This cake was soooo good. Exactly as described - light, fluffy and full of flavour! We had it with fresh locally grown strawberries and whipped cream (for some). A big hit with my family!
I just finished making the cake so far it looks exactly like the video and the batter tasted amazing ^-^ I'm gonna fill it with blueberry jam and frost it with buttercream I'll let you know how it taste

They do that to get people to their websites for more traffic which = $$. When they don't include the recipe on RUclips (where they're also paid) I just skip it and go to one who gives the whole recipe in the description. There are plenty to choose from, why waste time with people like this?
The portions appear to be bigger in comparison to the recipe on your website. I followed 90% of the recipe.. I added brown sugar rather than using grandulated. Baking powder instead of the baking soda. Its what i had. Hoping it will turn out yummy since its baking now. Btw i read that if you use baking powder rather than baking soda. You should use 3x the amount of baking soda requested.
I agree with so many comments about the exclusion on measurements. But my comment is only a lazy person does not include measurements that are recognised globally especially when the same comment has appeared often.
Thanks for the reply. However, I didn't make my comment clear and my apologies for that. So I'll try again. Firstly, I did notice that the link for the recipe was there, but what I was referring to was the "baking conversion you use". It would be helpful to viewers globally to know what conversion you're using as a lot of websites and videos have both. Cups are different all over the globe. That was my point. Furthermore, I do like the look of your recipe and would very much like to try it and provide feedback. But only if you can tell me your baling conversion, then I can convert it to grams or oz.
Ingredients ¾ cup butter, softened 1 ½ sticks 1 ½ cups sugar 15 ounces whole milk ricotta cheese 3 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 large lemon, zested and juiced ½ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups flour powdered sugar for dusting top of cake (optional) Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 inch springform pan using butter and powdered sugar; set aside. In a large mixing bowl or stand up mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until combined. Add in the ricotta cheese and blend until light and fluffy, about 4 to 5 minutes. Mix in the eggs, one at a time. Add in the vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon juice and mix to combine. In the same bowl, stir in the baking soda and salt. Lastly, add in the flour and mix until just combined, scraping down the sides of bowl to full incorporate all of the ingredients. Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing the collar and base of the pan. Cool on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
