WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS - DID THE “I’M WATCHING YOU” MESSAGE CALL BACK TO SEASON ONE?

    • @thomasahearn4142
      @thomasahearn4142 3 дня назад +4

The "I'm watching you" note the trio get matches the note on Jan's door on Season 1. And of course that note's handwriting matched the one on Oliver's door when he discovered that Winnie had been poisoned. Maybe the poisoner was worried the trio would find out what happened to Dudenoff. So we have to ask ourselves who would want to murder a film professor. Someone he flunked perhaps? Having said that, my assumption was they would only reveal who poisoned Winnie in the final season and we know that Season 5 is in the works.

    I see two possibilities here:
    1. The trio are on the right track. They’re the targets, and this case will connect back to all the loose ends from Season 1 (which I’d love).
    2. The trio are on the entirely wrong track. Stunt people (at least Sazz and Glen) are the intended targets, in which case, I have no idea who the murderer is - though I’d love for it to be Marshall, just to see what Jin Ha (his actor) would do with that. (RUclips recommended a recording of his performance of “Wait For It” from Hamilton, and it blew me away! If you haven’t heard it, you should look it up.)
And if this is the way we’re going, maybe Sazz and Dudenoff’s murders aren’t connected, and the isolated murder of Sazz and attempt on Glen will be solved, but we won’t get a clear answer on who’s “watching” the trio until next season.
PS - I was gradually getting on board with the wild idea that Glen did not mistake Marshall for Mabel, but had seen him as a woman before (since he called him “lass”), especially after I learned Jin Ha has already played a role in his stage career that would fit with this quite nicely. (I was thinking maybe Marshall is or was a stuntman who doubled for women like Sazz doubled for men, which would connect to the “stolen script” theory.) But before mentioning the beard, Glen says when they walk up, “Ah, it’s my favorite trio!” So, I’ve officially gotten off that train. But I’m still rooting for Marshall to be a murderer. ☺️

I think the previous season gives us hints :
    Season 1
    Bagels are mentioned a lot!

    Season 2
Poppy (a type of bagel, is the killers)
    Season 2
    Parents are a theme
    👇
    Season 3
    Mother and son killers
Season 3 and season 4 have these in common :
    Twins/triplets
Charles doppelgängers (multiple Charles look a likes are in the elevator in season 3)
    Pig (insult and animal)
    Fish (name and animal)
    Bathrooms :
Charles get locks in bathroom flushes his friend a fish (3)
Charles saves the fish from ‘assassination attempt’ by scooping him up in a container.
Charles scoops Sazz’s ashes up into a container in a bathroom (4)
Police want to ‘search Bathroom for clues’ after Jan escapes.
    Two Pigs found in bathrooms
    - one dead and one alive.
Charles has Sazz ashes but sees her ‘alive’ in bathroom mirror. Maybe she was the one who was going to ‘squeal’ and Perhaps because she over heard something in a bathroom, just like Loretta figures that in season 3

I think he was shot because the sister moved Oliver over and Glen wasn't supposed to be there so it's misdirection if I'm a show writer, but yeah I get why people think that Marshall is the bad guy and faking all the awe shucks, clumsy antics like a Mabel fan boy, jar jar Binks sith lord. Lol. Bev Melon is hardcore enough to drink pain meds and lie about it. She set up the shoot and mirrors. How do they even know what our Trio was wearing when they first met anyhow? It's a podcast😆 unless watching old cameras hidden in Arconia or something 🤔 and Bev was in Sazz's shack with a guN, presumably one Jan stole from guard in jail break I suppose. She is not good eyesight so if Sazz and Glen not targets, she is first on my list. Also, I think Jan might've had a hand in writing the script because she and Charles were flirting as she helped him Season 2 and might've written it then because "thumping brain" sounds a bit like they way they talked and played scrabble too. It's an odd term for a man to write and be so complimentary to Charles, unless it was Inez who wrote it because she would also like to Thump Charles . 😂😮🤔

