The iPhone is just a monster in video way ahead of the competition, pixel sometimes sharpens the portrait photo too much, I mean nobody wants to know how many buttons he has on his face. The Note most of the time gives more like ready-to-share photos it looks more appealing to the eyes in my opinion. Great comparaison
6:40 this iPhone software blur still needs a lot of improvement. it blurs out the hair more than the Note 10+ did and if you look at his hand, you could see that it didn't blur the grass behind like Pixel 4 and Note 10+.
@Chris Hagan iPhone pictures look the most natural, this was always the iPhone's defining feature. Samsung's was always oversaturation to make pictures look vibrant. So your comment looks fake.
I think verge reviewer put it best. It was something like: "pixel phones have a look. They consistently nail that look. But sometimes that look isn't the best. Meanwhile the iPhone just tries to give you its best photo."

video overall, skin color + highlight management (HDR) + stability : iphone photo overall + color pop + firm contrast look: samsung macro photo + low light sharpness + avoiding chromatic aberration + nightmode: pixel I think all are big improvements, but every one of them has to step up their game next year to stay in the race. Competition is great. overall I would pick the iphone for this year.
This is the type of pictures my iPhone 11 produced. Skin tones always looked yellowish and smoothed over. I was disappointed enough that i went back to using my pixel 3.
For videos 1. iphone (holy smokes that dynamic range, although they have been ahead in video HDR for some time now) 2. pixel 3. note 10 (just look at the kids face when he go out to sun and his skin tones so sad) For photo 1.İphone's HDR is superior in that shot with the bush and its mostly good on other photos but this comes at the cost of contrast lacking in many photos. I do enjoy more accurate colors tho. The dark garage shot was very noticably clearer on the iphone as well. 2-3. Sometimes googles colder colour balance pays off 6:29 but sometimes it makes you a dead fish 5:29, i prefer samsung at 5:29. Both phones dynamic range are good. I like that star shooting thing in google. You could do it by placing it on a wall and initialize shooting after 5 sec. And colours are more accurate on pixel as far as tech chap shows. If i were going to buy a phone with unlimited budget it would definitely be iphone, those videos are simply gorgeous and HDR is generally really good. I also like more accurate colors and night mode is sharper. Then it would be pixel (omg mic is finally fixed) and then samsung.
Benn I believe all of the reviews to date have been on the pre-released software. I have heard that mentioned in several reviews and earlier pre-review thoughts.
The gap in photo quality between devices has reduced so much. This means for me that it's the other things like screen, speakers, software and battery life that are as important.
@@MASchlossi him not acknowledging it, says a lot! If you're doing a professional comparison with the best of the best in the business and we can see the difference/issue just as a viewer, why can't the TechChap see it on his own video, as a fulltime job?!
I am and Android user! 1. Video Quality: iPhone 2. Photo Quality: Pixel 3. Mic: iPhone and Note People saying Note has a better camera because of the color. That saturated or any other effect you can achieve with any filter, but you need to compare how the lens/software can capture what's more real, so you can play around with that whatever you want. That's why Pixel is the best on this factor.
I dont see ANY PRO with the iPhone 11 PRO. If I were to put it in order: 1. Note 10+ 2. Pixel 3. iPhone 11 Pro 0:44 Look at the shot of the Note 10+ its the perfect balance, the iPhone looks dull and washed out, the Pixel did a better job, and darken the photo. 1:28 Look at the green hat, how sharp and clear the image quality is, Note 10+ wins here. 1:38 Look at his jacket again, the Note 10+ is sharper more detail, while the detail is lost on the Pixel and the iPhone is blurry. 3:22 The Note 10+ is more vibrant and more cleaner shot, the iPhone here is over exposed. 3:40 Look at the bottom of the floor, the Note 10+ picked up all the details of the rocks and dirt on the button, while the iPhone didnt capture the lost detail. 4:34 Note 10+ wins again here, besides looking at the dog look at the background the road sings the pavement all is sharp, iPhone is blurred this out again here. 4:47 Note 10+ wins here again, look at the sharpness of the red, and letter inside the red mail box. And also look at the background all the sign and top roof and details are not lost. 4:51 iPhone is over exposed again here, Note 10+ wins here too. The trailer is washed out. 5:22 Again Note 10+ wins, its more sharp and more detailed. 5:39 Here you can see what I mean about washed out, this is even more washed out, Note 10+ wins here. The list goes on, there is no contest, there is no PRO with iPhone, Note 10+ wins in almost all conditions. Regardless. Note 10+ FTW.
