Your garden is gorgeous! Your dog is so sweet too! Your dog is trying to tell you that your turtle might be eating up something. Watch your garden. What a smart dog🥰
Kimberley, thank you for sharing your garden! My roses are still taking their little break but are starting to push new growth and buds! I am thankful for your videos!
Hey there, fellow Marylander here, 7b as well, on the eastern shore. Japanese beetles are here in hoards, destroying everything. I'm going to spread milky spore this autumn. I have too much yard to do it all, but figure 1/4 acre around the garden might be a big help. Your dog is so sweet, tickled me seeing him walk the edge between the garden and lawn. Sure would be fun if the turtle makes your garden home.
Beautiful garden. I learned from u about cutting off the rose buds . The Japanese beetles are still go after the rose Leaves … ( and all other plants ) 😢. The new flowers buds keep popping up more and more…. Glad that u are able to control those pests. Love ur videos and contents. Thanks.
Kim, everything is looking great! Seeing the turtle brought back such fond memories. When I was a kid, I had one, and it was so much fun feeding him and watching him roam around the yard. Miller is such a sweet dog!
It is still simply beautiful; your backup singers are definitely supporting the main act during her break; thanks for sharing. I may as well dis-bud my roses as well so they can be great in the fall!
@@TheRoseGeek When and if we ever get rain, I will do a video showing them....after a good rain all the Males go to singing through the night, and across the valley it is an eerie thing to hear!
Debudding sounds so scary! I probably should have done that on one of my plants earlier in the season. Everything looks so great! I got my limelights after you taught me about them and mine started to bloom, too!

Rosebuds? I like my new nickname😁. What does yellow leaves mean? Am I overwatering? It was 105F today zone 7a. I may be over compensating for the heat. The roses other than the yellow leaves look pretty good for under a year old. Thanks for any input. Your garden is so lovely. But it helps me to know you have struggles too.
Star roses look great! I checked their website. But it is only for whole sale . It’s rarely to see the roses I like in local vendors. Could you please tell me how do you order from them? Thanks ❤
@@TheRoseGeek my hat is off to you-my yard is way way smaller than yours and sometimes I feel overwhelmed. I’ve created more work for myself with my rose addiction lol.
Beautiful roses and tour! I bought a climbing rose from High Country Roses. You have a lot of experience in buying from this vendor. I planted the rose in the garden. It is still tiny. Should I give it 1/2 a cup of Rose-tone or 1 cup of Rose-tone? Thanks for your help Kim.
Have you have good fortune with planting roses in containers? I'm struggling to keep them looking good and growing well. They are in full Southern sun, up to over 105 degrees at times. Any suggestions? I feel like I'm not sure with how much water to give them. My Parfuma Bliss will bloom and the next day it is crispy. :(
I’m in south jersey you have any rooted cuttings? Been trying to get earth angel no one has it, I wanna put one in the ground yesterday 😂🤣 do you know any vendors that may have it? On Etsy there is 1 vendor with some pretty wild looking roses I have never seen before so not sure I can trust and she wants $80 for earth angel, and I’ll pay it, just not sure she is legit
I was wondering if I could send you a pic of a rose bush that I have for some advice. Half of the bush is growing leaves while the other half looks to be experiencing die back? Wondering if I prune that completely off or if it actually is dieback. Any insight would be appreciated. The seller gave store credit after I sent pics.

Lovely! I love those hanging baskets with the trailing variegated potato vine. The hydrangeas 💚💚💚

Always inspiring, thank you! 🌹🌿
In my yarden, I have big toads the size of that turtle...they come out in the evening and on a full moon they are jumping all over the place! :)

So elegant, Kim!
Oh so nice!! I wouldn’t cut back boxwoods in the summer they could burn esp in southern heat!! Might wait till fall or spring.
I sooo wanted you to follow the turtle 🐢

2:05 - that is a good chance to practice your grafting skills! You have both root stock and scion... and willow tree - nothing could be easier!

Beautiful garden. Can you look or give specific information on the supports you mentioned for your hydrangeas? Thanks.

Are your those david Austin roses?
I'm wanting to get another white DA rose to replace my Lichfield. Suggestions?
How is silver sterling doing ?
Your garden is beautiful as always! Your dog looks a bit like my dog; large, white and fluffy. Is he a livestock guardian dog? My dog is a Maremma.
Wonderful! 💚
Love this!! Do you have help in caring for everything? At 16:45 where did you get the supports for climbers?