One thing that kinda stood out to me around episode 5 and even more in Episode 6 is that the killer clearly has access to now Mabel’s, Charles, and Oliver’s rooms. It should also be noted that with the same “I’m watching you font” that was sent to Jan’s room tells me we’re dealing with someone at least since Season 1 and also a connection to theater and can get into the trios room. There’s actually 2 people who fit the description.
1 is Howard but I don’t think it’s him since he with when the trio gets sent the I’m watching but it could theoretically be the coconspirator
The 2nd is actually who I think is at least one of the killer is Lester the Doorman. There’s been reference to a serial killer since season 1 and he can apperantly just walk into all the rooms like we saw in episode 5 (if I’m correct) where he also mentions he was in broadway!!! It also alleviates the distraction needed to get by Lester that Charles notes in his reenactment of the crime in episode 5.

  • @brandonhicks9926

    I have 2 theories:
Sazz and Glen were the intended targets. The killer shot Glen but didn’t anticipate the metal plate. Both victims have been stuntmen so far, so we need to find the correlation as to why and why now.
Here’s a possible theory: Sazz found out that Marshall stole her (or someone’s) script for the movie. She ended up mentioning at Concussions she knew something about the movie, so the killer took her out and is trying to take out anyone she might have told as well, which would be stuntmen.
There was also that one man that walked past Howard’s camera during the emergency meeting, turned his face towards camera, and said “I’m sorry.” That same man then walked over to the table where Marshall was standing and Marshall glanced in his direction right before he stumbled over the table and knocked things over. I think Marshall recognized him in some way. Maybe a twin? It was a very quick background thing but Marshall left the room pretty quick after that.
I also think Dudenoff has been dead for a while. Oliver mentioned a similar blackout in the past, which we now know was caused by the incinerator. I think it’s possible he died of natural causes. Murder or not, though, I think the Westies covered it up and cashed his checks to continue getting low rent apartments. Vince and Rudy seemed very surprised that Dudenoff could possibly be back in town.
Theory 2: The Westies are working together because of their jealousy of the Brothers Sisters being favored by Dudenoff. After the reveal they were all in film school together, it made me start reevaluating the Westies as suspects. They claim they’re big fans of the trios podcast (when literally no one else in the building is). That could be to deflect suspicion. Vince Fish’s pink eye “hopped” eyes. Maybe he wasn’t a great actor in film school (per his own words) but maybe he had a gift for makeup and merely forgot which eye was supposed to have it.
If the I’m watching you message does tie back into season 1, then the Westies would have been around back then, despite us not knowing them at the time.

I have been wondering about the bullet too. They found a casing in the Dudenhoff apartment, But there was no mention of finding a bullet in the incinerator - so is it in Charles apartment? Everyone is assuming the casing is from the killing shot, maybe it was a prop from a film. Like the tinsel left over from the open credits of the Brothers' film. Then the killer could have been in Charles apartment, shooting west. Maybe they were interrupted while hiding cameras - thinking everyone was down at Oliver's for the opening night after party.

greattt point, but then the bullet hole from the shot from the last episode leaves out pretty similar marks on the window to what was found in Charles's apartment so i am thinking, it is going to be a bullet hole if the production team puts in effort to make it similar. in that case, putting two and two together, like he theorized in the video, the bullet might have hit the window going through sazz. but how plausible it actually is in real life? some bullets are made to stay in the body and some might hit a bone and then might get stuck- so leaves us with another option of the killer especially taking it out but then that would not make any sense either.

My money's on Marshall and Vince (but that could change 20 times by the end of the next episode)
Vince now fits the Lincoln/actor theory. We only saw his pinkeye after he left the room for a while, maybe he was doing something to make his eye swell so his story checks out? Vince could have killed Dudenoff (maybe he was jealous of the Brothers sisters) before taking out Sazz to cover his tracks?
Maybe Marshall tailed Sazz to concussions where Glen saw him so he has to cover his tracks. We also know he has 20/10 vision so he could be our sniper while Vince cleans up. He's also getting way too involved in the investigation imo.
Marshall's motive and reason for teaming up with Vince are still a mystery to me (maybe he's the one posing as Dudenoff, but that's a long shot) but I like how the rest of this could play out.

