The Blackhawk has to be the most versatile helicopter ever created
I worked at Moody in the 41st as a weapons tech. Retired in 2015 just before the new aircraft came out. Loved flying on them and deploying when I got the chance. The 15 years before that, I worked on the A-10 as a weapons specialist (the 1st 2W1 class after 462's!), then the backshop where we tore the MAU racks and GAU-8 apart and rebuilt and inspected them daily. Good times!
A vast improvement from the N model Huey that I worked on in the 70's at an air rescue detachment in Florida.

@Lucas McElroy I was indeed. The n model Huey was new, and so was I. I turned 20 in1972.
"Pavehawk" sounds better than "Jolly Green 2"
But the HH-60W is a MUCH more capable aircraft.

How and where do you gather your information and how long does it generally take? I figured current U.S.A. tech and military operation equipment would be generally classified due to secrecy to them, but the amount of information you guys dig up is impressive to me.
I didn't watch the entire video, but generally speaking most of the capacity of the Blackhawk is unclassified. This G model is also a bit outdated by today's standards, I work on M models. The only things really classified to any appreciable level are some of the avionics equipment.

Just about all information on Military's weapon systems are unclassified... for a reason. It’s a form of deterrence. When potential adversaries learn or knows of your capabilities, they’re less likely to engage in kinetic action inducing activities.
What you see is declassified. Worry about what you don't know yet.
good question. my rule of thumb is that anything on here is already public knowledge (as in, it's legal to disclose). I'm intrigued by mystery behind the channel as well, but RUclips flags/labels state sponsored channels like RT, Al Jazeera or the BBC already, so we know at least this is a private channel. Freedom of the press is a glorious thing.

Search HH-60W that's the new (and much improved) version. There's a few RUclips videos out there just make sure you use the "W" with hh60.

@@penguino5787 That's the only thing that came to my mind as well, but thanks to the quite speedily rotating blades not too far from that boom I was hesistant about the conclusion.
@@margusgrenzmann3977 From the aerial refueling videos I've seen, I think the tube can be extended telescopically. Still, must be a nerve-wracking procedure.
