I think Sazz wrote the script and Marshall stole it. It explains how well the script captures the trio and why Charles likes it so much. And why Marshall has imposter syndrome. And Stubbins and Marshall have met before.

The motives have never been clear / well thought out schemes in all the seasons. They all happened in the heat of the moment. No murderer’s character got elaborated until the end. That’s why motives were never the way to look for clues in this series. Clues were from naming conventions, classic references and a general idea of how characters are introduced. Just my observations.

Yes that's why the questions Go: the who, the what the why and why now, that part comes last in this particular series. The problem is we are not sure on the Who so this season is playing both sides of that coin. Seems like right now the target was actually Sazz since no more attempts on Charles.

Random pieces of info that jumps out to me:
    - Sazz Pataki = HELGA Pataki (main character on Nickelodeon animated show, “Hey Arnold.” Helga’s character was masculine and aggressive (despite the dress and bow) and obsessed with Arnold and had a secret shrine of him in her closet, even though to him and the outside world, she acted like she hated/was annoyed by Arnold)
    - all the PIG references this season & all the references to “3’s/triplets = 3 Little Pigs? Are all the 3’s and pig references connected, especially with the letter “E’s” like the one on Rudy’s chest, being written like the number 3? This episode hints that there may be 3 killers.
    - also with all the pig references this season, it made me remember a pig reference from last season. In season 3, wasn’t it proven to be Ben that drew that pig on his mirror in his dressing room in lipstick after he ate the cookies? That pig reference with Ben from last season tied in with Ben’s stunt double “Glen” appearing this season is pretty suspicious to me
    - M. Dudenoff = Dr. Maggie Dudenoff? Do we know Dr. Maggie’s last name, assuming Maggie is her first?
    - Marshall’s last name being PEEPope. Every season the killer’s name relates to them being the murderer S1) Jan Bellows S2) Poppy Butler S3) Donna (belladonna poisoning) & Cliff. So “peep” would correlate with a murder we’ve been made to believe was done with a sniper rifle from a long distance across the courtyard. Sniper rifles usually have a peephole/scope to help get a clear visual on the target.

Wow! Every point is legit! I was also wondering if Sazz was Helga. Which means Mr. Pinkeye would have known her as Helga. I think you are right there are 3 killers, maybe more as in Orient Express. Because Marshall and Glenn looked at each other in a way that brought "Perfect Strangers to mind"

Marshall said he had 20/10 vision and they never actually checked his alibi but he seems unlikely murderer but might be next victim trying to overcome his imposter syndrome and approached someone whose shoe print matched and got it shot. Marshall has something in his OG script that caught Sazz's attention because he has something wrong about Jan or Charles since she knows them BOTH so well. I heard two shots and Marshall and skinny sister are missing and maybe they got shot or stunt doubles got shot. Howard said "THEY".
The timeline seems off if Sazz died when she left to get the wine because it did NOT take them 12 minutes to make their podcast back at Oliver's when the incinerator cut the power. That's not possible right?
We know someone else has Sazz's phone and might've played the message he or she got originally from Sazz for Bev's voicemail to mess with the timeline!
Sazz may have talked to Marshall or the Sisters about her concern first and NOT Bev and that's why she got killed...
    My questions are:
How did Sazz know about the script?
What did Sazz see in it that was a" big problem"?
Was Sazz asked to be in it?
Did Sazz have connection to Dudenoff because face scribbled out and is Helga still in play?
    Who poisoned Winnie and why?
Did Jan tell Sazz she did NOT poison Winnie?
HOW DID Bev end up at Sazz's shack?
Is the gun from the security guard Jan killed?
Why would Brothers sisters do it? Is that a RH, because Marshall saw maybe another footprint that matches on someone else
Is it 3 people not 2 BECAUSE one to shoot, one to clean and dump, and one to be in basement to incinerate because that's not close to Charles's apartment IF 12 minutes.
Is Glenn dead? Or just fighting mice still? Lol
    Would love some answers

