I had one of those earth sphere puzzles. Because it always broke when I touched it, it’s on top of my bookshelf gathering dust for about a year or so now
Awww that's so cute💖 I rarely get puzzles but this video is seriously getting me interested in a spherical puzzle. It looks fun. Like it might stress you if you're not that experienced but ending it will be really satisfying
A tip for anyone doing this type of puzzle: Use the base to press the pieces together. I still held it while doing it, but like every 20 pieces I would put it on the base and press it from the inside. You'll hear all the pieces creak, but they'll squish into place to make the curve perfect. It really helps remove the strain of putting the pieces in. So use the stand like a template to push the curve into place. It also makes your end result perfectly smooth and look slightly better.
2:49 I think that this shows the flat earthers that even thought we don't see the earths horizon curving, it doesn't mean it isn't curved. Just something to think about.
there are globe editions of this, i actually put one of those together years ago, its sitting in another room and it came with a stand thing so u can spin it around!
I have one sat on my bookcase. It’s based on antique maps but I never appreciated how much of the world is ocean until I made it. I use it with my 7 yo to explain how far away places from us so it is educational
I think the combo of sphere + gradient makes so much sense since the color wheel is continuous. I have a set of "puzzle balls" from Ravensburger that are all different colors and sizes to represent the solar system and they are so much fun!! They are also made of similarly shaped plastic pieces, which come apart eventually when you tie clear string around a couple pieces to try to hang the whole thing from the ceiling. You know, in case you were planning to do that to decorate a college apartment like I did...lol
i know it’s 2 years later but couldn’t you mod podge the inside if you take a couple pieces off? then when you hang it it would be a bit more structured?
@@hannahhosey3165 That is an interesting idea. Personally, I was/am interested in being able to take the puzzle balls apart and re-assemble them as desired, so glue never occurred to me
The so call stand, is for making the jigsaw on. I do one of a globe. Granted it was numbered. Like most 3D puzzles. Came with a real stand that you fit to the globe so it can spin around. The thing that came with your jigsaw was also with the globe. You sat it on that so it would not roll off the table and break.
I showed my grandma this video and I got the puzzle for Christmas that year. Best gift gotten. Took me a couple hours to finish it but it was so much fun. Also I’ve literally played catch with the thing and she hasn’t broken yet
The Ravensberger spheres are made of a similar plastic material. They include some really helpful tips. The base can be used to help press pieces into the right curved shape. You can create several smaller areas and put them together. (You don't have to work on the whole thing at once.) And to put the last bit in, make a small circle (so 6-7 pieces instead of just 1), lay that area in the base, and gently press the whole sphere into the little area. The sphere will be relatively structurally sound by that point & the little area will be supported by the base, so a little wiggling & pressure should finish it up. Also - the Ravensberger pieces are numbered on the back. Can help you if you get stuck. Also useful if you aren't sure about a fit. The numbers sort of spiral from one pole to the other.

This was in my recommended and the moment i started watching, i fell in love with your excitement towards puzzles! It just shines and radiates through beautifully, keep it coming gurl 💜
My ex had a Simpsons sphere jigsaw that took about 15 minutes to do. It was of all the characters. It was only small & fairly simple to do. He still has it displayed on the shelf.
I remember when Ravensburger was first starting to release 3D puzzles. They were of famous landmarks and I got the Schloss Neuschwanstein one for a birthday of mine. The puzzle pieces back then were made of thick but really soft foam you'd stick together. Looked nice enough when the puzzle just got done, but iIt would sadly not take long until individual pieces of the building, like the towers, started to drift apart.
I just found your channel and I saw this puzzle on your shelf in the background and I was like omg I really want to see her do that one. I am so glad you made a video doing it!
I just started to like puzzles a lot more and I found your channel recently and I think I’ll stick around, Also sphere because I stuck around for the whole video.
I seriously never thought I’d find interest in puzzles since I left like 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles when I was a kid but... these more interesting puzzles like the brain teasers, the clear puzzles, these gradient puzzles are really changing my mind. I would love to create and display a globe puzzle if it’s as beautiful and interesting as this one.
This has to be your best puzzle video - I love watching you put it together - Couldn't wait to see the last piece go in, and then how to take it apart if needed to be - I want to get one now for myself - Thanks for such a great time viewing how it came together - Code word is "sphere".
I absolutely love the look of this sphere puzzle and want to buy it! This is absolutely my aesthetic and looks super fun but challenging to put together.
I did this puzzle and I realized when I was done that I had I many pieces in the wrong spot so I spent like a good half hour going through the sections and seeing what ones were out of place and putting them where they belonged
We have a simallar puzzle in our classroom although it isn’t as big and it’s a map of some show I can’t remember . This gradient puzzle is so beautiful I’m considering buying
My brother got me a sphere puzzel a few years ago who looks like the golden snitch from Harry Potter. And last year I bought me a 3D-puzzel in the shape of Hogwarts castle. They their both very cool and is on display in my livingroom now 🤩 You actually dont need to worry so much about dropping this kind of puzzles :) I have accidently done it so many times and as long as you dont use them as an actual ball they dont break so much of it, they are very sturdy. I have even put them in moving boxes during moves and they had barely broke of that. I overall likes that kinds of puzzles better than the flat ones :)
This sphere puzzle is so cool! I definitely want to try it. Mostly because I could save it as artwork. Normally I don’t think puzzles are aesthetic enough to display as wall art, but this one is beautiful!
