I really dislike that a factor for a battle to get credibility from people is that it needs to be a club banger.
A battle should be depicted on the words said, who outwitted the other, and who undecisively penned the better verses. The beats should be the cherry on top and it should set the mood to lyrics setting the tone. But it shouldnt be solely chosen on if you can bump to it on the dance floor.
I also feel people are too sensetive to handle how far a battle can go. If a person goes down certain lanes, expect the opponet to go further until someone taps out. Battling is a mental game, and its no holds barred on a lyrical level always. 😊
