I actually had to watch this in 6th grade when my class was helping the kindergarteners. Everyone in my class was horrified and the teacher completely oblivious looked back and said "What's the matter? You don't like Cars?" I did not get to see the rest of the movie that day, but I can only imagine the horror of the children as the murder scene began. It is this film that truly made me realize the true horrors of the animated world. I had never wanted to return to this hellscape. But here I am today

These videos help me get to sleep in the evenings, they are such a joy. Chris is extremely funny in his commentary and it’s so nice to listen to these.
Fun fact: Ratatoing was dubbed in New York. You know, I think there’s potential in a movie that’s a commentary/satire if mockbusters. Imagine the star of a mockbuster leaving their film upon learning what their film is and setting out to create their own identity. Also unrelated but had another studio like Studio Trigger, Laika, Warner Bros, Sony Animation, etc. got the rights to do a Mario movie rather than Illumination, it would’ve been the perfect opportunity to make it the anti-Illumination/Modern Dreamworks movie like how Shrek was the Anti-Disney movie.
Your idea of a Mario movie sounds way better than whatever Illumination is going to do with it. It would at least take chances while staying true to the Mario that we know and love.

Usually, they blow their budget on the cast rather than the animation itself. Even if Nintendo is heavily involved, my expectations on it are still low.
This specifically, is a film very close to my heart. I’ve loved the Cars series all my life, and when I was very little my grandmother, not knowing any better, gave me this movie on DVD. I still have it, and watch it every now and then. I love this movie so much.

The gulags weren't established during Stalin's reign. They were put in place by the Tsar before them and the Soviets improved the conditions of the gulags but ultimately they are still work camps. The during the reign of Stalin they were worse than any other Soviet leader but the death count was 1/3 of the Tsarist gulags. (This isn't a defence of Stalin just a little fact check)
Correction my source says that essentially that there were work camps in Tsarist Russia but they weren't referred to as Gulags and that the Soviet ones were worse especially under Stalin. So my bad, I wasn't exactly married to that position. Given my burning hatred towards the Soviet Union

@@TheGhost-rp3ko If this were any other studio, you may have a point, but Illumination is known for playing really safe with the animation and jokes. Usually, they blow their budget on the cast rather than the animation itself. Even if Nintendo is heavily involved, my expectations on it are still low.

This specifically, is a film very close to my heart. I’ve loved the Cars series all my life, and when I was very little my grandmother, not knowing any better, gave me this movie on DVD. I still have it, and watch it every now and then. I love this movie so much.

The gulags weren't established during Stalin's reign. They were put in place by the Tsar before them and the Soviets improved the conditions of the gulags but ultimately they are still work camps. The during the reign of Stalin they were worse than any other Soviet leader but the death count was 1/3 of the Tsarist gulags.
(This isn't a defence of Stalin just a little fact check)

Correction my source says that essentially that there were work camps in Tsarist Russia but they weren't referred to as Gulags and that the Soviet ones were worse especially under Stalin. So my bad, I wasn't exactly married to that position. Given my burning hatred towards the Soviet Union
