They started then finished patterns, so rare in drum solos these days, most drummers play a stream of consciousness flow of chops, this solo had patterns, melodies, something to grab onto, very nice! I like the smiling instead of grimacing as well!

I'm a drummer but really not fond of many drum solos. This one is fantastic! Musical and thoughtful and melodic. Wish I could have been there.

C'était la première fois que je voyais Martin Levac en spectacle lors des spectacles des Régates 2019 à Salaberry de Valleyfield . J'ai été fort épaté par la dextérité de ce drummer qui maintenait un rythme régulier et y allait à tout rompre . S'il passe par chez vous ne le manquez pas son show est époustouflant

I hate to make it about gender at all BUT.....she is THE BEST FEMALE DRUMMER on the scene. In fact, she's better than many male drummers! Technique, creativity, passion, groove, articulation and whatever else makes a great drummer.
Emmanuelle is the best of the newcomers, but the absolute Queen is Cindy Blackman-Santana.

Both are great drummers. Emmanuelle has a ton of finesse but Martin has some power behind his playing that she doesn't touch.
