You are so creative, Mark. Love the simplicity of using only 3 colors. Spectacular idea of the split canvas. Definitely gives me a feeling of being close to nature. My all time favorite place to be is near the sea. Not just for the beauty of what I see, but the soothing sounds of the waves, the smell of the salty air and the gentle touch of the breeze. Love this piece.
I see a whale coming out of the water and splashing back down. Its so cool. I think from now on when watching your videos, I will watch them the first time with no sound and after that with sound. I like my interpretation of this one.
Mark this is beautiful kinda like an underwater vibe if you would embellished this piece with fish swimming, it would definitely be an underwater adventure
Oh Mark you are brilliant!!! I have been wanting to try a double technique but couldn't figure which techniques would work. Oh my you've given me such joy watching you.
Bonjour Mark !! 💫💙🤍🧡💙💫
Wow. 😲 Absolutely fantastic. Yet another favourite. Love the colours used on each side giving a very different version. The blues are so serene & calming on one side but show a stormy tempest sky on the other. Night & day? Calm & strong. OUR two sides? Again, thanks for sharing. Cheers, Adrienne from Oz. 🪃🇦🇺
Love the split canvas! Whole new approach to a typical Dutch pour. Dark blue side... evening sky. Lighter blue side... a tidepool. Look at the eyeballs peeking through. Clams? Crabs?😊 Beautiful!
Hi Mark, Great watching you work to create this masterpiece. With it turned anticlockwise, with the Dutch pour at the top, I feel as though I am diving into an oncoming wave, through the tranquil blue area, with the sand below and wave above, about to come crashing down. It's fabulous 💖 Best wishes, Alison Hood from Western Australia 💕
What a gorgeous creation! I never saw this technique before and I love it. It does give me a beachy vibe, especially the Dutch Pour. It reminds me of walking along the beach at night. I just love it! You make the Dutch Pour look so easy and from personal experience, it is not. I bought the hair dryer you use, but I think it is the artist that makes the creation so wonderful. Thank you for sharing. Denise ❤
Wow Mark, this piece is absolutely stunning. I love the colour palette and all the little details. If I look at it with the swipe to the bottom, I can see a waterfall that is kind of under water and on the Dutch pour side right in the middle I see the face of the harpy Celaeno from the film "The last unicorn". If the painting is the other way around the Dutch pour looks like water crashing into a cliff. Great job again 🖒💖
Love it !!! It is a ocean beachy kinda look. I just have a couple of questions. The section where the 2 meet in the middle..what if u just blew a small amount of the dark blue over into the lite blue just to combine them a bit?? Next question. Do u ever use the plain Elmer's s hool glue as a pouring medium?
Hey Mark. I tried a swipe on the only canvas I had at the time lol 15x30. I posted the video and it looked great until my light fell in it 😂 all I could do at that point was laugh and clean it up and try again, so that's what I did. It's okay, but I know I can do better and will next time. Lesson learned.
Oh no!!! At least you could laugh. But well done for seeing the best side of it and laughed it off. My camera has fallen into many paintings! Then I opt for the balloon dip! Haha
Hello Mark, I’ve just found you as I’m just starting my journey into paint pouring,, and this may sound like a weird question and sorry if it’s been asked before, ( not watched all of your vids just yet ) what do you do with the paint that’s been poured of the canvas ? I also do resin and wondered if there is a lot of paint waste and if it could be used in another craft. .? 😊
Welcome! Hope you enjoy your fluid art journey. Any paint that goes off the table I scrap up and either use as a new colour or if it’s muddy I just use it as a flow extender 👍🏻
Dutch Pours for me now is just paint and water unless I’m combining techniques like this one, which means I can use the same batch of paint for multiple techniques within one creation.
I'm a little confused because the first thing you did I thought might be boring but actually in the end I really prefer it very much to the other scene which I've seen a lot of. When you say blowtorch I'm thinking a hair dryer would work but I would like you to clarify that and also please clarify that medium that you have to add to one of the paints I guess to make it flow nicely again I'm speaking of the first part of the penny you did was quite frankly is the part that I prefer
Hi 👋 Check out the description where I list my paints and PM info. If you mean the CA in the gold it’s Australian Floetrol. Blow torch was used to get rid of air bubbles 👍🏻
Just beautiful..very ocean inspired and yes, night sky.❤❤❤
Yes, thank you 🙏
Blue is also my favorite color so many different shades of blue. Love this painting makes me feel like I'm at the beach under the night sky. Love it!

Thank you 🙏
