Thank you for sharing. I am learning auto parts cause I just join the seamless steel pipe company. Your videos give me a better understanding of bushings. Waiting for your next lesson.
I came across this channel when I was looking for loose flange, so when I saw this I couldn't stop watching the other lessons! keep on the good work professor!
In reference to a gas union in a wall: I needed to add a shut off valve in the middle of an 8" pipe. I had to undo the union to remove the pipe. I cannot get the top part of the union to come off since it is in a small space and I don't have the strength to hold the pipe while trying to remove the nut. Is it okay to leave it on the pipe and use a new piece of union on the new lower pipe? Someone on you tube said that you can't reuse it. That sounds iffy to me.
Thanks for the information, just wanted to know if there is a particular way as of which side of a taper union fits , as per the direction of the flow of water , in a chilled water HVAC system. Thanks.
Absolutely love the way the teaching is showered with multiple references to easy grasp the concept, esp for a millennial like myself. Thank you
