Mathematical precision, accuracy, grace and ease all at the same time. She's so good
agree
@@michaelyakson9953
Agree
Math!!! One of my worst subjects. No wonder I suck.
I have seen this video many times and every time I watch it it continues to amaze me. Her technique is incredible, the groove, the dynamics, those ghost notes, even her posture is perfect. But what I like the most is that she is playing something technically very difficult and her face is like mine when I'm in my living room watching TV. Makes it look very easy.
It's an act
I agree with everything you say and I'm gobsmacked at how easy she makes it look. But - I'm told I'm very calm and even stonyfaced when I'm playing - but there's a whole universe of madness going through my head !! =oO
The stuff she is playing is difficult. But she makes it looking easy. Most important: it flows. Very nice ghost notes, excellent dynamics and technique.
watch her lessons: she explains every tiny detail
She is stupidly clean
She’s super clean and fluttery. Too bad she got absolutely no inspiration from the crowd. They look like a bunch of mannequins 😕
Joe Maggi Well it’s not like it’s a freakin Metallica concert
@@dairuggerxvvoltesfifteen8756 Metallica is absolute piss. no one in the band is above average. poor music ,lucky to get famous. luckily they had Dave Mustaine and cliff to mold their early albums.
Wow, she is so consistent. Her timing, separation of dynamics, uniformity, and ease during those intricate parts is incredible.
She is so chill, a true drumming flex. I am favoriting this video to show my students what “practice till it is effortless” looks like.
Her drum corps roots are showing... chops for days along with phenomenal ghost notes - her phrasing reminds me quite a bit of Gregg Bissonette.... amazing.....
Well spotted Gregg Bissonette reference!👏
She is my preferred RUclips drum teacher - always happy, down to earth & funny.
The parts that she plays both the hi-hat and ride are marvelous! And she plays as if it was the easiest thing in the world. Huge talent.
huge experience, not talent
@@teacherfromthejungles6671 You're right. I got your point and agree with you. To play like that obviously she has practiced a lot.
@@marceloavila87 by the way, she has marvelous educational videos on her channel and website, check them out :)
Holy friggin WOW. Incredible. Control, relaxed, focused, precision, excellent dynamics and transitions. Just amazing.
Like liquid she flows ever so gracefully... Smiles as if she isn't doing anything... Posture is top notch.
Mol Gao posture?? That’s about all she has.
And she still SUCKS.
Lol.....posture! Nice hair too!
@jerrywitaj - ?
her technique overall is fantastic
Awesome performance. And I must say that ride sounds phenomenal. Love the ping and that bell just cuts so nice.
All her cymbals have great and interesting sounds - her hearing is still good (lucky...mine? not so much).
The greatest artists always seem to play easily non easy things.
@Steven Pounsett liar! After 6 month you could barely make a correct single stroke roll at low speed. WTF ARE YOU SAYING? I AM PRO TEACHER SINCE 20 YEARS AND AUTHOR WITH 500 PAGES AWARDED DRUM BOOKS! FIRST, START TO WRITE CORRECTLY, AND SHOW YOUR SKILLS ON VIDEO, AFTER ONLY YOU CAN START TO TRY TO GIVE SHITTY LESSONS TO MASTERS. THE ONLY FACT THAT YOU THINK WHAT YOU WROTE IS THE PROOF THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT DRUMS!
Every stroke, from the cymbal bell to the ghost notes and every tom hit, is so clear and sharp. Really like that!
Unbelievable, as usual. Easily one of the best out there and more fun to watch than most.
Greeting to all. I got her e book “Smile!, you’re drumming” and it have helped me tons. It’s excellent. Thanks Emm
So friggen clean. She's great. Makes really advanced stuff look effortless!
Still waiting for that “advanced stuff”.
Today is the first day I've ever heard of Emmanuelle Caplette, wow! This is the third video of hers I've watched.
I am in love with her playing style. So clean and crisp, and she makes it all look so effortless. She's become one of my favorite drummers.
I have followed Emmanuelle for 10 years . Awesome! 💖👏
Every time I see one of her videos, it makes me want to play better!!
i sold mine drums
she is definitely a classic performer
ghost me anytime, wow nice feel s and smooth grooves, thanks.