My theory is IF Sazz is alive, which I am doubting now, it would be to specifically lure the trio to look into Dudenoff’s death. Like how Sazz told Charles she had to tell him something important and she was brushed off, she decided to fake her death specifically to push the trio into the path of finding out about Dudenoff because they think they’re hunting down her murderer. Heck the shooting at Glen might’ve been her on purpose. Glen and Sazz were close, and he was ready to jump through a window for simply the chance at a gig, that if he was specifically shot in the head knowing he would survive it because of the plating. It’s weird for the shooter to go from shooting Sazz in the chest to going to headshots on a person

Sazz suspected him and he + whoever he's working with (he's the 'nice' killer with the rug promo, probably) tried to get rid of her --- so she was the actual target all along. I also think Marshall shot Glenn because he recognized him in the other episode and made that beard comment, so he felt threatened.

Double P, I am sold with the Marshall theory since Glen recognized him (suggesting he's been on another set before). But I do believe Marshall is just a pawn in the killer(s) game.
As for Dudenoff, the woman on the Ham radio pretty much hints that Sazz discovered he died (or murdered) and probably Dudenoff was killed by one(or more) of the Westies because of the rent thing. Plus they have this weird supply of ham.
Here's the kicker, I think the next target is Mabel since the killer(s) tried shooting Charles (killing Sazz), and tried killing Oliver next (maybe?) which injured Glen and Zach, so I'm just following a pattern.
P.S. I bet all our theories will be thrown out the window with another epic episode next week!

Glen recognizing Marshall seems to be 'it'. Who would be his partner?

    • @amandachilds5290
      @amandachilds5290 2 дня назад

I agree Mabel is Next to be targeted but zi think the comment about Marshall looking like her is to set him up to get shot at instead of her since once he removed his beard and glasses he is her height and build and coloring with wide cheeks. Glen got confused so maybe the shooter is not good eye sight or has been using the bad quality cameras to shoot and is getting the wrong people because of that. Bad eyesight is maybe Bev Melon or Vince Fish. We all know she thought the twins were identical and wears glasses and was with a gun in Sazz's shack. Vince has the scribbled out picture. The Marshall thing is either they got really sloppy and didn't check his alibi or he isn't the guy and like Marshall they seek his help or he offers like how Howard and Eva did to get the sticky mats down. Marshall watched the shoe prints and yes he disappeared but was likely following the other sister and we are now pretty sure she didn't do it. So if the shooter has good eyes and wants stuntmen dead then it's probably Marshall and maybe Tim Konos relative who is in background all the time. Lol. OR it's mistaken identity and bad timing which Charles said Sazz got all the time and Sazz's in dark in room with bad camera got her shot and Oliver moving over just before shot that got Glen hit and next IS attempt on Mabel where I propose Marshall gets mistaken for her. If the stuntman Glen and Marshall stole the script and hate Charles, which Glen did hit him with a real bottle, then Marshall is cleaning up lose ends but didn't know Glen had a plate in his head and is probably about to make some big mistakes as time is running out. I think the LA script mystery is the side story and the Westies Arconia story is the main one but I used to think the opposite until this week. I think Dudenoff was NOT murdered but death was covered up by Inez and family and that's why Rudy Xmas was so sad to think Dudenoff was back and not visiting them. Next person to talk to us Helga and need police to ID tinsel and explain Bev's gun. I want to see Lester's note to fix window and when it got to him. The Charles adoring script could've been written by Jan during season 2, Sazz maybe, or Inez who would like to Thump Charles, if you know what I mean...lol. the fact zuma is a klepto, could've found Sazz's phone and likes to watch but not be watched could tie into the Im not your effing friend text and she was in Arconia when Jan got her note and Oliver got his and his dog got poisoned. She is not the killer though, but she could have the phone. If it's Bev, then we still think she could be Jan's Nemesis half sister and that's why she just has to do this movie...lots of possibilities still. Also I'm wondering if Sazz isn't Charles real sister and are we going to find out that Melissa McCarthy isn't and they were swapped at birth in a Desperate Housewives twist/ call back to Eva Longoria's daughter on the show. Now that would be funnier than the Fathers of the Bride moment! Id love that