@@MovieFiles it's not always insightful. Just wanted to say IF I was going to do something with a Brothel connecting long game all seasons I would have the Brothel probably run by Bunny's mom secretly and why she had the porny painting of Charles's dad and how she used the secret ways to get blackmail and stuff. That might be how one of Ben's sewing ladies go into that biz who said she was a ho. Lol. . Also it could tie to some jewelry Tim Kono bought, but that's a stretch. I don't know how that ties to Winnie getting poisoned or why someone wants Sazz gone or Charles either.
My timeline for while series of off now so Was Jan around when that guy dated "Helga" she sounds crazy like Jan style?
Finally, was Sazz desperate enough to take her own death as a way to avoid breaking up with Jan? She had to know Jan was capable.of escape since she apparently taught her some parkour...I mean who else could Sazz have meant that wasn't Charles or Jan that she needed to get away from and was bad for her other than Cookie, who left already or maybe Scott Bakula lol.
Oh, We know.Charles's dad was in jail with dangerous types and might be somewhat related, but we know little about Sazz really

    Thoughts:
Sharing before watching so sorry if you mention these!
“Tighten it up” both Bev and the detective say this at different points, do they know each other? Is Bev somehow working for the cops?
Going into the lift/elevator, the brothers sisters are moving a long case that the camera kind of focuses on, could there be a rifle inside?
Oliver mentions a lesbian stage manager, is Bev a sort of ‘stage manager’ or are the brothers sisters? Could the lesbian stage manager be someone Sazz was seeing after splitting up with Jan?
Does Glenn Stubbins know the writer? He asks when he grew the beard, I don’t think he was mistaking him from Mabel in that moment, I think he recognised the writer… and if Glenn knows him, then maybe Sazz did too since Glenn and Sazz knew each other!
The timeline could be right because two people did it, but I also wonder if there are tunnels connecting to the westies too… that would cut down on time a significant amount!

Glenn Stubbins does say "lassie" when commenting on the beard, but that could have been a joke with the writer from a previous encounter because the writer was so clean-shaven. That could be one reason why the writer (Marshall) was so self-conscious about how he looks. Also, what is Marshall's exact last name? I've seen it in different places as Peepope, P. Pope, and B. Pope. Does anyone know what it actually is and how do we know for sure?

I have a Marshall P Pope theory in my video for this episode-one I've been saying since episode one: Marshall P. Pope stole Sazz's script, but was introduced by Helga who wanted Sazz for stunt double for her, but was unsuccessful in landing jobs due to her physical traits (just like Sazz). All of this made Sazz realized it's time to hang up the stuntman cape and also realized her script is missing. The rest in in my video but that's the basic gist of it the Marshall theory/Four Killer Theory

Correct me if I am wrong, but I remember that the west tower used to be connected but because of a brothel it is no longer connected. There has to be a way to cut through but they building just doesn’t want people to. I think Marshall did it by himself by cutting through a sort cut. We’re at the midpoint of the season, and they’re throwing clues after clues at us-BUT, nothing in the way of Motive. So, all the clues are just clever distractions. I’m like Detective Williams, I’m frustrated that the plot is not focused; she complains about the numerous murder boards-which is a sign that the Trio are not close to solving the Crime.
Many viewers, like myself, has always assumed there were two people involved in Sazz’ shooting (notice I didn’t say murder) because of the time element-that was confirmed in this episode.
Moving on to the Suspects, I’m sticking with my earlier theory-that you included in your Suspects today. I believe Loretta is the Shooter, and either Rudy or “The Junk” guy helped her. The Motive? Loretta wants to prevent her past secret being exposed: that she was once a Sex Worker, when there was a Brothel in the West Tower. Sazz found clues about the Unsolved, Cold Case in the West Tower-the killing related to the Brothel; and Loretta is afraid that the movie, in exploring the Brothel killing (that Loretta did NOT commit) would unmask Loretta as one of the Working Girls. That would destroy Loretta’s life, and she would lose Dickie, Oliver, and her now successful career in Hollywood.
BTW, there is a poster (in Marshal’s apartment) of the film “Blow Up”-which is about a “possible illusion” of a murder. I believe that theme will be played upon in next week’s episode, when the Brothers Sisters are filming their documentary.
Bottom Line: We MUST get the Motive before we can zero-in on a Suspect, and Solve the Crime.