Video aside, I'm curious about the black sphere in the background. Its aesthetically pleasing but all I can think is emo stuff about the world(globe) being a dark place, how the world would look like st its end, etc.
Not a hard puzzle? Hour and a half seems absolutely amazing to me! In this sphere of interest, I knew someone who did a simpler globe puzzle than this but I have never done one myself.
My brother just got this for Christmas last month. And now this is in my reccommended. Wtf. The agent watching me through my phone is working too hard.
That turned out really pretty! I was also worried how u would get the last piece in, but it looks like because it's so well made that it was sturdy enough where it didn't crumble when u put the pressure on it u needed to to put the last piece in. I'd definitely say it's worth that money cause u get a nice art piece to display after it's done.
Just letting you know that my dad came up with the original idea for the 3D puzzle ball in the 1980's, but he didn't have enough money for a patent. The idea was then stolen by multiple people and mass produced. Google says that Paul Gallant was the original creator, but that isn't true at all. My mum still has the original blue prints in the attic.
Yes, would definitely do this puzzle if I can get hold of it. Looks very pretty! The only 'sphere' puzzle I have is a magnetic metal one of the earth that you build around a ball . It's just silver pieces with the sea gloss and the land matt.
wow this is the first video ive seen from your channel and i just would like to tell you, youre really fun to watch and you enjoying what you do just makes me smile too. new subscriber:) excited to watch more of your videos!

I'm already imagining objects like The Moon or the Death Star from Star Wars. I'm such a nerd. lol
This was in my recommended and the moment i started watching, i fell in love with your excitement towards puzzles! It just shines and radiates through beautifully, keep it coming gurl 💜
You make puzzles look so easy! I love puzzles myself but I would’ve taken so much longer on this puzzle!
My ex had a Simpsons sphere jigsaw that took about 15 minutes to do. It was of all the characters. It was only small & fairly simple to do. He still has it displayed on the shelf.
Ohhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I want one so badly. This is the coolest and most amazing thing I have ever seen. Who would have thought!
You are such an amazing young woman in a world full of chaos. I love your videos.
Watching these from the comfort of my warm bed. 😊 It's really quite relaxing.
I once did a clear egg puzzle, the pieces stacked on top of each other.
This is actually the Karen that we are all wanted. Not the "Can i speak to the manager" One
The Karen we needed, but not the one we deserved.
I just found your channel and I saw this puzzle on your shelf in the background and I was like omg I really want to see her do that one. I am so glad you made a video doing it!
I just started to like puzzles a lot more and I found your channel recently and I think I’ll stick around,
Also sphere because I stuck around for the whole video.
Expert level: build the sphere inside-out
I dont think you could. Cuz the edges of thr pieces have to be slanted so they wouldn't connect the other way
@@calistalenth228 Well you can if you are dedicated enough to hand paint each pieces inside matching the outside and then paint the outside white.
This has to be your best puzzle video - I love watching you put it together - Couldn't wait to see the last piece go in, and then how to take it apart if needed to be - I want to get one now for myself - Thanks for such a great time viewing how it came together - Code word is "sphere".
I’ve not done a sphere puzzle although like you, I’ve done 3D building puzzles before. I’d try this out but not sure if I would pay that much for it!
I absolutely love the look of this sphere puzzle and want to buy it! This is absolutely my aesthetic and looks super fun but challenging to put together.
Just went to go buy this puzzle - WOW that’s expensive.
Omg that's what I was worried about too.....how much was it ????
@@umathiagarajan7192 75 dollars it says
@@umathiagarajan7192 60 us dollars about 4500 rs
It's almost R$500, too expensive
Hi Karen. “Sphere”. What a gorgeous puzzle. Not really one I would do but it’s beautiful to look at. Thank you for another great video
I did this puzzle and I realized when I was done that I had I many pieces in the wrong spot so I spent like a good half hour going through the sections and seeing what ones were out of place and putting them where they belonged
I honestly dont understand how I've only just stumbled across your channel. I love your vidoes
Never seen a SPHERE puzzle before, it's definitely unique.
That puzzle is definitely spherical. SPHERICAL!
The plastic pieces sound like a bunch of milk bag tags😂
Edit: or bread tags
You're Canadian?
I’ve been doing so many puzzles during all of this. I would love to try this one!
“Don’t whack the whole thing”
Me: damm there’s goes my plan
I could watch you all day. Lovely smile and energy.
sphere - do I have to write this?
I *NEED* THIS PUZZEL!!!!!!!!!!!
Me to.
This sphere puzzle is so cool! I definitely want to try it. Mostly because I could save it as artwork. Normally I don’t think puzzles are aesthetic enough to display as wall art, but this one is beautiful!
I know, right? I can't stop looking at it!
Imagine dropping that on accident
wow this is the first video ive seen from your channel and i just would like to tell you, youre really fun to watch and you enjoying what you do just makes me smile too. new subscriber:) excited to watch more of your videos!
Karen:I think am gonna start with pink and purpless
also Karen:no
another Karen sentence:ok ima do red into orange
then starts with pink and purple
Wholseome channel found. Love enthusiasm and passion Karen has towards puzzles.
Sphere!
I've been looking forward to this sphere puzzle video. It did not disappoint! So cool. Now I want to try a 3D puzzle.
Isn’t it crazy that every single little color variant has a color name
This puzzle is really gorgeous! Love rainbows!! So excited I’m getting one for Easter as my holiday present! 🌈🥰
Who is here from the try guys
I was CORRECT then when I thought that I had seen her from the try guys's puzzle video?
