Thank you! But this beautiful and lovely Filipino song is very much alive and always being played in Samar and Leyte especially during Fiestas and wedding celebration. Among the notable personality (to name just one) whole lovebto dance the Kuratsa dance is the Former Congressman Raul Daza of Northern Samar, he is an avid Kuratsa dancer during his colorful political career.

Aren't we there yet? I feel likè we have done a big leap on reviving Filipino music on the wing of the guitar thru masters likè Florante Aguilar and Michael Dadap among others. And we have played our roles, minor guitar hobbyists and audience, by lending our ear and keeping the momentum going. Let's live the dream!
I loved their music, it's the music that I've grown up with and I've even did the harana on my youth. It's pure filipino. Reminds me who we are. There's places that i know of in the phi that still does the kuratsa around the visayas area. It's fun to watch.

This sounds like the Spanish music in the style of Enrique Granados and Isaac Albeniz from Spain, Bravo Maestros.
Wow 🎉🎉 Both are very talented. I don't think it is fair to compare. First of all they are using entirely different guitars which can greatly affect the sound. Different style of play.
I wish I can see them both play a 12 stringed Rickenbacker guitar. That will sound awesome.

We Waraynons call this "Kuratsa Mayor" because it is played in a Major scale. On the other hand, there is also "Kuratsa Menor" played on the Minor scale. Nakakaproud as a Waray yung video niyo.