It seems there are multiple stories happening here. Like solving Zoe and Tim Kono's murders in season one and how we thought they were connected.
All the talk about trio's this episode made me think of the Soup family. I know they said pink eye guy was with them but what if he wasn't? Inez could be the clean-up guy, the daughter is the shooter and the dad is the muscle. Could explain another reason why the parents want the daughter to keep quiet and why she wants out so badly. We could be getting led astray by another theory i had about Marshall stealing Sazz's script (just like we were being led astray by the trio investigating the Dimas' in season one while Jan was right under their noses) when the soup family could be the actual culprits. They have a potentially perfect "How". We just need a clearer picture on the "Why" and "Why Now".

      @LanahB 13 дней назад

A few things. The vm was left on Bevs phone, who was in LA, at 11:07 LA time. From a LA 213 phone number. But SP was in NY. So does that mean SP called Bev at 2:07 AM NY time? So the party in the Arconia was going past 2AM and SP was shot around 2 AM? I cant believe they would make such a huge, obvious continuity mistake. So I must be confused. Next. Are we to believe that this hunk swimmer/actor guy in his late 20s, early 30s is interested in 70s old lady Loretta? Huh? Also makes no sense.
One thing Im thinking is here we are in Ep 5 and there is no way the show is making it so obvious that the Brothers did it. So that has to be a RH. Other thought on the SP vm is perhaps thats something Bev managed to create through prior recorded conversations and/or auditions with SP with editing and then had a different phone from someone in LA call her phone and play the recorded (edited) message...specifically for alibi. Bev is much more sus than the Brothers for me at this stage.

@@MovieFiles I just thought the incinerator is like 9 floors down and that could take 12 minutes just that part. Lol. Seems weird that they could leave the party and make an ending to their podcast in 12 minutes, right?? They just got emails from Bev Melon that night right??

My main suspects have been Tawny and Trina until now, and they have a PA. We understand that he had done errands for them, with the flyers, and for Howard.
List of shooting victims (only heard two):
1- Charles's new stunt double: They thought it was Charles? (The trailer shows them wearing the same photoshoot outfits when they visit his sister, Melissa McCarthy).
2-Tawny's absence on set is a diversion that makes her a suspect, but I won't be surprised if she is a victim.
3- The Twins' assistant knew too much about their whereabouts.
4- Marshall spent too much time with the Trio and probably met Sazz and Glen in WEHO, which inspired him to write about them.
5- Bev got too close with Mabel and offered future projects.
Someone is playing a long game; they want to silence them as a warning.
Note - Most scenes in the trailer were shown in the first 5 episodes.

I think Ben got shot, Marshall got discovered by Ben when he said “when did you get a beard?” But because of the rat illusions they disregard it. After seeing the murder board he makes Charles question himself that one person could do all that, after Marshall makes a comment. Once confirming hearing they now have top suspects, he shoots Ben who probably knows who he really is. They’ll think Oliver was the target, but that never miss line comes in handy.

Good observations, Elliot! I have to say these gun fakeouts are getting tiresome! Just like Bev was not going to shoot the trio, I doubt someone would just shoot someone at a photo shoot (ha! Pun intended).
They say that most victims are murdered by someone they know. Sazz knew Bev Melon but not closely, and I don’t think she knew the Brothers sister at all. If Sazz was the target, ANOTHER stuntperson was the culprit, definitely someone in Concussions, likely Glenn Stubbins! Someone who knows NY, and knows the Arconia. Like Bunny, Sazz’s last day consisted of visiting people and making plans that others may not have approved of. The fact that she visited Concussions, made a phone call about a potential problem, and was killed, can’t be a coincidence. I think she confronted someone about an incident. When Bev fired a gun she thought was a prop, I wondered if either Sazz was killed bc someone mistook a real gun for a fake one, or if a stunt person did the same and killed someone accidentally (a la Alec Baldwin). I think that moment will trigger (again, pun intended) some epiphany. My sister theorized that getting from one side of the building to the other via the roof could be done in 12 minutes, even with 2 people, something stunt people do all the time. Hmm
