph, The one that holds the record just went 469 miles an hour.😳😬

How high can they go?
High enough for you to lose sight of it, which wouldn't be a good idea. Also AMA rules you're supposed to keep it under 400ft.