Best female all around drummer I’ve seen on you tube. Out there flaunting her joy and talent.
Check Sheila E...
Senri Kawaguchi...'nuff said!
That smile at 4:06 is just beautiful. Made me smile and giggle out loud. Great performance
CHOPS for days, just awesome undisputed mastery of the drum set, this is beautiful to watch and listen to.
She is one those rare musicians that just has an extraordinary amount of talent, taste, and timing.
I listen to her a lot. She has a lot to give and teach. Her videos are done very nicely taught well easy to use. Thank you for all your teaching skills and your skill in drums.
She's got the ultimate female body. Stunningly simetrical, and smart, plays drums too... She can be in my heaven.
So controlled, accurate and beautiful 😍
Emmanuelle, you are so beautiful and accomplished that you make me weep with joy and love for you. Your inspiration will never end; a brilliant white light that can never be extinguished. I thank you and your parents too for so thoroughly "getting it." Getting what? Life, love, commitment, respect, support, family, integrity, humility, you know, "It."
Wow, nice playing... Vic Firth, give this lady her own signature stick!!! I've been watching her grow as a drummer over the past few years and she got talent...
I'd love to see it -- I bet it is some super interesting and cool blend between marching and set stick.
Dynamics at its finest!
Best female drummer in the world.
Yes she is a very talented percussionist. The other that comes to mind is Shelia E. Both are very talented percussionist and are the best at thier craft.
I love Emmanuelle, and she is very good, but when you say "best drummer" you need to see and hear Senri Kawaguchi. many top drummers are saying she's the best drummer on the planet...not just best female drummer!
je ne me lasse pas de vous écouter, j'en veux encore et encore (un ancien batteur)
Wow, it is so mesmerising watching amazing drummers, it’s like a type of meditation 🧘♀️, so addictive, just love it 💓 thank you 🙏
She’s ridiculously relaxed and versatile, she’s so clean , wao ! The first time I saw her in a clinic I really got shocked . I felt I had to stop playing forever.
Staggeringly good. Her rebound control is fabulous!
She’s amazing
Amazing! Love her style! So relaxed and in control
She Is awesome!!!
true
The simultaneous hi-hat and ride section was really something else. Amazing how tight her playing is too!
keep coming back to this.........what a player
10 out of 10. in all aspects- Performance, composition, sound
freaking beautiful song, excellent drumming. gave me the chills for a sec, not gonna lie. well done!
Fantastic! Emmanuelle, you are FANTASTIC! Your playing actually brought tears to my eyes...
She’s brilliant
Shes so relaxed and makes this looks easy
World class! Really showing mastery of the drum kit. 🇨🇦🥁🇨🇦
She's soooo relaxed. She makes this look easy. It's very deceptive.
you cant play drums stiff... you MUST relax, or you wont feel the groove
Nice groove! Great technique! Well done Emmanuelle
🎶🎵🥁🎼🎧 Emanuelle is kind, she is exceptional, I follow since 2010. She deserves all the Success in the world.I Love Emmanuele🇨🇦🥁🥰🥰❤
É incrível ver a evolução da Emmanulle Caplette!!
Always makes me happy to watch her drum. One of my favorite gurl drummers.
very precise and clean.
I LOVE WATCHING HER. IT RELAXES ME HOW SMOOTH SHE IS GREAT JOB. 💜
OTHER than being a great drummer, see how she keeps her back straight guys! not hunched over like some drummers, sooner or later it will affect your back if you don't!! I personally like to lean against a backrest for lower back support!! Feeling Extremely comfortable is extremely important!! for durability!! and endurance!! especially through many years a playing!!
Carter Beauford and Billy Cobham were the first drummers that made me really aware of this - just by watching them play. These are the things you need to pay attention to to be able to play for life! (It isn't all about looking cool) :)
What about weckl, gadd or Vinnie? It's not about being straight, it's just about being comfortable and natural
I have been playing slunched over like Buddy Rich for year's,I am now learning after 3 lower back surgery s to learn from better Drummers how to breathe and sit up straight and worst is some of my djembe drum playing I'm so tensed up that I loosen up my neck and back and breathing in a meditation form helps. Good luck and thanks E. For kick ass playing and wow those ghost notes on the L hand are sweet
Yeah, avoid unnecessary muscle tensions
An outstanding percussionist for sure. Her hours upon hours of practice is evident and gives here the ability to make it look effortless.
