Love your channel! Truly gorgeous wedding flowers! I'm a first year flower farmer in Zone 5b (Prince Edward Island) learning SO MUCH from you! :) Thanks for all your efforts in flower farming, floristry and teaching us newbies how it's done.

Beautiful bouquets, Kristen. So happy to see you are able to have help this year. An extra pair of hands makes a huge difference…..especially when your life includes toddlers. The two of you work very well together. The yellow statice worked out beautifully.
Perhaps a different approach for the vintage shop might catch on….a small bucket or two of small wrapped bouquets…..then the customer could select a bouquet and then choose a container to put it in….or not. Creates a little adventure for the customer….and while they’re looking for a container they may just find something else of interest to purchase. Gives the customer more control…..they select the flowers they like best and then look for the perfect vessel to put them in….and it saves you the time of arranging in a container…..it’s easier for the customer to transport home and the flowers are less likely to be damaged in transit if they’re wrapped. Might inspire some to pick up a bouquet and little container to give to someone to brighten their day at a small cost. Could be a win win. 😊💕

Happy to pass along anything that might help you…..and perhaps make things a bit easier. Will try to help as long as I’m here. I’ve recently received a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis….having chemo for palliative care…May extend my time a little they say. My faith in God is stronger than my faith in American medicine. I believe anything is possible even though it may not be probable and I believe in miracles and angels. Not quite ready to pack it in just yet. Your work is getting better and better as you have more flower options. You’re going to be great! Just have to find more ways to make it less stressful.

your mom's garden looked so beautiful! This growing season has been very weird, just like here in alberta. The cold, wet springs and even early summer held up many plants for us.

I can so relate to the roadside foraging! We have special wildflowers that grow along our property on the roadside (dirt country road). We’ve learned to use surveyors tape strung out on bamboo stakes to indicate to the Road Agent where not to mow. And then in late fall, they mow it as scheduled (or we mow it). My roadside Gentian comes in early fall and that is the most amazing blue. It would be so sad to lose it to the town mower 😬

Wow!! Those bouquets for the wedding looked amazing!! You have quite a knack for this Kristen! The others looked great too. Flower farming can be so challenging, you should be very proud. ☺️ By the way the garden is starting to look really 'ready'! We have the same problem here. Short stuff and tons of bug pressure this year. Love the video!! 🇨🇦Penny4a

OMG love your garden. I’m in Calgary zone 2b-3 and although I have a beautiful garden I never thought I could grow so many varieties as you do. Do you start your seeds every year or are most of those flowers perennials? You’re giving me hope that I could grow more varieties. Thank you

I start a TON of seeds. I could direct sow more, but our soil still doesn’t do direct sown seeds very well. (We’re still building it up)
