One unintended positive of the sorts with Blizzard's decline is that at least some of the Blizzard community has branched out a bit including myself. Before WC3 reforged fail and the mass dev exodus in SC2 there was some crossover and interaction between the Warcraft and Starcraft communities (and HotS), but not really between the Blizzard side and the Microsoft side. At least I never knew all this time there was this parallel universe almost known as the Age of Empires community. For me for one it's been fun to explore the AoE games but it's also been a blessing to see other cool content creators from that side of the RTS universe like Viper, Ornlu the Wolf, and Assusie Drango. For me people like Grubby, the Back 2 Warcraft folks, and some single player/ co op SC2 content providers like Jayborino and CTG are always going a special place in my gaming heart. But it's been cool seeing some great people on the Age of Empires side.
Hey Grubby, that was great! I've always speculated that WC3/SC players would overperform in the Age of games because of their micro. It's like a surprise kick in the shin for unexpecting players. Hoping to see the collab continue, even if just for giggles!
Well, the winner of last year's Age of Queen's Queens Clash silver league actually came over from SC2 :) but other than that, I think people underestimate what kind of stressful game Age 2 can be
Watched the whole video. I played aoe2 alot back in the time before we had internet, but never picked it up again. Played blizzard rts afterwards. But i do love aoe4 now, so maybe i will pick aoe2 up sometime aswell. This video was rly great. Having viper as a coach to explain everything is just awesome. Thanks for uploading a video on this channel again :D
I got a 43 inch not too long ago, if the map was not a diamond shape, you would be able to see the entire map all the time, it's insane. It's a game changer for sure. I would love to see a pro play at higher zoom and see how if they change the way they control the map. Also, crazy to see the growth from this match to later ranked games, looking forward to more AOE2 content
Regarding the vills walking away from the turkey, you could see on 0.25 speed that he actually selects them before his last right click. 36:00 and onwards
Grubby and Viper collab stream? A surprise to be sure but a welcome one
I love these collab streams! Two RTS Legends teaching each other their respective games, AWESOME!
The Collaboration Need, but Don't Deserve. 😁
Omg its happening!?! Good to see you back on AoE Grubby. Idk why I was recommended your new HoTS video instead of this
Ha really should have given Grubby the grid hotkeys, would have made things so much easier for him.
That is very cool thumbnail. Looking forward for more AoE II !
Oh boy cant express how excited i am for this
Loved this sooo much, thanks to you both

Love some aoe2 content! Do you have any plans to play any more aoe2?
Lets go guys sub to Grub!! I just did for the first time and he starts making content like this??! Awesome.
Try holding shift while clicking to move with scout. You can que moves so scouting become easier. Extremly useful in start of game.
ermm he does this.
@@GoodOlKuro In the early game he moved the scout like every few sec but maybie i didnt notice. Just saying, no ofc.
@@adampopovsky9305 oh yes. maybe I remember from a later part in the video. but he shift queues a lot.
subbed for more aoe
AoE 2 is more alive than AoE 4, will you move more into AoE 2?