Purposeful drumming - perfect execution and great vibe!
Wow !
Her technique is amazing
Mike Tyson lol....single strokes??? Amazing???
@@jerrywitaj What do single strokes have to do with her technique? He said her technique is amazing because she has great flow around the kit and everything she does she makes it look effortless. She isn't tensing up and playing sloppy for the fast stuff
You mean her talent right?
schramschram what do singles have to do with it?? You moron, that’s all she plays. You didn’t know that??? She’s an average drummer and idiots like you think she’s good. You probably don’t even play the drums. Just shut up and don’t comment on things you know nothing about.
Love Emmanuelle. Been following her a long time. Such a sweet lady.
Incredible! Effortless playing!
She is so freaking awesome !!!!
0:55 Tasty pattern with that delicious piano melody underneath
Emmanuelle is such a master of time and I’m sure every is counting time at some point of her playing especially her left foot.
Essa mulher é incrível na batera eita pegaaaa toop lembra-se bateras unidos jamais serão vencidos 🥁
Those drums sound absolutely gorgeous. Amazing drummer!
We need more content from you! Love your style and smile(rhymes?)
Her dynamics are soooo gooood.
Nice work! Great grooves, timing and dynamics.
I love the little shout out to the Gregg Bissonette blooshda riff at 3:45!
Effortless. Incredible.
Best female drummer. More videos please!
Grandiosa!! 👏🏼👏🏼 Tocas excelente!! ❤️
AND, she's Canadian! No Wonder she is so calm, talented, and sweet.
Amazing style. Graceful.
Imagine what she would be able to do if the patriarchy wasn't oppressing her all the time!
So nice to hear from a secure man who knows: proper technique & hard earned recognition. I really appreciate her phrasing & ghost notes. She’s a great teacher. I love watching her videos and watching her use the click track and break down each section of fill patterns and the like.
@@Soohook I was being sarcastic. But she has mad skills, yes.
Nice joke
@@twain27 I may seem flippant but I assure you, friend; the patriarchy is no laughing matter. Think of all the would-be female Jimmy Hendrixes that had their motivation to attract women with their guitar skills zapped away by this plague.
@@edwardk3 Dude I know. But she has white privilege though. So that compensates a little bit.
Wow. That’s beautiful. I want me some of that! Almost makes me sad when I see other drummers this good.
nice to see Mangini behind a small kit for a change
HAHA
jackylmayhem 😂😂😂😂
🤣😂
Ahah
jackylmayhem cold, bro
Just two words, BLOODY FANTASTIC :)
Those ghost notes are so great they scared me
85ddrummer they scared you because you can’t play. A decent professional drummer can play this without any trouble.
jerrywitaj you sound like a terrible person
85ddrummer I live in the real world. Sorry if being blunt scares you, but I’m a working musician and you clearly aren’t. I’ve been criticized harshly as well as a young player....that’s life pal. The business is really cutthroat, it’s not happy rainbows. Look at Gavin Harrison if you want to see good ghost notes.
jerrywitaj it was a compliment asshole. But if tearing down compliments that have nothing to do with you is your thing then you are in fact, a terrible person
She is an excellent drummer!
You are playing in front of a bunch of zombie dead audience. Call the morgue.
Great performance!
🤣🤣 This is true !
Sad audience
People don't usually mosh at a jazz show.
@@Scatterbrain70 no, audiences usually show enthusiasm and show respect for the musicians talents. That's all.
oh come on .. they observing, they are concentrated . ... it's not a beach party
Great drummer!! Top notch in the world!!!!!!
Great and she looks so relaxed, almost no strong muscle work...
Wow! She is so relaxed in the groove. Very nice. Yeah the audience looks like they just came back from lunch.
I love the perfect timing at the end of her semi-solo break. Great performance. Too bad audience seems deaf.