I keep thinking about Uma. She wasn't happy that the cameras were being installed throughout the building. Could she be helping someone or did she see something? She was angry about Bunny getting killed and she can't take things without being caught. This was an excellent episode. Throwing a random toilet thought out there; I like the ‘Sazz wrote the script and Marshall stole it’s except for Sazz not showing any interest in writing scripts too. But is there someone else that knows the trio that might write a script? What about Jan?
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen season 1, but what if Jan wrote the script (it would be nice towards Charles because even though she said she wants to kill him, when we saw her this season, she still clearly showed she had some earnest feelings towards him). She then gives it to Sazz to look over, it gets stolen, Sazz goes detective. So it was Jams script that was stolen? Just a thought

Sazz's voice message to Bev specifically says there's a problem with the movie. So maybe Sazz, not Charles, was the intended victim.
Sazz can stop the movie, or at least pause it. If Sazz wrote the script and Marshall stole it, then the loser would be Marshall, not Bev or the twins, who can still make the movie without Marshall.
Likewise, Glenn was the intended victim, not Oliver. Glenn recognised Marshall without the fake beard. Charles assumed Glenn mistook Marshall for Mabel, but this is Charles's assumption, not fact. Maybe Glenn knows who Marshall really is, ie not a writer, or at least not a good one, as he hates doing rewrites and can only add the word "insecure" to them twice.
As for Dudenoff, that may be a red herring, or simply not related to Sazz's murder. Sazz's murder is clearly connected to the movie.

@@DoublePMedia I think there's two parallel plotlines, one concerning Sazz's murder connected to the movie, and another plotline concerning Dudenoff and his disappearance. The latter may be the other murder, the cold murder case, that's been mentioned before. It could be connected to Jan receiving the "I'm watching you" note and the trio also being watched. It's the Moriarty theory, ie a supervillain in the shadows throughout the whole series. This would be an Arconia resident. The only Arconia residents we keep coming across, albeit briefly, are Howard, Uma and Lester. Could Uma be the Moriarty? She definitely didn't want the movie to be shot at the Arconia.

I have an easy idea of how the "Stolen Script" theory could work. Have Dudenoff be the one who wrote the script. He and Sazz apparently know each other and she could have told him about Charles and the Only Murders crew. Then Marshall kills him for the script and put him in the incinerator. But afterward Sazz learned about the movie and recognized the script. To keep Sazz quiet he killed her too. Dundenoff is a film professor so it's now beyond the realm of reason to think he might also be a writer and we never learned when he died only the last time the Brother Sister's saw him. So he might have died more recently than we think especially with the fact his prosthetics were still in the incinerator.

