  • After last week's chaos putting together a wedding order, this week doesn't look much more promising. Will there be enough flowers? Will it storm? Will the lack of daycare prove too much?

Gorgeous bouquets and table arrangement, Kristen. You might be able to force some almost ready statice by picking and putting in warm water overnight. The stems are sturdy enough not to get droopy. Might work with some stiff stemmed flowers as well when they’re being used in hand held bouquets. They’re packed so tight they aren’t going to move. Congratulations on the eucalyptus. It’s beautiful. Another job well done. 😊💖🦋🕊

You are so very talented! Please know this! KNOW YOUR WORTH! please charge more next year! I’m a hairstylist, there is a reason weddings cost more. Cheers from Alberta (my moms from PA, Sask). ❤️🇨🇦😘

I definitely will! Honestly, I’m undercharging on pretty much EVERYTHING for my weddings, even after increasing my rates from last year. I’m okay with being a little less than a brick and mortar, but I need to be not so much less.

Again and again, I am impressed by your ability to function after giving your time and attention to the kids, they usually suck out all the energy from the mom. Love the arrangements!

I’m always so amazed at how beautiful your arrangements turn out. Clearly you are using your artistic talents and your work is very valuable. Pricing is so hard to get right when you are starting out. Doing all of this AND filming AND parenting babies is quite a challenge. Keep up the good work!

You do the best you can and that's all you can do. Just know you are a VERY talented designer! We put too much pressure on ourselves in the First World. My mother was raised (in the US) by her grandmother while her mother worked full-time. Other cultures have grandmothers and aunts to care for children while able-bodied young women can work. Grandmothers even nurse their grandchildren! Don't get wrapped up in the unrealistic Western exceptionalism. You're doing great!

Thank you so much for this!! It's true, we've really lost our village in the First World.

    Stunning arrangement and bouquets!
How did you get your peonies to last so long and look so beautiful?
I’m really hoping the ones in my fridge will be as beautiful as I’m doing my first wedding bouquet next weekend 😬. I don’t like the stress of wedding work but a co worker pleaded with me so 🙏 it turns out as beautiful as yours!
Always enjoy your videos, keep up the great work 👍

The dry storage method works surprisingly well. Pick at the marshmallow stage, wrap with newspaper or plastic bags and cut and put in water only when you’re ready to use them.