Honestly I'm starting to think these reviewers say stuff because other reviewers say it, but it was a few times where I disagreed with what was said. All three are great cameras and seem to trade on display quality.
They're all fantastic, I think the 11 and Note 10 win purely because of having an ultrawide for its functionality but image quality is strikingly similar between the 3.
ABDULRAHMAN SALAH well iPhone 11 pro has some colors that are great. Also when holding an iPhone 11 pro max or just pro makes you feel very wired in a good way, I can’t explain the feeling but it just feels good. Also I since I own all these devices the iPhone has the best battery life than both. The note I like just for the reverse wireless charging, display kind of. And for pixel I just would not recommend as the screen just feels small.
Portraits are super crisp and sharp on pixel 4. iPhone is making all photos of people softer, beauty mode is off, but it looks like phone trying to take picture smoother anyway. The Note most of the time gives more like ready-to-share photos it looks more appealing to the eyes in my opinion.
Great comparaison
I feel like note images looks better compare to other two devices
6:40 this iPhone software blur still needs a lot of improvement.
it blurs out the hair more than the Note 10+ did and if you look at his hand, you could see that it didn't blur the grass behind like Pixel 4 and Note 10+.
It's always a hit and miss with these high-end devices, but in this case the Pixel is more consistent overall.
For me
Video: iPhone > Note > Pixel
Stills: iPhone = Pixel > Note
best buy if you care about camera: iPhone
kutturkuttur Agreed.
@Chris Hagan iPhone pictures look the most natural, this was always the iPhone's defining feature. Samsung's was always oversaturation to make pictures look vibrant. So your comment looks fake.
I think verge reviewer put it best. It was something like:
"pixel phones have a look. They consistently nail that look. But sometimes that look isn't the best. Meanwhile the iPhone just tries to give you its best photo."
@@KurticusZen iPhone definitely lacks the Pro mode settings Samsung has, but using the Auto is okay as far as it gives a good result. I wouldn't mind having the Note's manual mode on iPhone at all.
Note 10 Plus Improved ofter New update 😍📸
Nice review, I'm glad that you didn't have any bias to any brand.
Almost all reviews I've seen try to make their favorite brand the winner, but you not, you clearly tried to show different situations without giving them special advantage to any phone like the Apple, Samsung or Google fans reviewers do.
The Note 10 camera is undervalued.
This video is pure gold, liked and subscribed, love your channel
Thanks Jordan!
It’s seemed like some of the pictures from the iPhone the lenses should have been cleaned cause I didn’t notice it until the later part of the video. But maybe that was just me. 🤷♂️
Same, it feels like the lense was not clean. I get those kind of pictures with the dirty lense
true, I find this review a bit odd though... I’ve seen at least 10 others reviews of these phones compared and the results were very different in skin tones from the iPhone... even better than the note 10 so I don’t know that to believe. My college owns one, awesome results
Aziz Izgin yea that’s why I mentioned it cuz the pictures didn’t look quite the same as the other reviews I watched.
Pixel - 100% for being a king!
Note 10+ - 70% because contrast in dark areas!
iPhone 11 pro - 50% its fade and no contrast and seriously artificial
iPhone has blown the camera game out of the water so far, huge android fan but decided to dip for the 11 Pro Max and been blown away
Beautifully captured loved it!
Watching on my note10+5g amazing camera 😍
The Tech Chap, You Rock! Love your content. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks man! 👊
These phones are all good! Great photos!!
video overall, skin color + highlight management (HDR) + stability : iphone
photo overall + color pop + firm contrast look: samsung
macro photo + low light sharpness + avoiding chromatic aberration + nightmode: pixel
I think all are big improvements, but every one of them has to step up their game next year to stay in the race. Competition is great.
overall I would pick the iphone for this year.
Best comparison of flagships camera right now... For me it's the pixel itself... But i love the counting though ahahahaha
Note 10 wins it for me overall.
IPhone 2nd
Pixel 3rd
Its very close tho. However no wide angle on pixel is a dire situation.
Why's there a white haze over many of the iPhone pics?
Right
Most likely fingerprints on the lenses.
It's called "wanting too much hdr and forget that contrast matter too".
@@kamrankambang7953 You can crank up contrast afterwards, you can't crank up the dynamic range.
This is the type of pictures my iPhone 11 produced. Skin tones always looked yellowish and smoothed over. I was disappointed enough that i went back to using my pixel 3.