Given what the event was, they're likely all musicians. Drummers mostly, I wager. Think they're just paying attention. Trying to start up a pit just wasn't appropriate.
Lupus Logos I’d wager they weren’t all that impressed. I know I’m not.
@@jerrywitaj that I can provide 50 videos I find more impressive, doesn't render this unimpressive. Think about that.
jerrywitaj This is a second comment thread I see you hating on her. Are you sexist? Or did she turn you down before? What’s your deal I’m really interested in knowing.
Matthew Grover im betting that most of the dudes that "arent impressed" are just being salty cuz theyre jealous 🤣
Cuz this was 🔥🔥🔥🙌👏
WOA!! That was amazing!! So glad I found this! Drumming for years and this lady could teach me a lot!
The Mona Lisa of drumming
Mona Lisa was the subject, not the painter. How about the Marie Curie of drumming?
True. But she’s stil a piece of art.
@@jguix Underrated comment by a long, long way
Besides being a skilled player ,she is a cutie pie. I am thoroughly impressed by her playing and cuteness.
She is much prettier ! She is from La belle province ,I do not know why Canadians do not get more exposure ,they make great drummers in this country ! I would say that her performance was flawless ,I gave her an 11 out of ten because she is so cute .Take care every one ,be good.
Pop, pop, dup, dup, parapapa....😯 So happy to spend this time to watch it ... Awesome !!!
Who ever put thumbs down for this clearly you need drum lessons.
1) I don't like what she played as musical ideas over the rec band 2) the sound of the kit is not good especialy the tom 10"... sound plastic , that doesn't give me the envy to by sonor at all, even the cymbals are very bright.... I don't like her playing, I don't like her sound..... quite an issue for me
Clearly YOU do. She’s average to below. You’re only taking notice because she’s a woman. She’s a Dave Weckl clone....without the chops.
to give you an idea, I am a fan of Gavin Harrison... musical idea, groove sound... he has everything
Jérémy Martinez me too. One of my favorite odd meter drummers. Great grooves. This chick doesn’t compare.
Really enjoying her re-working of the rudiments lessons around this platform - she's great. I'm just learning to play, 68yo. The way she handles her sticks - relaxes her grip to get more speed - is interesting to watch. Gotta work on that...back to my diddles 💖 🇨🇦
Daaamn girl... don't be hogging all the ghost notes! Save some for the rest of us. :)
Emmanuelle rules and she also has the best smile in the drumming scene :)
I heard the Ghost Adventures crew is gonna make an episode on her notes.
Amazing!, Who said the drums is not an instrument for women? This girl could play in any band at the highest level.
Congratulations Emmanuelle Caplette!!!
The battery? You mean drum set? Or trap kit? Or trap set? Or drum kit? Or the drums? No battery here, Pierre.
@@waltzguy14151 Escuse me, in Spain this instrument is called.
@@waltzguy14151 I do not speak English. I used a translator that shoudn't be goog. Excuse me please.
Accompanied by Casper the Ghost.
She is the drummer on a popular show in Quebec which is called Belle et bum! Nice to see her here!
That bass is giving me Halo vibes
Groove monster for sure. Her playing looks effortless. Quick side note,,,.... ANYTIME someone makes something look easy, it’s not. They are very accomplished and experienced at what they are doing. This is the perfect example of that description. For the insecure ones, comments on her clothing or negative vibes on her playing only demonstrates to the seasoned that you need MUCH more time behind your drum kit, possibly with your shrink as well! It’s super refreshing to see women killing it in the percussion world. Thanks for the great video,ALOHA.🤙😎💪
so tight! and she makes it look and sound so effortless
I ripped the biggest fart of my life while watching this! My WiFi disconnected for 8 seconds.
JimmyGunXD556 haha Wtf
HAHAHAHAHA 🐕💨🌪
That's Seriously Funny lmao!
Ummm...gee, thanks for sharing?! Or, not...
EC's videos are great at showing technique, notice the loose wrists and hands opening and closing. Plus of course how loose and relaxed EC is overall, she makes it look easy. I always focus on drummers, because I wanted to be one as a kid. At school my music teacher said she'd put me down for piano lessons! Back then I didn't understand the purpose of that.
