    The haters that say their 8 year old can do it is the ones that dont understand art and what it takes.. let them be haters.. they are the ones that dont follow their passion so they put others down.. pray for them 🙏🏼

Today was my first day watching you and I enjoyed every moment the cursing because that’s real your composition is fantastic and so beautiful! Thank you so much for posting and sharing.

      I've been doing this for a couple of years now and try and follow the directions as close as I can. I've gotten some decent results, but never anything close to this. I believe that all paint thin differently, set up differently. If I would have been messing around like he was, my paint would be already setting up. The set results I got was when they said 7-8 drops silicone I put about 20. I don't believe they are telling us every little detail.

    Hi! This turned out to be really fun! I was just sad that so many of your meticulous stripes poured off!😢 But, I was thinking, what if you prepared another canvas and basecoat and as you stretched it off, you added the poured off parts to that canvas and used it for another swipe and stretch? Highlight that cool stripe again! Enjoy!

    Take it my dear friend from a 71 year-old artist that art is very subjective to the person looking at it believe me not everybody thinks that looks like child’s play I don’t…… Keep your chin up and keep going. You never know what might happen to you in future!

    This really caught my eye. I've noticed in my life of creating, people always think it's easy until they do the work themselves. As an artist, there is color, composition, execution and finishing. Can it be copied, techniques, yes. But never the same result. Paint pouring is like chaos theory in motion.

    • @manolimotion

    Love it. I'm curious about the long, tedious black n white ring base coat. How would the finished product be different had it just been white or black? There's a couple corners that show the zebra look but was all that necessary when 90% is gone? Thanks.

    • @manolimotion
      @manolimotion  7 месяцев назад +1

      It was completely unnecessary. Originally I wanted more black and white lines in the painting but I did not layer the colors accordingly to do so. Therefore, it did not turn out as I intended. :-)

    Clearly there were a lot of haters, and I see those comments have vanished (which is good) but what I popped into the comments to say was, as someone who'd love to do this sort of art, I like your humility with being nervous and what you aren't comfortable with. A lot of artists who talk through their videos give it too much "omg hype!" (in my opinion, great artists, just not my kinds of videos, even though I love the paintings...)... but you had a really nice energy, and created a BEAUTIFULLY vivid piece! I love the vibrancy.

    Hi. I love your painting. And to your statement NO a child can’t do this. Lol. I never give advice, I learn from these videos. I learned a lot from you. The work you put into the black and white stripes was amazing. When you started to tilt, I wanted to tell you. Wait! Pour puddle paint around the main parts before you tilt. This would have prevented the black and white stripes from “ rolling over itself” and losing all of your hard work. Please try again and see if it works better.

    • @manolimotion
      @manolimotion  Год назад +2

      Thanks so much for the feedback! :-) And you are correct, my intention was to have more black and white stripes in the painting. I used more paint for this painting than I should have and most of the black and white spread off. But definitely gonna give it another shot.

    When this popped up in the videos on the side, I just had to watch. Those colours and the composition are magnificent. It certainly does take a lot of learning and experimenting to get to be this good! People who don't do this type of art have no idea what goes into it. Sure, some people do just chuck some paint on a canvas and it turns out without any composition, and I think it is those which gives us a bad name - to some. But far more people value what we do. I just had a peep and yours are all so amazing, you can be very proud of yourself. I have subscribed as I look forward to watching more. Best wishes, Alison Hood, from Western Australia 💕💖💕

    This is my first time watching you live and hey I got a problem with the f word myself LOL and what I really love about you is you share everything the size of your canvas your colors and what brands they are and you're consistencies, I don't think there's anything you left out that like myself would be curious about or wanting to know. And I love how you talk through the whole process. A lot of artists will share so much but not in the detail that you have I appreciate that and I think your pieces turn out gorgeous. So first away I don't have a problem with it. And thanks for all the tips. And I'll be watching you more. So thanks for sharing all that you do. Be safe and well, God bless.