For videos
1. iphone (holy smokes that dynamic range, although they have been ahead in video HDR for some time now)
2. pixel
3. note 10 (just look at the kids face when he go out to sun and his skin tones so sad)
For photo
1.İphone's HDR is superior in that shot with the bush and its mostly good on other photos but this comes at the cost of contrast lacking in many photos.
I’m honestly surprised with how good the iPhone’s camera is - it’s by far my favourite of those three
Galaxy Note 10+ actually surprised me! overall i think i prefer the Note
Well let's wait and see on Friday when the final software releases for the Pixel 4 devices
There's a final software version releasing? Or are you referring to when the phones are available to the public on Thursday?
Benn I believe all of the reviews to date have been on the pre-released software. I have heard that mentioned in several reviews and earlier pre-review thoughts.
My pixel 4 xl arrives today (Tuesday) but I'm in the USA.
@@dyounggolfmaster Pre release software is a default when reviewing a phone prior to release date
True. Software update iOS 13.2 is also coming to the iPhone soon which is bringing a feature to the camera called Deep Fusion.
Great video. Will you be doing the Pixel 4XL and P30 Pro?
The gap in photo quality between devices has reduced so much. This means for me that it's the other things like screen, speakers, software and battery life that are as important.
Great video. I have yet to see someone compare sports shots.
Looks like there is something wrong with your iPhone's camera, the haze you see is not normal.
Btw, I loved the microphone test on these phones!
Thanks, i wanted to say that :) i have an 11 and the camera is not looking like that.
@@MASchlossi him not acknowledging it, says a lot!
If you're doing a professional comparison with the best of the best in the business and we can see the difference/issue just as a viewer, why can't the TechChap see it on his own video, as a fulltime job?!
StrikerXL because most probably he is paid by google or samsung. Or, but a big OR: he did not notice it :) but it’s strange nontheless.
@@MASchlossi It's indeed very strange. Either he did notice after he uploaded and didn't care, or it's something else.
StrikerXL oh well. We know the truth :) but is misleading
I don't comment usually on videos I watch but this is a good comparison that I have to commend you, sir. Good one!
1:05 Dynamic Range of iPhone is miles better in videos 🤯
Note 10+ is way better in selfie videos but in rear camera videos the iPhone 11 Pro Max definitely comes in top 😍😍😍😍
Note 10 looks like shit in selfie mode.
NOTE 10 PLUS 😍 ( COMMENTED FROM NOTE 10 PLUS ) 🙃
I am and Android user!
1. Video Quality: iPhone
2. Photo Quality: Pixel
3. Mic: iPhone and Note
People saying Note has a better camera because of the color. That saturated or any other effect you can achieve with any filter, but you need to compare how the lens/software can capture what's more real, so you can play around with that whatever you want. That's why Pixel is the best on this factor.
Pixel is a winner in portrait shots. I am an iPhone user though.
The Note pro mode is great... for those that don't like high saturation, on that mode you can lower that and a lot more.
1. Note 10+
2. Pixel 4 XL
3. iPhone 11 Pro Max
I dont see ANY PRO with the iPhone 11 PRO. If I were to put it in order:
1. Note 10+
2. Pixel
3. iPhone 11 Pro
0:44 Look at the shot of the Note 10+ its the perfect balance, the iPhone looks dull and washed out, the Pixel did a better job, and darken the photo.
Personally, i prefer the pixel 4, but that’s just me.🤷🏼♂️
Useless
Honestly I'm starting to think these reviewers say stuff because other reviewers say it, but it was a few times where I disagreed with what was said. All three are great cameras and seem to trade on display quality.
Glad i own the s10 plus....Team Samsung!!
Agree. Same camera as the Note 10+ The S10+ is the best all round phone on the market.
They're all fantastic, I think the 11 and Note 10 win purely because of having an ultrawide for its functionality but image quality is strikingly similar between the 3.
I can't even decide who's the best overall 😂😂😂 The three phones are just incredible
Samsung made your photos yellow in some shots, that's the same issue old telephones used to have when they can't handle the light or colour properly.

I wonder whether additional photo lens from the Moment, for example. Anamorphic or wide-angle is a game-changer on a pixel phone. 🤔
Thank you for the comparison.
I think the iPhones lens was dirty, but overall for me it's a tie for for best out of the note and pixel (all were good)
1:03 this is a day and night difference. the iphone is the only one keeping the foreground well exposed while not blowing out the highlights.