So is old Glenny going to pull through in the hospital or will he die a second death just like his face? The other important question: when did the Brothers sisters plant the cameras in Charles' apartment? One would assume it was after the trio signed their life rights away, but what if it was before? Each of the Bros. Sister films correlates with the murder/motive/theme of each season of the show : BS Film 1: Pygmalion’s (My Fair Lady) Blood = Jan’s jealousy of always being second best to her sister (blood relative)/2nd bassoon seat in the orchestra hierarchy = Pygmalion Effect.
The Pygmalion Effect is defined as the underlying idea is that when a leader, authority figure, or role model believes we can succeed in a certain area, we will work hard to meet their expectations. This also implies that we do better when more is expected of us. The Pygmalion effect demonstrates the power expectations have in shaping behavior. This effect occurs because we tend to internalize the labels others place upon us = Jan’s dangerous need to outlive the “2nd best” stigma she believed was placed on her career wise & in her sister’s shadow
BS Film 2: The Song of the Ruptured Swan (play off of Black Swan film w/ Natalie Portman hence their costumes) Black Swan film synopsis says: The production requires a ballerina to play the innocent and fragile White Swan, for which the committed dancer Nina Sayers (Portman) is a perfect fit, as well as the dark and sensual Black Swan. Aronofsky conceived the premise by connecting his viewings of a production of Swan Lake with an unrealized screenplay about understudies and the notion of being haunted by a double = Becky Butler/Poppy being haunted by her double life. The director also considered Black Swan a companion piece to his film The Wrestler (2008), with both films revolving around demanding performances for different kinds of art = this ties into Season two’s subplot about art/Rose Cooper painting/Alice & her weird, reenactment performance art that disturbed Mabel
BS Film 3: The Desecration of Alice - when the trio watches “The Desecration of Alice” film and discover Vince Fish has a role in the film, look at Vince’s face in the scene of the film. His character has multiple eyes on his face but at first it’s predominantly 3 eyeballs circling the center of his face then the other eyeballs fill in = Season 3’s Pickwick Triplets song & theme of Oliver’s Broadway play. Also in Desecration of Alice, we see the Bros. Sisters playing TWO sisters in the film = Season 3 heavily focused on Ben & Dicky brother dynamic and all the CoBro references
*The fact that the episode highlights the Bros. Sisters first THREE films also adds to the list of the tons of “3’s” references

On my second watch of this episode I noticed that they specifically draw attention to the fact that Oliver has a VHS camcorder and that it malfunctions upon entering the production office. IED’s are often made using magnetic components, and VHS technology is particularly susceptible to interference from magnets…that plus the fact that the episode is titled “Blow Up” has me thinking that someone is trying to set off some type of 💥 device in the Arconia. It might potentially also explain the metallic strip they found in the Dudenoff apartment: could it be left over from putting together an explosive?

My mind has been going in so many different directions! One thing that I've considered is that maybe Cinda Canning is the mastermind behind a lot of this.... She's introduced to us in season one and has been in every season so far besides this one... The OMIB basically became her competition. Maybe she was trying to scare people in the building with the im watching you note... maybe she poisoned Oliver's dog... maybe she tried to shoot charles, hoping she could get mabel on board with her because she desperately wanted Mabel in season 3.... I think something separate is going on with Professor dudenoff that may not directly tie into sazz's death! I have no idea, just a crazy theory of mine!

I loved the ending to this episode. I think Sazz knew Dudenoff was murdered and was the cold case that was referenced in series 3. I think her message to Charles that was sensitive was her retirement and settling down too. Now everyone links together it appears as if the Westies are all former actors/extras. This would be plausible with why they’d accept Sazz as a stunt double. My wild theory is that this series is really about ‘who is the most important person for a film?’ Is it the producers, cameramen, actors/doubles or writers? The murderer would have their own view on their role - hence why Sazz was killed - it’s not the stunt double, Dudenoff was killed - not the cameraman/mentor figure. So that would leave for me either a famous actor (the name makes the show) or the writer (the script makes the show).

I honestly love where this season is going!! Dudenoff being revealed then instantly killed off raises the stakes immensely. For me, it is clear now from the radio ham conversation back in EP4 that Sazz figured out Dudenoff got killed by someone in the building/Hollywood. The link between Dudenoff and Sazz is either the replacement joint (meaning he was also a stunt double before becoming a teacher), or she took his class at some point in time. Either way, when he disappeared Sazz probably freaked out and started searching for him and investigating.
The reason for Dudenoff's murder is still unknown. But, I agree with most of you guys here. Marshall is the prime suspect and the theory that he stole Dudenoff's script seems to make A LOT of sense.
In this case, I would understand the where and the why and the why now.. but the how is puzzling. How do you drag a westie to the east side kill him and essentially steal his identity without any of the tightly-knit westie neighbors suspecting anything for months/years? And if that's not the case, that would lead to an even bigger question: How do you kill somebody that originally lived on the west side of the Arconia, drag his body to the incinerator all the way to the east building without anyone noticing?
How do you, a writer that's not from the building know that there's an incinerator chute in the Arconia?