    I love your work, it’s absolutely beautiful. It is a very accessible art form, but like you say… the prep and knowledge of how the paint and mediums interact takes much practice. I think you’re one of the best fluid artists on this channel… ignore the naysayers😉💕

    Give yourself some Grace, you do phenomenal work! Honestly.
    It's hard to listen when you're just experiencing and having some fun. We are ALL HUMAN. ART is ART and is meant to bring JOY, & figure out what works and what doesn't.
    I hope you brought yourself smiles like you did for me tonight. The plethora of colors brought me happiness, the swipes, and the I've not ever seen the white & varied colors of Floetrol together.
    👏 Job well done.💪

      I will seek out other videos of yours so I can become one of your supportive fans. While i don't believe in monetary support, I can still offer up honesty and what works while you teach us what you are doing. Being an artist is vulnerable because you have to put yourself out there into the World. It can be nerve racking as everyone has an opinion and at times people can be cruel.
      I truly wish you the best and enjoy the heck out of the mediums you currently are using.
      I know for myself being an Artist made me feel confident and i enjoyed the challenge yet self fulfilled. When i had to stop three years ago due to health issues, it has made me very sad. Now, I am watching other's videos and learning a new hobby of pouring paint, flip cups, blooms, fluid art, etc. It's interesting to watch. I'm so drawn to color combos and color palettes, swipes.
      What will you be showing us in your next video?

    • @manolimotion
      @manolimotion  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks so much! :-) It truly is a fascinating and therapeutic form of art. It makes me very happy that you understand the vulnerability of putting ourselves out there because people can be such assholes, lol! All the techniques take practice and trial and error but its important to remember to have fun and keep in mind why you were originally drawn to this art form. Its great you're able to learn a new hobby after dealing with health issues. I work in healthcare and understand the set backs that come from health issues. Dont be sad :-) It's great you found something that you're drawn to! I just posted my last video on 06/15/24. Let me know what you think. :-)

    I can’t even leave a comment asking a question for a creator on RUclips without somebody being a D!c% these days. Don’t worry about peoples stupid comments if they are going to watch your channel and they’ve got something to say about it then they’ve got nothing else to do anyway. I’m watching your channel because I think this is so cool and I love your process and I love how you talk through it. There have been some other artists whove said people would complain and say you talk too much or you do this or you do that - so they need to hop off and go to another channel then. I’ve been doing this for three years and I still suck. 😅 It’s addictive and it’s fun but it’s very hard and it’s exhausting and expensive so if they have an eight-year-old who can do this then they’ve spent lots and lots of money and their kids a genius. 😂

    Once again, I have to tell you I love your color palette - these are all my colors. This turned out beautifully. I especially loved the black and white stripes as your base -- great idea. I was hoping you would leave that beautiful black and white circle in the middle and work around it so that would draw your eyes right to the center -- maybe next time. I hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion: you might want to think about painting your edges first so that's one less thing for you to do at the end.😊

      Thnaks so much! :-) Yea, several fluid artists including myself get comments like that. I'm like "sure, have your 8-year old do it. They can also figure out how to properly prep the canvas, find the right consistencies, densities, and figure out how to mix their paints depending on which technique they are doing".

    I think he should have done something to create cells on the two white spots, so the red and orange would have shown through. But the way it turned out was absolutely beautiful regardless. I really enjoy watching him. Seems like someone I’d hangout with irl

    I'm sorry people have to be so negative. If you look at art hanging in the MET there are some paintings I would look at and think "I'm missing something, this seems like just paint splatter" however, there is a process. The artists energy is in the piece. I also realize that since art looks deceptively simple... I've struggled with some art styles before that look simple but aren't.
    Finally, if your 8 year old can do it then awesome! You have a little artist on your hands! Let them do it! You should be thanking the artist that inspired you to get your 8 year old to make art.

    That is so beautiful. Years ago when paint pouring came out I was negative on it because I thought it was a waste of paint and thought there was nothing to it. But I saw a painting I wanted to pour and did my research on how to do paint pouring and yes there is a lot to it not just putting paint down on a canvas. I got scared and bought everything but never tried it because of all the steps and science behind it ..

I paint as well & I appreciate the hard work you put in on a painting & believe me it's not as easy as it looks when you are going after a certain look or technique! Or in my case a really bad perfectionist that is good at some times going to far & messing it up sometimes! & yes a small cuss word might be heard sliding out from my lips too!! 😮You are so fun to watch & listen to!!