  • @theartofintuition7682
    @theartofintuition7682 3 дня назад +1

Let's say Marshall went to the stunt bar to talk to Sazz about the script. Perhpas Sazz did rewrites on it. Was that the difficult relationship Sazz was talking about? Is that where Marshall met Glen? Was Glen shot because he could connect Marshall to Sazz? The two shoulder blades is suspicious. I am still not sure Sazz is dead. But since the FBI has confirmed her remains, I will accept. I don't see Glen cleaning up the murder scene. He could carry the body, only if it was zipped up and he did not know who was in it. I don't see him "willing" in a plot to kill Sazz. I stil fell Lincoln is a clue hinting to a larger conspiracy. We need 1 person to shoot, 1 person to clean up, 1 or 2 people to move the body.

I think Sazz is the mystery person in the photo with the Westies and she took his film course at some time in the past since she’s a stunt double and probably would have wanted to learn more about the movie filming process to help with her stunt acting. That would explain the Duddenoff connection and how Duddenoff would have gotten his joint replacements from 🇷🇴. Is it possible that Sazz went by a fake name when she was hanging with the Westies?

Rudy's been on my suspect list since ep3. With his athletic prowess, he's the only Westie that could pull off the hit & clean-up job alone in 11 mins. It's also not a far stretch that he could have been a stuntman after failing as an actor, and with Glen seeing rats, perhaps it is an ex-stunt person who is the killer.

19:45 ...it could be the opposite. Remember that when the police arrived to investigate the kitchen area and window, it was determined that the glass fragments inside signaled that the shot came from outside. I don't know anymore, man. Every video, I write my long-winded thoughts, but it all feels so pointless. I like the theory that the Westies are covering up Dudenoff's death. Not that they murdered him, but they hid his body away in the incinerator so they wouldn't lose their rent-control deal (or whatever). So I think that's meant as a distraction and they are not the real murderer of Sazz. However, I still find it WAY too coincidental that there are two left shoulder joints found in one incinerator. I mean, what are the chances of that? The show is really asking us to suspend disbelief, unless there's some other conspiracy I'm missing.
Okay, if Glen was the intended target, then who was the shooter? I still think it's Mr. 20/10 vision, Marshall. He seemed way too jumpy this episode. And although I don't want it to be another "producers" reveal, it does seem as if Bev is complicit somehow. Maybe she's the one calling the shots. So why was Glen targeted? Because he recognized Marshall/Lassie? Following from last week's popular theory, did Marshall steal Sazz's script and Sazz needed to be silenced or else the movie would be shut down?
I guess the most interesting thing to consider is the "I am watching you" message that they all receive, which harkens back to season 1. Is this our Moriarty showing their hand? Does it tie back in with Vince and Rudy trying to cover up Dudenoff's body and not wanting the murder podcast crew to sniff around the building? That would be very interesting if all these seeds were planted from the very beginning.

I am not convinced that the woman in the Westie group picture is Sazz. It would make sense for her to have connections with the Westies, given the information she had compiled before her death, the detail of the pig tails bothers me. In the 3 years we've seen Sazz on the show, she has always had short hair, which helps when she is doubling for men. Even though the Westie picture looks like it was taken long before the season starts, it seems odd that she would grow out her hair. I suppose she could have worn a wig to be undercover, but you would think no one on that side of the Arconia would know her, because she doesn't actually live there. Not dressing as Charles would be enough of a disguise, honestly.

@@DoublePMedia We have seen Loretta wear her hair in pigtails! That would be a real left field reveal. We haven't seen Helga yet, but since the person in the picture is holding the pig, and when Helga was talking to the main characters on the Ham radio, she was very concerned about the pig, so that would make the most sense, but might end up being a red herring. I can't remember which Westie had the picture of the whole group, with the woman's face crossed out. If it was Rudy, it may be just a red herring.
